The Charleys down here in FL, is waaay better than what you got there. But Charleys are franchised owned, so it's really the owners who mess everything up.

That mall looks sad, as most of them do at this moment in time. As a child, the mall and the food courts were our favorite get away. Now most of em are filled with over priced kiosks. 😢

I didn't realize malls are no longer as popping in the US as where I'm from. When I go to mall, its usually for a whole day of fun. But I didn't realize you can basically order anything online now especially in the US. I think a cool new series for you to try out is to go to malls in your state and find some underrated food spots in them.
See thats really it espicaly considering America is literally amazon country they got the hookup on that amazon stuff without having to travel

Even in Philadelphia, you've got to be careful. Several of the 'best Philly cheesesteaks' are actually pretty mediocre.
I ate Charley's here in LA. I'm not going to say it's the most authentic philly cheesesteak. But, it's solid... 4 stars to my eyes.
I lived in LA for awhile. Its uh not known for the food. CA probably has the worst food scene in the entire country. So I can understand if you live in LA thinking Charlie's is good but man if you ever got to Philly or the northeast in general and get a really good well made cheesesteak, its going to blow your brain away. lol

@@NeutralGloomBot I feel CA is just the jack of all trades of food. You can get anything imaginable but it's usually not as good as the states that specialize more towards a particular type of cuisine. It's all decent but not spectacular.

I would have taken that back and asked for more meat and if they said no, I'd get a refund. That was borderline robbery serving you a combo with that for $14.00 with how much skimpy they were with the meat.
When they said small I guess they really meant the amount of Steam-Umm meat in the "Grinder". That place is like my social life - sad in EVERY respect.

We had a Charlies in our Walmart, it was bad, it was only open for a few months and they closed. Don't know why but I would like to think its because it sucked! Bad food and bad service.
We have a Charley's in one of our Walmart's here in San Antonio. I will say every time I've been it's been decent. Hot food, fries could have been better.

When I lived in Pittsburgh, I would go to Charley's every time I was in the mall. The cheese steaks were fantastic, and everything was fresh. Location definitely matters. Malls not being hot spots like they use to those establishments quality greatly reduced.

From a guy who grew up in South Philly, I could not have said it better myself. And I have never ever seen or thought of toasting the bread. And the roll is extremely important . It makes the sandwich. We take it very seriously to the point of people getting shot. They need to be arrested for CRUILTY TO STANK SANDWHICH. LOVE your show.

Why on earth was there a pickle on the damn thing? I'm not from Philly but all our "Philly" Cheese Steaks here in MN are steak, onions, peppers and you can either get cheese or the wiz depending on location.

I was at the mall at rockingham Park Salem NH and wanted a quick bit so I headed over to this Charley's spot. The bun was so wet and soggy I couldn't even lift it up cause of the greese and oil... and steak ums. I 💯 agree it takes just like that it was awful one bit, and I was like, "Oh no, son, stop offering this sandwich all together. This is a hard zero all day, and I never went to that spot again, just horrid just a waste of my money that they didn't deserve

we had a charlies cheesestake here in pensacola, fl. they closed and a different company went in. they were alright
When I worked at the Home Depot in Waterford . I would go to Charles in the Crystal mall once in a while. Though I didn't get down with the cheese stake I did like the Buffalo chicken sandwich with the loaded fries. I found them to be decent enough for the price.
I am eating a Jersey Mikes right now watchin this and the meat alone on my sub bigger than that whole sandwich!

There's a Charley's near me, but i never go there because there's a place called t-bones that is ten times better than anything else in town.
locally in north salisbury marylands walmart is a Charlies Cheesesteak place. i gave them a 1 star. place was not busy. took 20 minutes to hand me my SMALL PLAIN CHEESESTEAK with salt & pepper. when i opened it there was almost no steak to be found, some cheese and no pepper in sight. after taking one bite i realised there wasnt any salt either. it was BLAND BLAND BLAND. for over $7 all they gave me was a roll with barley any cheesesteak flavor. i even included pics in my review.

The Charlie's Over By Me on the West Coast definitely never looked that sad. It's probably been a couple years since I've eaten there but I always remembered having a lot more meat than that where it was falling out with a lot of cheesy provolone. $14.00 for that sad joke of a sandwich is a complete rip-off.

I actually had them for the first time in the mall the other day. Personally i enjoyed the regular size cheesesteak. I got it with only onions and cheese and i enjoyed it. It was hot and had a good cheesepull. The fries were tasty too.
I will say the Charley's that I have near my home, I've never actually had the food there since it looked lackluster but the lemonades they have have always been really good and that's mainly the only thing I ever get

Charley's chicken teriyaki is delicious with the loaded fries and blueberry lemonade lol never tried their phillys . I go to Penn station if I want a Philly.
Out here in Southern Cali Charlie’s is delicious and hooked up. I think it just depends on the “cooks” 😂

This either means the food in Canada is really that bad or the food in the states is at a whole nother level. I believe it is both. Keep up the good work. Que the music!!!
