    I am not Jewish but have always been intrigued and interested in Jewish traditions and practices. Hanukkah sounds fun and delicious!

      @Christine go for it! This will be my second year celebrating it as best as I could 🤷🏻‍♀️ I actually like it better than Xmas because it biblical. My husband and I have decided to celebrate biblical feast and reject worldly holidays. I love it!

      Islam beautiful religion once we celebrate it does have a sens to feed poors to feel about them How much they suffer this is have a sens Muslims they have two holy events to celebrate first holy aid al fitr after a whole month of fasting once we fast its for a reason to feel poor how much they are hungry this fasting will soften your heart second holy events sacrificing day to sacrifice a sheep by giving it to poors and eat from it and 0% racism in islam this is the true religion its objective

      @@lulucohen6889 islam its the real religion that never been changed if we take a look to a torah for ex description of god yahweh book say that allah not at all such his creation nothing that resemble to god in his shape so if we jump to another verse we see that jacob had fought with god the worst thing that jacob won god how u consider this book its true (contradictory book) so on once we read about prophet's how a prophet had a revelation from sheeting people's a prophet he supposed be a pure man cuz he had see the greatest miracles of god that's why his vision far away from a regular person who had not seen this miracles a prophet knows better how far he is powerful yahew that's why all prophet's they strictly follow allah commandments your book says that david had sex (adultery )with a his military soldier wife then he had Solomon through this woman without a marriage ceremony if a prophet do this kind of things he become not a prophet at all cuz this kind of things forbidden by god at least u if u see someone have sex with a woman that she is not his wife u will look to him such someone ignorant rude impossible something like that was made by a prophet so on ...... a lot of mistakes on your book sorry to say that because god will not made such mistakes Quran had correct all that

    These videos are great for us non-Jews. It's so important for us to see these so we can make our Jewish co-workers, friends and neighbors feel welcome during the holidays. We have only one Jewish neighbor in our neighborhood and we want to make her feel apart of the community.

    So inspirational!! After my husband died a year and a half ago I stopped decorating for everything because I couldn't see the point. But my creativity is returning and our son is 3 so I want to do it for him. And me but mostly to get him excited🙂 I'm watching all your years of decorating and I'm really pumped! Thank you.

    I remember playing with the Dreidel when i was a child, this year its just my parents and I. Maybe we will play it since we aren't going to have family and friends over. I still have my old Dreidel 💓

    I am jewish on both sides but a lot of our culture was lost when my family (great-great grandparents) came to america from germany. i still have a lot of family that is more distant that actually practices. But I am trying to bring it back into my household!

I really need them scince I always think it’s so unfair that there are so much thing to do on Christmas rather than Hanukkah now watching these I realize how there is so much to Hanukkah and I just don’t realize it.     I'm Christian...so, I'm not as fluent in Jewish celebrations... but,I wonder if they smiled, cried, prayed or celebrated or all of these...

    First time Chanukah for my family. Just recently realized my great grandparents were Jewish on both sides. They never told anyone.

      You don't have to be Jewish to celebrate hanukkah. You find Christ in Hanukkah not to mention your Savior celebrated this as well as all of God's feasts days (not Jews feasts God's Feasts)

    Wasn't it last year at Hanukkah that you fixed the beautiful annieglass bowl full of blue and silver candies? The bowl had a gilded rippled edge. I just remember all the blue and shimmering candy wrappers. It was so pretty, full of light!

      @@MyJewishMommyLife I first became familiar with Annieglass when my parents received a couple of pieces for their 50th wedding anniversary. The golden rims made them the perfect gift for the occasion. I have a few pieces. Your bowl from Hanukkah last year is my favorite of all I've seen.

      That's right! Hanukkah this year is from sundown 10.12. until sundown 18.12.

    Everyone's sad that all the festivals of light that come after Thanksgiving cannot be large gatherings and big feasts with lots of family and friends around us. But we will all have our immediate families and smaller feasts and fewer gifts 'round about and lots of Zoom contact. I wish you celebrations that are blessed for Thanksgiving, Chanukah, and the 2021 New Year. Did you ever read the wonderful book "The Great Latke - Hamantash Debate?" Recommended.
