Thanks for the videos! The seas appear to come from two directions, somewhat canceling each other out along the centerline. I've never seen that in a bar entrance. Impressive 😮

Old mates done that a few times, picked his time perfect to get over the bar and into the entrance during the lull between sets.

@@ipirrie6734 I don't know if the design of the hull is well suited to hitting at higher speeds. A displacement hull with little power. I don't know, do you have any experience - I don't.

@@scottbruns5142 many years, I dare say the skipper would know his boat and the area so would know what he was doing. It just looked like at times he needed to give it more. Sometimes speed can be your friend. There wasn't much prop wash or exhaust fumes so he was definitely taking it easy.

Yep there’s been a few deaths over the years. Last one was in 2013 boat capsised one died been many more at sea as well.
