Canyoning & Rappelling Down 200+ Ft. Waterfalls in the Costa Rican Rainforest

This was by far our favorite activity we did while in Costa Rica! We rappelled down 4 waterfalls (2 of which were over 200 feet tall!), and hiked through a slot canyon and creek in the Costa Rican rainforest, near the Arenal Volcano! At one point our guides blocked the water from flowing down a small waterfall, and they had us sit at the bottom as they released all the water on top of us! One of our fellow hikers had his shoe break, so one of the guides graciously gave him his shoes for the remainder of the hike, while he went barefoot. All of our guides on this trip went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and all our needs were met!
We traveled to Costa Rica with the travel group Fun Happenings Travel & Adventure Group, and they coordinated all of our activities for us. I don't know if I can travel any other way now! They made it so easy! I definitely recommend checking them out for your next international adventure!

What type of water shoes did you wear for this and would you recommend them?

I wore Keens and they worked great! Very grippy and allowed water to flow in and out.
