Cool video and what a fun time! Costa Rica has a different feel to it. The wildlife is prevalent, like, everywhere. Green, waterfalls, rain...it just feels like life.

If you're working your way north, then you're stealing all the countries that I wanted to visit.😂 I was THIS close to going to Costa Rica, but I was gonna go to Alajuela. Though if Im honest, I've actually been flip flopping on whether or not I wanna visit Costa Rica. When I was a kid, this was my favorite country for a while, but these days I'm more into history, so I feel I would be bored and disappointed in Costa Rican cities. I like animals, but I'm not a huge fan of the rainforests and I have much nicer waterfalls 20 minutes from my house. 😂The only thing that really interests me there is the Poas Volcano. Costa Rica DOES have cool national parks and historic sites, but they're so ridiculously expensive to visit. Everyone says Costa Rica is cheap, but national parks and excursions are VERY expensive! I feel you can find the same things in other countries, that also have much more. While I'm not taking Costa Rica off the table, I would definitely much rather go to Panama and Nicaragua, where I feel I'm getting better quality for what I'm paying.
When I was younger I wanted to see as many countries as possible, and I told myself that I will at least visit every country in Europe and the Americas, but as you get older and realize you're gonna die some day, you start prioritizing bucketlst destinations. And you also realize that a lot of places are very similar to each other, especially to ones that you've already seen. Like we have the same kind of stuff in Hawaii😂 Sometimes I'll watch my older videos, and I cringe at some of the tourist trap places I spent money on.😂Though if money wasn't a factor, I'd probably just go everywhere!😂
Anyways, enjoy your travels through Costa Rica🙂

I think Costa Rica is quite expensive, at least compared to other countries in the region.
I get your point but I still think every country is different, even if just little slight things, you always learn and see something new :)

@Aliki Travel Blog You're probably right, but some countries are too difficult and expensive to get to. I think when you get to a certain point, you start to narrow it down. There are places I wanted to see when I was younger, that I no longer do. Though at the same time, who knows if I wouldn't go everywhere if I had the money😂

Dear friend, you are absolutely right, Costa Rica is not for you; If you have better waterfalls in your land, better go and enjoy them, if you don't like nature, the beauty of the tropical jungles, the primary Cloud Forests, the most solemn respect for the environment, the passionate love for nature, the greenest country in the world and the largest number of living beings, plants and animals per square meter in the world; This is the part in which he is going to start talking to me about other countries with similar conditions and I respect that, but only by seeing Costa Rica would he understand how far such nations are from our achievements, for which I invite you please do not come. People of good faith are highly appreciated and considered here, so if you consider that it is "misleading advertising", the beauties that you have seen in a single stroke here, please do not come. What we do agree on is that Costa Rica is expensive, of course it is and "Infinite thanks to God for that", because this guarantees that the destitute or opportunists do not come (those who by their own means have not been able to seeking a better quality of life are also welcome as long as they understand that for us Ticos work comes first). Finally, you must understand that from your words the experience of the "Pura Vida" concept of life is not for you, you would never understand us Ticos and I do not intend to convince you otherwise, but if at your age you have not found peace, you will not find it either. among us because he does not have the necessary humility for it. Follow your path and may you be Pura Vida.🇨🇷🕊️
