I played this game a lot as a kid. I always was stuck on like 99% missing the last extra chest. I spend weeks trying to find it but always failed so i gave up at some point.. now i rewatched the movie again and got the urge to play the game again and got a reminder of my failure. Now here i am, fainaly seeing a 100% video of the game, 18 years later, and on 1:40:50 we have it, the last chest. Back in the days we havent had this videos and im so thankful to finally be able to complete the game to 100% on my old (still existing) game save... 18 years later! Thank u so much man :D But be honest, what the f is the placement of this chest. I searched every corner of this map for weeks..
Honestly I don't remember how I found it as a kid, or a lot of other extras. What stopped me from being able to 100% the game back then was a lot of the time and ring challenges lol. But yeah glad you were able to 100% the game eventually
Same. I hate how Shift bashes this game so much. It's so good! Sure its not perfect, and Battle for Bikini Bottom is better (general community consensus), but this game still rocks! For me at least, movie and bfbb are on equal footing. I had so much fun with both games, I find myself playing both of them every couple years.
There's been like over 6 mins of route/strat improvements and then the rest comes from better movement and execution. Never thought it'd get this low, so I can't say things like "2:19 in 100% will never happen" anymore lol
I can't believe I got an entire lecture about parasocial relationships and not trusting youtubers during a drive through Goofy Goobers. Good job on this tough run!

So funny to hear you talking about how annoying motion controls on the wii game is when I was little it did not pick up my motions at all and I got stuck on the first level so I had to go to the store and exchange it for a gamecube copy 😂😂😂
When collecting the 5 keys scattered around the level, the gate opens. I upgraded slam just before touching the finish line because for reasons that are complicated, it saves a tiny bit to upgrade in this level. However, they don't need to be done together
Hello! 2 Things: 1, Great Speedrun and your Video was Recommended to me by youtube! 2. Your SNES is from JAPAN which is an NTSC TV Standard which I don't believe will display on PAL TV's. That might be your issue. Unless you have since figured out your issue and you can just disregard my comment. Either way, Great job!
Thank you. As for the TV, it can display 60hz. Most PAL CRT’s can’t, and it took ages to find one that could. But even if it didn’t support 60hz, 50hz would’ve been enough to get a black and white picture. I fixed the SNES by opening it and cleaning out the dust
It took a handful of runs to get to the point of never missing it anymore. In a speedrun setting it’s comparatively very easy, as it’s just memorisation. You can use pause strats to see where the next ring is, I used to sometimes do that
