- The Art of Siamese Grappling, is regarded by many experts as one of the secrets of the technical background of Thai Martial Arts. Therefore, most of the traditional grappling strategies and maneuvers are kept hidden by knowledgeable Masters, today as in the past.
A small part of the techniques of ancient Siamese Grappling Muay Pram) are implemented in these times by skillful thai boxers whenever they fight in the ring. The best thai boxers are exceptional strikers as well as formidable stand up grapplers. Smartly combining a vast arsenal of holds with upper and lower limbs strikes and with powerful throws, this simplified version of ancient Siamese Grappling proved to be one of the strongest tools in the hands of skillful ring fighters.
Kod Rad Fad Wiang means Hold Bind Incline Hurl: learning these fundamental aspects of grappling is a pre-requisite to start discovering the advanced strategies of the art of Muay Pram (martial applications). Modern Muay Thai’s grappling strategies and techniques are borrowed from Kod Rad Fad Wiang: the ability to apply holds, unbalances, throws and strikes (mostly knee kicks) at close range, are the skills that every Nak Muay must possess to fight on the ring, nowadays.

Muay Boran and the Kung Fu style called Hung Sing Choy Lee Fut are very very similar combat wise.
This video is beautiful. Our Grand Master Marco De Cesaris is a true expert and a strong warrior who has dedicated his life to the study of this martial art in the best way. These videos, along with his other works are inexhaustible sources of knowledge that any real fighter with warrior blood flowing inside should learn. I sincerely think that the world needs to wake up, take courage and learn the sacred Thai martial arts. Because this is a world of weak people who cannot fight for themselves or for what they believe in. Thanks to all you do, Masters, the world will improve more and more in the aspect of this noble cause.

The teachers at IMBA/Muay Boran at Flaminia 7 in Rome (ITA) have had a bullying attitude towards me many times.
On 20 July 2022, I was verbally attacked by the female teacher (teacher is a big word) in the reception area of the Flaminia 7.
Her attitude was not a one-off: she's been rude/hostile to me many times, even on the Costacciaro campus.
She never apologised, she got on the mat and acted as if nothing had happened, smiling and joking with the students whilst 10 min earlier she screamed at me while the scared receptionist was watching the whole scene. This attitude comments on itself and their professionalism.
A week after the bully teacher/"maestro/a", removed me from the X° Khan whatsApp group, defamed me with the grand master(GM) which caused my exclusion from the IMBA course. This shameful action is called "RETALIATION": this happens if you report their misconduct.
The funny thing is, the GM has known me for many years, I trained at Flaminia 7 when I was young, however he preferred that way instead of causing embarrassment for himself and his assistant.
I am very passionate about martial arts and l got along well with my training mates: this female teacher targeted me because "I'm a good guy", she was jealous (so classic!) - so she took advantage of the role she held to bully me as she knew I would never fight back!
Bullying behaviour from IMBA, but last July 2022,in Rome they crossed the line.
-I strongly disagreed with the exam process when I upgraded to X° Khan, the equivalent of a black belt.
When I did my black belt exam in ju-jitsu l was examined alone: while in IMBA exam we were 10 participants in a row. Each of us paid 30 euros and the exam lasted ten minutes only: if you pay such money, you should be examined alone, especially for a high-grade exam - this is not serious nor professional at all. Also, I asked that teacher by email to provide me with receipts of my payments: never received a response.
I have invested a lot of my time and spent a lot of money on IMBA: flight tickets/hotels/hostels (l live in UK), I bought many of their books/manuals, attended and paid for all their seminars regularly. l WAS A LOYAL MEMBER, they have appealing video but the GM and his assistant were the worst ever with me.
I DO NOT WISH TO ANYBODY THE WAY THEY TREATED ME: IMBA has been the most delusional negative experience of my life.
