I really appreciate the 2022 cases too. Although,I really liked some of the summer 2020 cases too .For instance, the pigeon with the camera was a pretty good cosmetic for the spy
The only class I've seen so far IMHO that KINDA got the short end of the cosmetic stick was Medic.
Ok now here me out, I'd rather have nice looking cosmetics and bad unusuals over a case with bad hats and good unusuals.

If any class would get the Zenigata set, it would had to have been the Soldier. I don't see it fitting on anyone else.
Zenigata rocket-jumping in is perfectly in character for him.
The pyro cosmetic is a Gi used in Karate, so "karategi" is probably pronounced as Karate-Gi. Just a guess.
Not to mention that it pairs really well with the Street Fighter hair from one of the previous summer casses.

5:37 I think the DV is elite just due to how complex it is. Every class has a different variant under the 3 categories, Elite, Commando, and Civilian.

“The Chaser” and “The Detective” are both nods to Zenigata from Lupin the Third, really cool to see him in TF2 lol
when it comes to the grades of cosmetics from what I can observe it seems like the higher grade cosmetics are usually the more silly/goofy/stand out cosmetics. So valve likes them but they don't want them to be too common since they are more out of place in TF2. Though they also want to have some of the cooler cosmetics to be high grade as well, those are the chase items (like the pyro shirt that was added) of the case. its what a lot of folks really want so it encourages unboxing more so they can get it. As for the lower grade cosmetics yeah those ones are usually the ones that are more fitting to TF2's art direction, they don't stand out as much but they fit their respective classes well and just look nice in general. So those are lower grade because valve wants them to be more common

Demoman uses explosives? Mash a big fucking bomb on his head
And the real problem is that they aren't even halloween items so is not like they are trying to fit into the wackiness of screm fortress they are just a desesperate attempt at getting something that we have already seen a thousand times in the game maybe fuled by some egocentric desire or ambition
Don't get me wrong i know making items and specially ones that actually have effort put on them is hard as fuck but tf2 has got enough of ridiculous crap that looks all the same and i believe this year's summer case has shown that theres stuff out there that is worth to be in the game and gives a nice turn of tables outside of what normally gets added into the game
The Detective hat along with the Chaser are based off of Inspector Zenigata from Lupin the Third. Which I think is perfect for Soldier, but even without the Detective, the Chaser is a pretty sick cosmetic. And I would say the Squatter’s Right is a good cosmetic, although I would have like it if it was for the Scout, Soldier, Demoman, Sniper and I guess Engineer.
Also, its a shame that you didn’t got the Medic’s cosmetics.

Honestly, this Crate is pretty good this season compared to the last one. The smissmas crate only really had 2-3 good cosmetics with too many Christmas unusuals
My favorite thing about this crate is that it isn't bad. even just that is such a good feeling of hope. a feeling of change for the better.
this is the most hopeful for tf2 I’ve felt for a while, valve actually removed the bots (even if only temporarily) and we are commonly getting patches.

that jacket could be paired pretty well with the undercover operator (solid snake's bandana for spy)
The chaser looks like it will go so well with the stalhelm which is one of my favorite soldier cosmetics

No joke, I got my first ever unusual from the first crate I opened which was the summer 2022 crate. It was an unusual detective which goes for 40$

Ok, I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the Chaser and Detective are meant to be references to Lupin III's Detective which is why it's on Soldier.
I was about to say the same thing yep that dumbass detective that is horrible at his job would fit perfectly with the soldier wearing it

Kazan Karategi. "Gi" is a martial art uniform so its just specified as karate gi and kazan means volcano in Japanese, Makes me love it even more.
The two I would really like to get would be the two for Medic: the Soda Cap and the Fizzy Pharmacist. Not only is Medic probably my most played class, but I have also been learning to make my own sodas IRL.
I like the ranking system atm because it makes all of the actually good cosmetics dirt cheap atm.

I did a 50 unboxing and it was hilarious I watched as the boxes skyrocketing in price and the servers literally crashing every 6 mins, I opened them though and got almost every cosmetic, 1 unusual, 8 stranges, the funny frog, and the bravo six going dark in strange, It was awesome and it's my first unboxing
Congrats on the unusual! Unboxed 12 crates myself the day after they dropped and I got the same hat you did with dead presidents on my 5th crate and on the last one I got a strange unusual lawnmaker with the yellow fireworks effect! Was super exciting

i recently opened 30 summer 2022 crates and got 3 unusuals a taunt unusualfier for the second rate scorcery the effect was fountian of delight then 2 hats an unusual throttlehead with startrance and a undercover brolly with the effect contagious eruption

i think this crate has some pretty good items, and the unusual effects are really cool. especially that forest-y nighttime(?) one

The funny thing is i'm just collecting these crates until i'll actually have the money to unbox them, that way when the next actual decent update comes out i can just unbox them.
When I came back to tf2, the only time I encountered bots was on a game of thunder mountain. But we found out that if we called them a bot they would immediately say I'm not a bot. Soo we whittled them out
