What should i do to understand the deeper meaning of this video ? It's like what should i feel after watching this? I am a type of person who always appreciate rhe art....but please help me understand and feel the art of this video ?
these type of films usually allow us to interpret the dept of the film ourselves. your theory and opinion on this film might not be the same as mine and that's the beauty of it, it's subjective! it's a film where we appreciate the cinematography for how raw and real it is. for example, the wind sounds with the window scene at 3:14 reminds us of a lazy summer afternoon in our life, which gives us a sense of nostalgia! realism is surreal !
Immediately, I feel i got it. The younger lady who works for the older woman...is a bit judgemental as she feels the older lady, should eat according to her age, grow plants that flower in a particular way..etc etc. But after she meets her sailor husband/ lover...and then the older lady talks about her dream, she is shocked that she can connect because ...both the dead and live men " pehachana nahi"... that cannot really "see " or understand the women in their lives.
Static shots. A.. detached unsentimental approach that imbues with meaning, the otherwise ordinary lives. There's respect for the mysterious..the unknown.. (that plays a vital role in our lives..? but is rarely acknowledged..?) There's little place for the larger outside world for the filmmaker. (rather..a matter of indifference?) What matters.. is the silent, inner world.. with its own private suffering.. and the unanswered questions. But for sensitive artists of this kind, the ordinary..the mundane.. would easily pass unnoticed. When time hangs heavy on your shoulders.. when every day is a drag.. when the.. meaninglessness of it all, can make the routine more and more unbearable. How difficult..it is, to exist without a support.. (What a treat!)
Watch the lead Marathi actress Usha Naik's Marathi film Ek Hazarachi Note (English: 1000 Rupee Note). It is a 2014 Indian film, directed and produced by Shrihari Sathe. Great movie.
it's not even a full season and you are suggesting one will outshine the other's legacy. as a red, i wish all the success for Arne Slot but there's only one Jurgen Klopp. he made us believe.
