I know someone who is a pachinko collector, who has bought machines up to $5k due to rarity and shipping. These machines are a nightmare to store, play and maintain. The automatic ball feeder recycler are usually missing or removed, as the entertainment part is usually what is sold. They come with no instructions or any maintenance papers, as when the machine is being sold, it is only when they're being phased out. They're usually huge, heavy, super loud in operation and can be a mess, especially with even a catch mechanism being gone. The fact she bought it anyways, congrats to her. Hope she can lift it.
to be fair, iirc the pachinko machine for MGS3 is actually a pachislot machine, not a full one mechanical one with the mechanical parts, so it shouldn't be nearly as awful to maintain. feel free to correct me though if there was an actual machine with trays and balls and whatnot.

Especially considering that's basically the only place you can see those versions of the scenes because rips of them are really hard to come by, and most are just someone pointing a camera at a machine anyway.

If you start with MGS3 you wouldnt know who octacon is, or raiden, or Colonel, or snake, I mean really you should just play the games in Release order, even if MGS1 might be dated for some people, playing them all is very worth it when it all comes together
It depends, if you go chronological order you still have a complete and fitting story it just depends if you prefer the callbacks that you get by going in release order or do you prefer the foreshadowing of going in chronological order
