A camp by a beautiful lake in Snowdonia with my son Daniel and daughter Lesley-Ann. We survived the winds from Storm Malik and woke to a beautiful sunrise.

Thanks Adge, sadly Long Covid has taken its toll on me, normally this would have been a doddle but nowadays it’s a bit of a battle but I remain ever the optimist. We do enjoy each other’s company but unfortunately these outings are quite rare. Not often all three of us can get together so I cherish every moment that we do. It’s only ever going to be used for me and my dog so the Nallo 2 suited me. Plus it’s lighter and a smaller pack size. For the camping I do a Black label tent is overkill.
Wow fair play to Lesley for getting in the bivy not many would this time of year. That food looked epic from you both wish i could be bothered to cook when out, i did get the soto windmaster and it holds my gsi pinnacle frying pan great so might have a go one day. Great upload again Mark atb Steve
The Nallo 2 is an amazing tent, I used it on my trip to the Arctic in the winter (see vid) its as solid as you like with lots of room. This lake is Ffynnon Llugwy Reservoir. A beautiful spot.

Took early retirement and moved to Snowdonia five years ago. Spent the first three years renovating an old cottage and now have the time to appreciate the majestic beauty of the area rain or shine. Glad you enjoyed the wild camping experience.
As a young squaddie I spent a lot of time training in that area and it's never left my soul even after all these years. It's a beautiful place. Enjoy life in your cottage my friend and reap the rewards every day! Thanks for watching, really appreciate it. 👍

For a 4 season tent, what made you choose the nallo 2 over the nammatj 2 ?
