"Every Journey Is Beautiful" -Melanie F. This made me cry because sometimes I have thoughts that my journey of motherhood did not happen as I dreamt that it would have. I have never heard those words before and I am so thankful to Melanie for speaking them to all mothers.
I wish I would have had this insight and/or this type of friendship or motherhood club 29 years ago. Definitely see the beauty of these discussions. Thanks for another great video!
Gimme more. Love to see it. V. Isolated, 26, first of my friends to have children. I have 2, 4 and 6 months. I'm a creative but on leave... project pending but trying to be present with children. Homeschooling... the list goes on. I need of this sisterhood. Thank u ladies
Ok so, I need these episodes to be 2 hrs long because I was NOT DONE absorbing all of the greatness when Codie said "That's the Mama's Den!" I was like 😲 "No Wait!!" 😥 LOL 😄 Seriously, this is a GREAT podcast. I and my husband are currently 26 weeks pregnant with our 1st child at the age of 40 and your encouragement is unparalleled... I will definitely be tuning in for every episode. Thank you for this. Be blessed. ❤👌🏾
Im truly thankful to have found this video. I’ve been a single mom of 5 for the last few years and I wish I had a community like this. I’m in the process of creating it. But I was pregnant 3 yrs in a row. My oldest is about to be 8. My first set of twins are 7 and my second set will be 6. Every mother especially black mothers need a community. I’m excited to watch more videos to learn from you in how I can build a community like this. I appreciate you. I love black love too and I’m thankful to have it.
I truly needed this this morning! I am ok and I’m not alone! The way I’m doing it is right of it works for me it doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s journey to be correct for me and mine! I am single and think about the fact I’ve never been married, but that does not matter! Thanks ladies this helped a lot! I AM DOING AN AWESOME JOB!!!💜
Shout out to the moms of newborns on the panel who stepped out their house! Between c-section recovery and breastfeeding I couldn't step out for 4-6 months. I'm for these Mom conversations.
This was AWESOME! I'm going to gather the ladies in my circle and we're gonna have a conversation about our journeys in motherhood. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely in love already! I’m a mama of one little boy and yessss it is a journey! Thanks for being so outspoken and detailed with all your journeys! It’s amazing to hear different stories .. just keeps me at peace, and high key cried like about 5x but we not gonna talk about that 🥹😂
I'm just a fly on the wall since I'm not a mother. Awesome talk. I love Melanie Fiona, she has a beautiful voice. Congratulations to the two Mama's on the new babies 💘💘💞
I really enjoyed this podcast. This is content that I've been searching for. I remember going through postpartum with my third child. She was my first daughter and I just really needed somebody to talk to to see how they felt when they added kids to the children they already had and I really didn't have anybody to talk to. This is a great show! Thank you ladies!
I was just thinking to myself the other day that I feel sad because I don’t remember much of my daughter throughout her whole first year. She’s 2 now but I went thru ppd plus a whole pandemic. So I’m giving myself some grace. And thank God for technology and the ability to take pictures lol.
I love this episode it resignates with me some much. My daughter's are 5 years apart and I was a mess the second time around because i was this time married,so much had changed from the milk to the price of everything and i was hard on me not realizing how my oldest was paying so much attention to even the difference in how i parented and handled things. We moms are rockstars and God gave us this body to bare them and discipline to love ans put them first yet we gotta love us and encourage each other to stay strong and take a break at times.
This is so cool! I had my last child at 40! When I tell you that it was beautifully rough! I am blessed to say I did have a village. Some have passed on, but I was blessed to have them!
It's great to say there is no right path and I'm glad it work out for the lady but having children out of wedlock or in a one person home is way way harder and we need to get away from that mentality it's not serving us as a community.

Motherhood is literally living, learning and loving throught the experience. It's all in the moments where you're figuring all the shit out
