It's a shame she is only known for Tiger Mom stuff now and not her foreign affairs work.

There is actually a prominent economically dominant minority in Ukraine and Russia too. It may possibly provoke accusations of stereotyping and xenophobia, but in the former Soviet Union, many of the oligarchs that arose to exploit the privatization process actually had Jewish ancestry.

How sad of you to go the negative with such a gross stereotype - any chance their prominence has to do with embedded value system (education, assimilation, work ethic, philanthropy) - of the same group?
Hmmm - you'd benefit from readying MORE of Ms. Chua's books - she has written an entire book on America's most successful minority groups - not all immigrants, but all with certain PRONOUNCED VALUES in common. Includes the Jews.
She links the successful minority groups - Asians, Indians, Nigerians, Mormons, Jews, etc. together - by what they share in common that tends to lead to success.
Maybe you have more to learn before spouting.

What did she have to say about racist stereotypes?

She taught JD Vance and was a mentor to him and thought the world of him. She supported Supreme Court justice Kavanaugh. I wonder what she thinks about Vance’s litany of lies now and of the stacking of the Supreme Court. She’s obviously very smart and also helps to feed lawyers into clerking. Not sure what to make of her.

She missed one about Ukraine. The protestants in the east were a major factor leading up to the current situation. You can learn about that from somebody like Simon Ostrovsky

You can't expect her to put Europeans or the whites into tribes, it's reserved for Asians and Africans.

The US financed the Taliban in order to get the Russians out. In retrospect they did NOT want to fight the Taliban after that, because of their repressive policy, also regarding women. But to revenge Alqaida.
So they had actually financed jihadism for fighting communism. Illustrating they did not know what they were doing.
Although I agree with the defenition about what happened in Vietnam, regarding Afghanistan you are making secundary connections prevelant. While they certainly are not.
