Its coming along fantastic! Thanks to you I finally posted my first video on control runners. This is also the year for my rockers. I had a local metal shop bend them up. Car couldn't wait for subie savers 2012 ones. Dont want inner structure to start corroding. Thanks for your videos again

I’m just curious. Maybe because he plans to actually rally this car ? Why go through all the trouble of paint and clean engine bag and everything but leave so much stuff still dirty u underneath when reinstalling instead of just giving everything a full clean for reassembly , or he didn’t have the money for cleaning too 😂

Ya your right, it is because it will just be a rally car. The bright engine bay is to spot leaks. Its a function over form thing.
After the rest of running and fab is done, I believe we will have the car back for some further underbody protection at least

Ive watched all of your rust restoration videos on Subarus and I restoring my own (Im albertan restoring a Quebec 2004 subie) What epoxy primer do you use to stop the rust from coming back?

Thats sweet dude! Ya i find the quebec cars can be pretty rough with the rust.
We use PPG CRE 2 part epoxy primer. It is fantastic stuff. All the best with the job brother!

What do you think of putting GR front knuckles on the GD? Makes a bearing job easy during a service. Do you guys know of any bolt-on hub options that’d work for the funky rear GD knuckle layout?

The fronts are no problem to swap on actually 👌

@@TheSubieSanctuary yeah exactly apart from the axle stub length. But the REARS, there’s probably no compatible oe knuckles with bolt on, afaik 😭
