It's not horror but the lore of this game are kinds dark,from government experiment to a innocent territory with many people lives in there,they create some of red fog that infect people to be some kind of brainless things that are always hungry for flesh and has no brain or we can call them infected,there are 3 types of the infect the regular,crawler,and also the one that mutated to a red flesh entity that has a appearance of tall,crawl and has a vertical mouth,there are many faction in this game,it include survivors (friendly faction),bandit (hostile faction who killed everyone they saw),militia(neutral but they're enemy of law enforcement called doyla),corrupt police and corrupt military (hostile faction who pretend to be a law enforcement unit but they're actually a another bandit who kill everyone they saw),doyla (a law enforcement police unit who clear some area from the infected) There are many variety of guns in this game
