Primary difference between Thar and Jimny is that Thar can be a primary car for a family while jimny can't. Most of the Jimny owners use it as a secondary or tertiary car. So the argument that rich people buying Thar and poor buying Jimny doesn't stand.😮

My Jimny is 50,000 KM now,that also on stock tyres.. It's unbelievable performance.. Very affordable car with superb drivability, especially on wet terrains. Thar tyres are not long lasting..Thar maintenance cost is very high and not affordable.Jimny service cost is very cheap less than 5,000 rupees..Spend total only 20,000 rupees till 50,000 km..

Jimny is value for money, second to none when to comes to off road. Because of size advantage jimny can go to places even wrangler cant go. Like wrangler jimny have solid axles, only wrangler and jimny have it. Also it will last a life time. Power - you can tune jimny by adding turbo etc Only disadvantage i see in off road is water crossing- because of light weight it may tumble if the current is there. You can compare anything to anything- we understand the differences by comparing, so i didn't see a point in saying not comparable.

Jimnny യുടെ ഇപ്പോഴ്തെ പ്രൈസ് വച്ച് ബെസ്റ്റ് വാല്യൂ ഫോർ മണി ഓഫ്‌റോഡർ ആണ്... No competition. Few drawbacks are 4 seater, storage spaces (even a bottle holder), no off-road tyres, large turning radius, less width is a disadvantage also an advantage and finally safety. Mileage i don't want to mention because its an off-road vehicle.

problem is people just compare for the sake of comparing. Each individual has their own needs and we should be buying things which satisfy our own needs. For some Thar might be a fit and for some Jimny might be fit, there is no perfect car.

jimny is a good vehicle the problem was during the launch Suzuki priced it wrong , thar initially costed around 16 lakh for diesel automatic introductory price Jimny on the other hand ruined the pricing by launching it at 19L onroad to rectify that mistake they're giving huge discounts to Jimny , I have driven both cars and Jimny has the better suspension ,ride comfort and all problem was the safety issue, poor steering feedback, poor onroad performance, offroad Jimny is better in some cases but water wading goes for thar, thar has better power onroad where people use it the most, and of course the road presence indian customers are not ready to buy a small car for that price, companies should learn from mahindra on how they're marketing the product 4wd Thar Roxx will cost around 28 on road expected but its gonna sell like hot cakes , if Jimny was given a better tune better transmission and launched at the price at which it was selling now it would have sold well
Comparing Jimny to Roxx is like comparing the Roxx to Hilux or Wrangler. Idiots are everywhere and some might even not have driven a car in their life 😂. Mahindra is being cunning boasting the ex showroom price of the base variant. That's just marketing on a different league. After watching the Roxx review pandemic I now understand how good a car the Jimny is. Seriously thinking of trading my car for a manual Jimny for its practicality and boxy design. 😊

I have both but I love Jimny for compact and comfortable off-roading , at least we cant see the rust on body of Jimny .
Jimny is value for money, second to none when to comes to off road. Because of size advantage jimny can go to places even wrangler cant go. Like wrangler jimny have solid axles, only wrangler and jimny have it. Also it will last a life time. Power - you can tune jimny by adding turbo etc Only disadvantage i see in off road is water crossing- because of light weight it may tumble if the current is there. You can compare anything to anything- we understand the differences by comparing, so i didn't see a point in saying not comparable.

Jimnny യുടെ ഇപ്പോഴ്തെ പ്രൈസ് വച്ച് ബെസ്റ്റ് വാല്യൂ ഫോർ മണി ഓഫ്‌റോഡർ ആണ്... No competition. Few drawbacks are 4 seater, storage spaces (even a bottle holder), no off-road tyres, large turning radius, less width is a disadvantage also an advantage and finally safety.
Mileage i don't want to mention because its an off-road vehicle.

ഒരു പുതിയ ഫ്രോങ്സ് അല്ലങ്കിൽ ഒരു ബ്രെസ്സ എടുത്താൽ കൊള്ളാമെന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ചിലരുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ 2-3 വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ വണ്ടിയുടെ ടെക്നോളജി ഒരുപാട് മാറാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോൾ പുതിയ വണ്ടി എടുക്കുന്നത് മണ്ടത്തരം ആകും എന്നാണ്. എനിക്കാണെങ്കിൽ ഇടക്കിടക്ക് വണ്ടി മാറാനുള്ള സമ്പത്തീക അവസ്ഥയിലുമല്ല. വാങ്ങുന്ന വണ്ടി കുറച്ചുകാലം ഉപയോഗിക്കണം. എന്താണ് താങ്കളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം.? ഉള്ള വണ്ടി ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ വർഷം കൂടി നിലനിർത്തി കുറച്ചു വെയിറ്റ് ചെയ്തു വണ്ടി എടുക്കണോ അതോ അതൊന്നും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതെ പുതിയ വണ്ടി എടുക്കണോ.?

jimny is a good vehicle the problem was during the launch Suzuki priced it wrong , thar initially costed around 16 lakh for diesel automatic introductory price Jimny on the other hand ruined the pricing by launching it at 19L onroad to rectify that mistake they're giving huge discounts to Jimny , I have driven both cars and Jimny has the better suspension ,ride comfort and all problem was the safety issue, poor steering feedback, poor onroad performance, offroad Jimny is better in some cases but water wading goes for thar, thar has better power onroad where people use it the most, and of course the road presence indian customers are not ready to buy a small car for that price, companies should learn from mahindra on how they're marketing the product 4wd Thar Roxx will cost around 28 on road expected but its gonna sell like hot cakes , if Jimny was given a better tune better transmission and launched at the price at which it was selling now it would have sold well
