My neighbor painted her bedroom ceiling a pale blue and used the scallop technique to bring the color down the walls a bit. It is so cute!

Bold? She's got the thinnest non-colourful palet in the world. Lot's of cute little hacks you can use with actual colours but she does not do colours.

My favorite is the black line, it adds so much personality to a boring wall. The scallop's paint has a 70's vibes.
We made an accent wall inspired in one of your designs and it turns out really beautiful. Now we are moving around the house. This weekend we relocated the Family room to a more open space in the house and it resulted just perfect 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I saw the video of Sarah´s small room makeover where you painted pink up to higher than half the wall-now seeing it again I am looking around my open living/dining/kitchen thinking how I wanted to do a high wainscot in white then a pop of color above and cap with crown molding. Well I need repairs before I splurge on anything to do wainscot or crown molding so now I ´m like......this is the answer. The top will be white along with the ceiling and allowing it to maintain the light, bright & airy but I´ll finally have a paint job to pull this open area together! (plus I want to paint the 4 doors in my entry area the same pink as in your house so....I am very excited to try this) Now to decide the color for the rest!

I love the circle in the little girl’s bedroom but I usually repaint a room in less than 5 years to keep it fresh (not necessarily different colours) so I’d be better able to change as she grows up

I always love your diys and makeover rooms. The accent wall ideas are so inspiring that I hope to recreate one of the ideas on my bedroom and living room walls. In one of your previous videos when your friend DIY Danie made your beautiful arched bookshelf, I noticed when she entered into the entryway of your apartment building downstairs it looked kind of dark and the color was off. I think your next makeover should be there so when you enter it will look more modern, clean and a happy place not just for you but for everyone else who lives there. Keep up the good work and I forward to your next videos! 😀

I got the first 2 ideas following #TheSorryGirls, but bathroom idea sounds like the perfect upgrade for my all white bathroom; a fun and simple design that matches well with most wood pieces used in rental apartments. so excited for more.

Love it!! I wish I could do something like this. But where I live, a small 1 bedroom apartment, is all covered by rental beige wallpaper with this weird texture, like every single new apartment in this city. How can I make this look better since I'm not allowed to ripped it off?

Just my opinion, but I think the first headboard should have been a bit wider. To me it looks odd with the corners of the bedhead sticking out from the painted semi-circle. Otherwise a beautiful room.

Hey! I wanted your expert advice! I was actually thinking about doing a 1/2 or 3/4 accent wall like you showed in your video. My room is pretty small and I have standard height ceilings (like 8ft). Do you think this technique will make my room look shorter/smaller? I appreciate your posts!
Hi! Not an expert here but if you're worried about the horizontal line making the room look shorter, maybe try a vertical stripe of the width of your bed or whatever you put in front of it :)

Thanks for all the inspiration. I am curious how the scalloped treatment would look almost as a wainscoting or half way up a wall.
I think it's a stretch to say scalloped edges and sophisticated referring to the same item. I do love it in a pastel shade with a couple of painted birds in a kids room.
Only thing is that the paint jobs are visibly rough on the edges....would drive me nuts as a client
