- Keegan Murray put together one of the most productive & efficient college seasons in recent history. After a solid freshman campaign complimenting the likes of Luka Garza & Joe Wieskamp, Murray took the reigns and ran with 'em, making himself a lottery pick.

As a Sacramento kings fan I think he would fit really good with sabonis and fox. They help his strengths and cover his weaknesses and vise versa
Rockets fan here, he would be an “interesting” fit for sac. They have a lot of inside players already. An Aj griffin would be nice?
I feel like in Sacramento, he'd basically be another Harrison Barnes.
Looks like he could go to my Pacers to play with Haliburton and Myles Turner. He has a wide skill set, which is what they typically like.. Who know's, I like what I've seen so far.

Looks like the exact player the Kings should look to acquire! With them getting pick 4 at lottery they should maybe entertain trading down a spot or 2 and try to snag an extra pick or maybe even Brogdon from the Pacers.
As far as Murray’s fit in Sac I think it’s near perfect. Sabonis is the main facilitator there and opens a lot of passing/cutting lanes which Murray excels at finding. While Fox is there as their main shot creator Murray won’t have that kind of responsibility and can play to his strengths which that isnt. Sac isn’t a very good defensive team and tho new coach Mike Brown is gonna do his best to fix it bringing a great defender like Murray can make that much easier. Murray jus a straight up winning type of player which they need rn, big potential culture changer for them who I believe also has way more upside than given credited for.
This gonna be just like the Doncic-Bagley situation. Kings gonna pass up on Ivey for Murray based on fit and in less than a year its gonna look like a terrible choice.

@@Shortballa11 I agree, I think Ivey is deff the best pick, but I unfortunately don’t expect them to take him cause their gm is on expiring deal and want win now pieces to save him his job (make play in) which Keegan Murray is. Ivey is the best pick, but Murray is likely the pick, he’s not bad at all and I think he’s great player and will have good nba career, but Ivey has superstar upside

Keegan will be the pick. Tobias Harris type with potential to be a Kris Middleton type. With Portland getting the 7th pick. Trading Jeremy for that pick and picking up Mathurin or AJ or Sharpe wouldn’t be a bad idea either.

This guy is a damn good player and does a lot to help his team. I hope he goes to the right org where he can be surrounded with some more talent to allow him to thrive. I think the Pels would be a sweet fit for him as they have the personnel to allow him to settle in guarding 3/4 men in the league with no real pressure on him to be a big scorer.

I agree, but I'd bet he falls to the 6-9 range entirely because of his age. NBA GMs lean heavily toward younger players, and for good reason.

@Yung Blood that's true - assuming they are more NBA ready, they can potentially become a rotational player on a good team right away.
I'd also add that his workouts have apparently solidified him as closer to 4-6 than 6-9. The Kings sounds like they really want him, even over Ivey who is a little better IMO, if they dont trade their pick.

What’s not to like about this kid!! He has the type of game similar to Deandre Hunter with the Hawks, and that’s something most teams would want. I’m a Knicks fan, so I’d love to get a long wing like him.

Yeah that comparison to Hunter is why I don't want him. If you're picking in the 4-5 range I kinda wanna swing for the fences and take a shot at those explosive guards in Sharpe or Ivey.

If your preference is Sharpe or Ivey if there was a choice of the 3, at pick 3, 4 or 5, then you are entitled to your opinion of course. As I stated, I’m a Knicks fan, picking 11th, with no shot of picking any of those players, or of any of them being available when we pick. With that said, I’m looking at drafting with pick 11, Daniels, Sochan, Eason or Davis. Pretty much in that order were they to be available when we pick👍🏾

It's okay if he doesn't improve his half court creation, he has elite cutting/off the ball movement coz in NBA he has a guard or system to create for him. He is a decent playmaker which is enough in NBA and will improve his defensive judgement as his career goes on.

If Orlando falls outside the top 3, I would love for them to take him. He fits perfect next to Franz and Wendell. All 3 can shoot, defend, handle a little and get buckets.
I love his professionalism. I appreciate the fact that he went to a prep school to hone his skills. To me that shows how serious he is, how ready he is for the NBA and how much Star Potential he actually has. I’m a huge fan.

Wouldn't say he has a higher ceiling but yea I think Keegan Murray has star potential. The Otto Porter Jr comp is not fair to him, otto porter wasn't scoring at this level when he was at Georgetown.

@@hart63 Maybe a great combination of the two. Barnes’ offense with Harkless’ defense would be amazing. Considering he is playing on a bench that has a dynamic playmaker in Davion Mitchell he should find plenty of scoring opportunities in this offense while bringing some defensive versatility.

I see Michael Beasley but with a better jumpshot and more importantly Tim Duncan's character and mental makeup. Star in the making. Stats don't lie either. He had the 2nd most efficient CBB season ever recorded (PER) and when you look at the top 10 names none really shot the 3, so their efficiency is a bit misleading. Keegan attempted 4.7 3s per game at 40%!
