If you don't mind travelling a little further out, Blackburn and Burnley are not too far. Burnley has the fabulous Immanuels. Worth a trip, and Minerva is up that way.

Love the red floral print, so fun! You probably already made your tuxedo-inspired shirt dress by now, but you may enjoy checking out the Recital Blouse pattern by Liesl and Co. It has those pintucks and her instructions are always stellar. The pieces are also interchangeable with the Liesl and Co Classic shirt so you get many options with both. Thanks for sharing!

Love watching your fabric haul videos and seeing what you want to make with them! Because of your videos I went to Walthamstow market and Woolcrest fabrics near London fields. Please make a video of your favourite shops in Manchester
Try Leon's Fabric Store on Barlow Moor Road (Chorlton-ish), The parking lot is quite small. (Ah. I posted before it was mentioned)
Also, don't forget the local markets (Bury, Longsight) who have fabric stalls.

Not Manchester, but not TOO far Waltons near Huddersfield. Huge selection, very good for wools lots of roll ends from higher end shops Hobbs stuff is there quite frequently.

Longsight market is quite good! A bit of a mishmash so not the best place if you are looking for something specific but there are quite a lot of nice prints as well as lots with embroidery and beading. But agreed considering Manchester’s nickname is Cottonopolis there aren’t a lot of places to buy fabric.x

I've always had problems sewing stretch fabrics how do you sew yours, do you use a combination of the sewing machine and the server or the serger only.
Aysha you have to follow my rule. Make 10 things before you buy more fabric or you will end up drowning in fabric. No more space to store. LOL
I think I’m well past that stage… I’m fully addicted but I am trying to curb my buying habits. I do have a lot of projects coming up though, so will try not to buy anymore till I’ve at least completed a few of them. #Ineedhelp
When you think that Manchester was the place where all fabric was made years ago and they had big warehouses where it was made and shipped to the rest of the world it’s amazing that there are not many fabric shops left. Where I live in Australia we have sections of department stores called “Manchester”. Where you would buy anything fabric like sheets, towels etc. such a crying shame I think.
I think you’ll struggle to buy the Vikisews patterns with the ban on financial transactions with Russia. I hope you got it before that!
Yes , i wanted to buy a couple of patterns and no transaction would go through ( no PayPal , no Visa and no Mastercard ) .
I bought it as soon as it came out so I'm ok. But I do wonder how this will work for them going forward.
