Nice there’s a Cubs sickle mower coming up for auction soon. If I can get it for cheap. I’m gonna try putting it on a John Deere 420 lawnmower I think I can do it.
I hope that little camera Gal gets a big raise for her excellent camera work or at least an extra helping of that Peach Cobbler 😏👍👏 Awesome piece of equipment….would be out there for hours with a weed whacker…..like it was designed for the job…..Nice!! 👍👏🇺🇸 Rick PS: you sure have a piece of Heaven Right there…….beautiful !!!
I know it!!! She is doing a great job-they are such great workers and helpers…couldn’t make it without them!! I sure appreciate all of you kind encouragement all of the time, hope you have a great day!
You can't beat a belly mounted Farmall sickle bar mower for cleaning up around a pond, side ditches, creek banks, the side of the road ect. That one works exactly like the one for Grandpa's Cub I used to use. Last week you talked about the differences in a 140 and a Cub. How do you like a Super A. I've never used one unlike the other 2.
I really like super A’s…I guess a Super A was the first tractor I ever remember riding! The 140 is a little more refined- easier to steer, FAST HITCH, nicer seat available, little more power, ect…. The Super A just has a big place in my history I guess.
Is that "Mr. Edwards" from Little House on the Prairie?????? I love your setup. I use a lawnmower hang off a boom arm on my tractor bucket. There is a video on my channel. I like your set up much better.
@@aroundtheshop9615 It is a very slow process. The chains allow the mower to conform to the ground. The ground is not smooth and the bogs are hard to mow. If I was not so anal, I could just hover over it and get it done in a couple of passed. I want it short and so it take longer. Thanks for watching.
What a treat. I love watching grass fall over the top of a sickle bar.
That is a wonderful sight isn’t it!!!

That mention of peach cobbler sounds wonderful!!
great stuff. how does the cub22 do on a slope/ side of a ravine?
As long as the bar is flat, all is ok…it doesn’t like going up or down from flat!
The highway mower does great at angles though!
