I don’t say it as much anymore, we’ve had a slow like 16 months or something but some stuff will inevitably be found to push the times lower, or new setups for unviable tricks will be discovered. 42:06 Your theory isn't far off. Now That We're Men, Shell City Dead Ahead, and Welcome to Planktopolis... Minions, were supposed to be single levels. As opposed to multi-segment levels. All three have remnants of each section. SCDA part 1 has the slides from 3 Meter Island and the first 4 crates of part two just outside the exit, and Planktopolis part 2 has most of part 1's geometry. All it's missing is the buildings. As for the stuff under the map, it's believed that the gate was originally supposed to block off the side-quests you do as Patrick, including the Floating Block Challenge. Looking at that button within the files says only Patrick's throw (and the Sonic Wave) can activate it, said button activates the gate, and it's placed almost right under the side-area's entrance. Further proving the theory.
59:30 Whoa, going out of bounds in this bit was new to me. So, this basically proves that the second half of Planktopolis was originally connected to the first, or at least that it's based off of it. I just tried this glitch for myself on PS2, but instead of falling in the void, there seems to be collision everywhere that matches the first half of the level. To add to this, when I walked far enough out of bounds, the sand texture for most of the collision from the first half of the level started to render! Very interesting.
To add to this, Planktopolis' name in the files is "PT01", and Knucklehead is "PT02". The second area of Planktopolis is named "PT03", which further proves the theory that it was abruptly split in two

I remember playing this as a kid and feeling like a genius when I found two places to glitch through the floor completely out of curiosity. There was one spot in now that we're men where in the lava there was no collision so you fall to the floor infinitely and there was another in planktopolis where you climb on the port o potty and you can jump over the wall and walk to the edge of the map and fall infinitely.
That one door in the ice cube baloon room that Patrick hits to open can then be ground pounded on and if done enough it will fully rotate and you can close the dooe with patrick inside

@@Purple_Foundation Yeah, that's probably the same too. But if you compare Squidward's house in the intro to BFBB, you can see that the texture looks pretty similar; a texture that I believe is different to the one used in the hub.
I'm actually really interested in bowl storage now. Has it been tested further on either Xbox or PS2 because I've got the PS2 version and kinda want to try it. Also does bowl storage work different on Xbox 360/PS3 or is it relatively the same? Fun video to watch all the way through.
@@battle_plays Thank you. It hasn’t been tested much since the release of this video because the process is slow and the results are often discouraging. I should also say that I crashed so many times when testing bowl storage that it did permanent damage to one of my OG’s, now if it crashes once it won’t turn on for a while, so I don’t use it for testing anymore. No idea if this would happen on PS2 The levels with the most potential are probably the sliding and driving levels as well as the combat arenas and Shell City Dead Ahead floating block challenge (we’ve proven we can move platforms, though it’s rare) PS3 should work the same, and I know 360 works the exact same. If you want, I can send you a discord link to the bowl storage testing server because that’s where the spreadsheets are. The server isn’t active but it could be active again if a new effect catches people’s attention

There are very few that are exclusive to Xbox. It's mostly bowl storage, and Xbox's version of Pause Storage. And some driving tricks are easier on OG than GC. But other than those things, I can't think of anything off the top of my head that's Xbox exclusive
@@Sammyplays50 bowl storage still works on ps2, but it seems to tackle a different part of memory as it almost always has different effects compared to Xbox. We don’t have a PS2 Mindy skip atm but it still could exist as a different bowl storage chain. Lag clips aren’t possible but there’s still a lot of stuff you can try out that’s shown in the video

Skydive is technically more canon to Movie than the intended Rock Slide method.

In rub a dub you can completely jump around the first target if yiu wanted to. No real uses except it being present for other challenges

Essentially bowl storage has turned SpongeBob Movie Game into a modern day Creepypasta.
I'm only 12 minutes in but I already love the format and wish there were more like it for other platformers

It’s not visually loaded in because I skipped a lot of the level, so I never reached a point where the game knows to load in certain objects
