Thank you for that review I've had the 165 for 6 months now and I think it is brilliant I was going to get the 965 but I'm like you I just run for fun not races about the same distance but not as fast 62 years old now so it not as easy but for 5 miles it probably about 54 minutes
Thank you. I use the Garmin chest heart rate strap for all my workouts to be honest, so the wrist hear rate only monitors my daily and nightly heart rate and nothing during exercise.
The you. In a few weeks I’ll do a more in depth review once I’ve used all the features. Syncs with Strava super easy, but I didn’t buy the music version. Keep watching my channel for the next one 😎
Thanks for your feedback and glad you liked the video. Apologise if the sound was too loud, I do try and keep everything at the same output volume so I’ll look at that.
Yeah this deffo misses some of the running and wellbeing metrics the 265 and 965 have, but that’s the reality of buy in the entry level model on this range. I doubt any of the 265 or 965 metrics will find themselves landing on the 165, but who knows. I still love this watch in the short time I’ve used it though 👍🏻

Great review.
Thank you glad you liked it
Enjoyed your video. Whats the heart rate like while strength training

Great review, interested to see how it syncs with youtube music and strava.

Great insight. Just comment that the music was too loud in between talking. 😊

I have this watch with the exact same vo2 max I do wish it had other metrics that the 265 has be nice of garmin added that but doubt they will

Not good for multisport as in triathlon.
@@guytaylor7667 yes correct the 165 doesn’t offer a triathlon feature, you’d need to step up to the 265 for that 👍🏻
