Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions!! I had my portable battery in my hand before walking out the door and then decided I didn't need it, lol! I also have the Gopro charger to install on my 300! Lesson learned, ALWAYS bring the portable battery.
Solo trips with no itinerary are the best
It was so fun!! I can’t wait to do more just like this!!
Lady look at you shredding those roads! I remember when you were just starting out riding, how scared you were, and look at you now! Amazing progress.
Can you believe it’s been almost a year exactly since I rode home terrified from the PARKING LOT!!! I can’t believe it! Thank you!!🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogsyou never gave up you finished the dream
Dang what a freakin trip babe!! Crazy to think that less than a year ago you didn’t even have your motorcycle license…and now you’re doing stuff like this?! So proud of you! But next time I’m tagging along 😂🧡
Isn’t it so wild?! I can’t believe it sometimes I really can’t. And yes we HAVE to do this ride together!! Omg!!🤍🤍🤍
She's gonna take all your subscribers bro🤣🤣
@@KomotoVlogs Taking my class in a few weeks and looking at my first bike. Yall have honestly been an inspiration. Especially seeing your apprehension turning into rides like this. Stoked to be doing things like that myself and shaking off my nerves. Adorable power couple vibes
Big year brother! She's ready for the big dog now. Give it up and buy yourself a new one...or 2, so i can roll with ya both.
Loved your adventure! The phone thing is a real bummer. I ordered a usb port for my bike so I can run gps and charge and it’s made it so much easier! I was able to wire it in myself.
It’s amazing to see how confident and relaxed you are on your bike, compared to the nervous wreck you were when you started riding. So impressed with you Nina and so happy you are enjoying your journey!
Thank you so much!! It took a lot of practice and learning to get here and I’ve still got tons to do! I can’t wait to see where this journey continues on to!🤘🏻
72yr old guy here, been riding since 14, currently on ninja 400 and Enfield 650. It's very warm here in south Ga. You need to add a USB port on your bike to keep your phone charged. Nice video!
I love that you’re still riding and enjoying motorcycles! That’s the dream. We’re on the cusp of some warmer weather here!! And I actually have one I just gotta get the dang thing installed haha. It was my own fault for not bringing a portable battery, lesson learned!! Thank you for watching! Ride safe🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogs Question for you and jimt1240: Does your back/shoulders hurt when you ride for a long time? Any advice for me, whose back does hurt? Thanks.
@@PolyMathWannaBe62 they did until I added one inch risers! It was perfect. I also take breaks and try to avoid riding with a backpack.
@KomotoVlogs I usually only ride for an hour or less per day just to keep the blood flowing. It's not too hard on my back and shoulders but I'm in better shape than many at 72. We also have a 650 enfield that has a more relaxed riding positiom but the Ninja is faster/sportier and more fun to ride imo.
Edit: sorry I see I addressed the wrong person.
Girl! You have no idea how much you have helped me push through this learning experience. So proud of you and how far you have come I can’t wait for days rides like that for myself. I have been on the road all of five times now but feel more confident each time.
Thank you so much!! Just keep doing that and you have no idea how quick it’ll happen! Only a year ago is when I was terrified to ride home from the parking lot!! You got this!!🤘🏻
New subscriber here. I just had your channel recommended, and I’m digging it!!! You have the perfect personality, and platform to help new riders on their journey into the 2 wheel life. As your experience rises, so will the fun you’ll have. They’re are so many cool people you’ll meet along the way that makes it that much more enjoyable.I’ve been telling people for years that THINK they need a huge displacement motorcycle to enjoy riding, that they should start out with a smaller, lighter bike, and move up to something bigger if they feel the need to. I’m 56, and have been riding since I was a kid. Took a break for a number of years, but I finally got another bike. I’ve been riding a Harley sportster for a few years, and love it, but I’m looking to get something under 500cc this summer. Something along the lines of a Ninja 400/Z400, Duke 390, Yamaha R3, or a CBR 500. I test rode both the Ninja 400, and Z400 at Kawasaki’s demo ride days, and loved them. There’re so light and fun to ride, that I got to have one!!! 😂 Continued good luck on your 2 wheel journey, and be safe out there.
Thank you so much for your comment and support!! What I love about motorcycles is it’s an entire world to explore in terms of power, turning, adventure, modification… I mean it’s a massive world to explore. Keep on your two wheel journey and ride safely!!🤘🏻
Im enjoying the flow of how you edit. Chill vibes, showing the off bike happenings. Looks like a fun day riding!
Thank you so much! I worked really hard on this edit! It was a great day🤘🏻
Just watched your first video and then this one. So amazing what you’ve accomplished in a year. From nervous in a parking lot to a road trip! I’m taking my MSF next month, getting a Rebel 300 and I cant wait to go through the process. Definitely looking forward to more videos from you!
Today I crushed 90 miles of backroads! You’ll be there before you know it!!🤘🏻 good luck on your MSF and ride safely!
Thank you so much for the links for your riding gear 🙌
You're AWESOME! Way to go! Just get out there and ride!😀
Cool ride, the shadows this time if year can be hypnotizing. Thanks for the share.
Great video. Great attitude and confidence. Keep up the good work
Killing that ride. So proud of you Nina! Keep those miles going!
Thank you!!😊🤘🏻
Perfect words of wisdom of just do it! As today, pretty much the time you released this, I bought my very first motorcycle. A 2018 Honda Rebel 500! I’m beyond excited to learn and these videos just keep helping. Keep up the great work.
Oh my goodness congratulations!!!🎉🎊 that is amazing!! I’m looking into a 500 as well! Thank you for the support!! Ride safe out there🤘🏻

What an awesome feel good video!! Give us more please!!!!
Thank you so much!!😊 I’ll be filming tomorrow so expect more coming soon!! Riding season is upon us!🤘🏻
Hi Nina!!!!!!! so exciting!!!!
Right?!?🤘🏻
Found your You Tube to day, Fun and positive. You have good personality that is contagious. 😊 Yes the map on the phone is hard on the battery, bring a powerbank with a extended cord, you can charge on the fly. We learn something every day. Just keep at it, motorcycle riding is a lot of fun, the more you do it. Keep up the great work! 😊
Great video, thanks. I know exactly what you mean by 'what a blessing'. I sometimes pray when I ride, often when the scenery is amazing. Stay safe, God bless and Happy Easter!
Thank you!! Happy Easter to you as well. Ride safe🤘🏻
Awesome video keep up the good work! Keep making more I’ll watch 😊
Thank you!!😊🤘🏻
Love the sound of this little bike !
Thank you me too!!😎🤘🏻
Yaaaasss! More Komoto! Inspiring me to get my licence this year!
You got this!!🤘🏻
Just going to work on my bike fills me with joy, and I fo that almost every day...
I'm a fairly new rider as well, and I completely identified with that genuine fun laugh you have at the 6:13 mark.
That was freaking awesome. Be safe and keep having fun out there!!
Thank you so much!! It’s like pure joy lol. Ride safe out there!🤘🏻
You go gurl! Ride your bike & enjoy! 🏍️

Hey that's awesome! Rebel family for sure
Heck yeah!🤘🏻
great little adventure you shared. Wish I was riding today but bike in the shop . Ready for some warmer weather in Connecticut soon so I can get out and ride enjoy the rid. You have come so far in the last year as Burch commented. Keep it up. Peace.
Thanks for watching!! We’re just about to take advantage of a few warm days here, fingers crossed it’s here to stay! Thank you!!😎🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogs I'll keep watching you and Burch. Would love to see you ride to get tacos. Don't know why but I always enjoy that. Also I just got my bike back from the dealer. Still a bit cool in Connecticut but had a good ride home.
First time viewer, dig the cool laces.
Thank you so much! I don’t know what I’ll do when it’s time for a new helmet lol!
Thanks for taking us along for the ride! 😎
Thanks for supporting!!😎🤘🏻
Great video Nina !!! 🤙🏽
Thanks Marvin!!🤘🏻
you have come a long ways keep up the good work
Thank you!!🤘🏻
I am also new to riding and filming and I really felt the first part of this video…it can be hard when you start making videos for other people to see, I’ve been reminding myself to just have fun with it and make them for *myself*.
You have been really inspiring to me, esp as a girl, as I learn to ride! Thank you! Wish you all of the best and ride safe💜✌🏻
Always do it for yourself first!! There’s a lot of pressure involved in this sort of thing you always have to remember it’s just for fun! “Don’t let perfect get in the way of great” is what my bf Burch always tells me!! Thank you for your support and ride safe out there!!😊🤘🏻
You did a great job. You should be proud. Beautiful area you have to ride.
Thank you so much!!🤘🏻
This was an enjoyable video. My wife had a Rebel 300 but just didn't ride enough to be confident on it, so she went back to a Vespa. (which is also very cool...we both have a Vespa) That bike is really is a perfect bike all around for a newer rider. Just proves that you do not need a massive liter motorcycle to enjoy riding. I have several bikes, but my smaller bikes create the best rides. Thanks for a good ride.
Thank you!! I would love to have a Vespa! Perfect for in town riding. But you absolutely don’t need a massive bike to enjoy riding except when you’re ready for a bigger adventures!!🤘🏻
Heck yeah! What a great trip.
“Just do it” lol great words of wisdom.
Thanks Slight!! And I gotta make sure to make fun of myself every once and a while, keeps one humble😂🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogs oh absolutely.
damn dude SHES KILLIN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! happy for ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!😎🤘🏻
You have come so far since the parking lot video!!! So happy for you.
Thank you!!🤘🏻
Good for you! Truly impressive to just go and do what you want to do even if it takes you outta your comfort zone. Again; keep doing what you want to do!! It's just too easy to blow off something that's a bit uncomfortable
Awesome vid! One of the first accessories I got for my Rebel was a USB plug to keep my phone maps on. Suggest you get in the habit of "backing in" to parking spots to make it easier & safer to depart. Looking forward to your next one!
Thank you! And I have one I just have to get it installed! And yes, I am a “panic” Parker lol. I’m working on it but literally for my first ever job when I was 16, I parked on the WRONG SIDE of the street on my first day😂😂😂 this parking spot was super bumpy though so I think in this case it was better to pull in the way that I did!
Love the blue color, can't wait to get my 500 soon and go on trips just like you
Me too!! Be safe!🤘🏻
Looks like some sweet roads!
They were amazing!!
I've had luck w/ the Quad Lock wireless charger! Great chill video as always
I have it!! I just gotta install it lol!
You are another reason why I am excited to get my Honda rebel 300 in a few months I can't wait to ride and vlog❤
Heck yeah!! Good luck and ride safely!
😊 does an old man's heart good to see out enjoying your bike I come from southwest Montana we have beautiful riding up here
Montana sounds amazing! I’m ready for some more traveling!
Dayum making that rebel look huge
Way to get on the gas right out of the gate. Love it.😊
Keep up the good work
Thanks Fran!!🤘🏻
Congratulations Nina on your first solo trip. It must have been exhilarating!
You’ve come a long way. Yay! 🎊 🎉
Thank you so much!! It was such a blast!🤘🏻
Bigger bike coming . I can feel it.
Perhaps!
Yeah! You don't need no -man- 1100 to have a day trip! Good on ya!
Lmao!!😂🤘🏻
Love your Rebel
Thank you! Me too!!🤘🏻
Hah you visited my town! It's funny 'cause when I want a nice waterfront trip I head up towards north toward the capitol. Lotsa good view spots round here, I love it! Safe riding and safe vlogging!
Oh! I used to work for the guy who owns that cafe at his (now closed iirc) other fancy restaurant. Wonder if he's worth talking to about bikes if you ever see him there.
Epic ride! I think you definitely hit the flow zone on that hill after the twisties :)
Heck yeah!🤘🏻
What a relaxing video! Greetings from Spain ^^
Thank you!!🤘🏻🇪🇸
Funny to see you riding again. I remember when I found your channel through Burch. Your were more tame and careful while riding and now you are doing it with way more confidence and chill etc! 😆
It’s so funny we rode a lot today and talked about that exact thing!! My whole energy has changed around it to be more confident and “trying” in terms of speed and turning etc! It’s an amazing feeling!!🤘🏻
Bet it is! When I became interested in motorcycles and looking at dealerships to get a sense of what I like and if some heights etc were an issue. This was before I hopped on a motorcycle.
Fast forward to when I took my lessons.
I got way more comfortable at riding the bike, and the same now with my own bike. It's so fun and like you mentioned a real amazing feeling.
Supporting u from Virginia.
Thank you!!🤘🏻
You got it!!!!
Thank you!!🤘🏻
Sooooo cool !
Thank you!!🤘🏻
I live in the country and ride in areas like that and I never get tired of seeing it.
It’s amazing!! So beautiful
Nice job 👍
Thanks Bobby!!
Leaps and bounds girl! Your doing amazing.
Also very easy and inexpensive to add a charge port to your bike.
Thank you!! And yes I got the Quadlock one installed. Game changer!🤘🏻
I am in the market for a new bike. I'm retired. I traded my last road bike for a pontoon boat about 5 years ago. My only bike right now is a 200 that won't keep up with traffic sometimes. Thanks for showing us the excitement of getting somewhere you've never been. And have no other reason to be there except for the journey. You've got a long journey ahead. Enjoy the ride. New subscriber.
Well done.
Thank you!!🤘🏻
this was super cool! i never considered keeping my bike in garage lol
Well....... That was Fun !
Well…. Thanks!🤘🏻
Heck yeah!! Just waitin for this weather to warm up!!
Awesome❤
Thank you!🤘🏻
Impressive discipline on the turn signal cancel, I'm always spacing it out and flashing for a mile before noticing...
Just found your channel, fun Vid. Also a female rider that loves to ride. Keep it up and enjoy 💜👏🏼🏍
You're so adorable and fun to watch. I wish you made more content.🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much and I’m working on it! With warmer weather coming our way there should be more content soon!😊🤘🏻
I’ve watched your boyfriend on and off for years and been trying to find a female community, glad I found your channel. I started riding on a grom many years ago and got a 1987 rebel 450 back in 2021 and just last week got myself a rebel 1100. Riding is my getaway and freedom from every day life I love every minute of it
Have a good ride season! And maybe install an USB on the Rebel for your phone 🙂
Awesome video! Solo trips are fun. I haven’t had one in a while but they feel freeing! I added a usb charging port that run directly into my bikes battery. Works great for any time I need to do long commutes even commutes to work. What kind of cup holder do you have for your bike’s crash bars? It would be handy for my commutes to work. Haha
All day rides are good for the head and multi-day rides clear the soul. Something I like to do is to leave the phone in my pocket and just get lost. Also, going old school and taping the hand written directions to the tank is good to.
Looks like you had fun ! Give’r
It was a great time!!🤘🏻
It was a great time!!🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogs Greetings from BC !
Love it❤...
Thank you!🤘🏻
With all due respect, I don't have the smarts to post videos, but I love watching them.
Great video. It's just nice seeing someone genuinely happy. I'm 50 and a brand new rider, about 850 miles at this point. Thanks for the inspiration. Also, I've been looking for a tank bag. Yours looks clean. Do you recommend it?
Thank you!! And yes I genuinely love it, it’s anything I would need “wallet” wise but also a small to go container because it expands! I have the link in my bio to their website if you’re interested! (Also one time I left it on my rear rack after getting gas and it did not fly off so that’s impressive😂)
Thanks for info and the info on the link. :) @@KomotoVlogs
Nice! Finally made it down to Calvert Co. Check out South County Cafe and Happy Harbor in Deale, always a good meal. Chaneyville Rd in Owings is a good ride and part goes along the Pax River
Cosign on Happy Harbor (eat outside by the river). I miss my Calvert Co peeps here in central Ky now. Got my MC license at 71!!! Gonna go Can Am. Rally 900 maybe? Go Nina, go!!
Oooh! I’ll add this to my “must ride” list too!!
Central KY?! Where?! I’m from Bardstown and you go girl!! Way to get it!! Keep riding safe out there and if you haven’t ridden to Bardstown, go spend a day there. So historic and beautiful and make sure you eat at Mammy’s Kitchen!! (My fav)
@@KomotoVlogs thanks for the tip. I'm in Berea, right by the College. Great neighborhood.
@@beachwalk5178 I almost went to college there! Had an archery scholarship
I have been looking for a new channel about motorcycle rides. My previous channels started to become a paid commercial for Royal Enfield, Harley, Yamaha, Ect... While I enjoyed watching those segments; I wanted to watch an actual riding experienced vs a polished AD. Thanks for this channel. Becoming a dedicated fan to the channel.
At age 73, I am still riding. I just down sized from a 2018 Harley Fat Bob to a 2023 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro. I started motovlogging (using GoPros) back in 2018. Nothing fancy. My most likes on one post was 1,400 but the average is probably 34, LOL. My longest ride was in 2022. Knowing I was going to get a new motorcycle, I took a farewell ride on my Harley from Texas to the East Coast. By the way, nice video.
Quadlock charger is a must! Just installed mine
It’s the best! Today I did a very similar trip to this one and my phone is at a higher percentage than when I left the house!😂🤘🏻
That Miata tho.. >u< I've had my NB1 for 7 years now. Just recently bought my first bike! Was going to get the rebel as well but decided on a dual sport so I can hit some trails. Next bike will most likely be the 1100 :,) . You seem like such an awesome person to ride with! Ride safe !
I.m joined now from Nepal
What a great first solo trip. Hope you have many more. It is fun to ride with others, but riding solo is more freeing and you can change plans whenever you feel like it. (It is always wise to have a little protection like pepper spray when stopping in remote areas with only one vehicle around, like that Audi.)
It was so fun! I haven’t had much experience riding in groups but I have a feeling I’ll always enjoy riding with Burch or just by myself! And thank you! I do carry a form of protection with me, I appreciate your concern!!😎🤘🏻
@@KomotoVlogs Sorry for giving you "Dad" advice. 🙂
