I got this bike. I took it out to the highway and went to the countryside. Did a lot of twisty. Super fun bike.

How tall are you? And would this be a good fit for a 190 pound 6'3 guy?
I am shot 5'7 150 pounds. I would say it may be a bit short, I flat foot it no issue so it could feel cramped.

Beautiful first ride Wvlfe. By now, you realize the traffic is meandering, stopping and turning, like you aren't even there. You have a realistic attitude about your abilities, rare for a man your age. Wanting to improve shows character. Stay safe.
You're a natural, we can tell. I like my first bike too (Rebel 500A) at 64. It's my forever bike. I have a feeling you are going to graduate up from yours in a hurry though.

You will be fine. I got a 300 2020. I used to drive manual stick shift cars so I know how to work on the clutch on motorcycles. It's same concept except you are using your hand, not your feet. I use my bike for commuting in SF, super fun, and i don't feel like I'm going to work. Traffic or w/o traffic i get to work super fast...and i enjoy it alot.

I honestly don't remember it's been so long. I don't think it was topped off fully, I got like 100 miles in before I filled it up I wanna say! It all happened so fast tbh. I got there, signed and was on the road 30 mins later lol

It's a good beginner bike imo I've enjoyed it so far! It's helped me not overextend my skill level, its a reserved bike in high end speed but it still makes decent power to be able to feel comfortable and pass in traffic etc.

It's nice, but you may outgrow the 500 CC. Its basically topped out on the freeway at 75/80. Its nice for around town but I wish I would have gotten the 1100!

Love this bike and it's so fun to ride. I rode the 1100 and i prefer the feel of the 500, the 1100 felt jerky in the throttle, the 500 just feels right

Yeah 100% partially the reason I chose it. I really like the style and for the price point you can't beat it! I honestly wish I had gotten the 1100 for more power but at the end of the day I am happy with my choice!
