After reading the synopsis, it all started making sense. Beautiful film. The way deserted land, water and livestock is shown reminds me of Kurosawa a lot.
Honestly, I felt like I was in the hands of Sergei Parajanov or Amit Dutta' but the film has an entirely unique perspective visually and the soundscape was a perfect blend with the landscape and the metaphor's it was trying to portray. I just have one Criticism the title's of the film felt completely out of sync with the quality of the film and the theme it threw me off a little as well. I don't know if it was an homage to anybody but it looks completely and utterly odd with the brilliance of the film it irritated me, quite frankly. Yet this film was awe-inspiring congratulations I'll be looking forward to your feature debut.
Understood that it’s related to water crisis but explain story ......! Other thing is - what is relation between first conversation in the car and next part of the story?
Hello Satindar Singh Bedi! My name is Marina Kaznina, and I’m a participant of a workshop on making an animated documentary film. This workshop takes place at «Kinoproba» Film Festival (kinoprobafest.com/) in Yekaterinburg, Russia. During the Festival we are going to make a short film about the winners of «Kinoproba»’s previous editions. We’ll write a script based on the interviews with winning directors and then animate it with puppets. You’ve got the Grand Prix of «Kinoproba» in 2015 with your film “Kamakshi” . Could you please spare a bit of your time and answer a couple of questions? I would be utterly grateful! As we are going to use the conversation’s original sound and maybe even video, it would be great to talk to you using Skype videocall, preferably at some quiet place and with your headset on (in order to get the best audio quality possible). Could you please tell me which day and time such a call would be convenient for you? And the last thing, what is your native language? Thank you! Best regards, Marina Kaznina
