Hi guys! I hate to re-upload the old videos but I think it’s nice to listen entire movements together as I recorded 2nd movement recently. I hope you enjoy it!
The magical and mysterious key of C sharp minor... my favorite key in fact. Moonlight sonata is one of those pieces that are timeless. Very beautiful and challenging. Then again, phenomenal emotion and playing!
@@FranzLisztOfficial maybe not insanely hard to play, but it still is very difficult for advanced players. Also it's not always about how hard it is, if you know what I'm saying
How could someone dislike such talent! Outrageous! I was going to do my usual "0 dislikes, 100% like rate" comment, when I saw your vid already got a dislike! I didn't think it possible for someone to dislike such beautiful music and incredible talent.
I'll tell you why; either it's jealous incels who have no talent or people who played this piece for something special, had a flawless performance, but then messed up the final chord and got mad.
Absolutely overwhelming performance, directly to the soul. The best of the best. Thank you so much. I am a pianist also and the level of performance is so impeccable... I respect it a lot.
Unlike the Pathetique sonata in which the 2nd and 3rd movements scarcely live up to the symphonic pretensions of the first, the moonlight sonata escalates from first note to to last. Beginning with Beethoven’s unquestionably best loved and most abused melody, the opening adagio resolves into the tantalisingly ambivalent key of D flat major which constitutes the 2nd movement, and in turn this fragile and autumnal allegretto disappears within that flash flood of a concluding presto. This movement crystallises the sentiments of the first two, confirming an emotional climate both flexible and assured. It’s one of Beethoven’s most imaginative finales, and helps put the Moonlight sonata deservedly high on the late 18th century hit parade.
@@shadowjuan2 in the first movement of the Pathetique sonata, the writing is very much orchestral. it's not natively pianistic as theres a clear sense of instrumental texture. the grave C minor chord at the start of the first movement is clearly imitating brass for instance....
@@shadowjuan2 sometimes l really do wonder why people go into such minute detail. I just want to listen and enjoy. With Traum you know you're going to enjoy !!
Of all the pianists I've listened to, you are the best at bringing the most out of this piece, especially 2nd movement, that 3rd movement was absolutly world class.
Everyone’s talking about random stuff and ignore how wonderfully executed the 2nd movement was. Excellent work, once again. I truly cannot wait until you hit 1,000,000. Keeping this work up surely you will soon.
One of the small things I've grow to love about watching you play, is that fist shake after a lot of your performances! It's just so humble to see when you do it. Like you know you CAN do these songs, but everytime you do them successfully, you're still so proud. c:
I love the Complex of the 3th Movement, Is so impatient, furious. And 1th sound like a lament of one who is done with his life. Wonderful Interpretation Traum 🙏
I was just chilling listening to this from the beginning, all normal, and then all of a sudden the third movement really shocked me, I hadn't ever heard it performed that fast!
I was in the middle of practicing the same piece, no joke. This same type of coincidence already happened with another Beethoven sonata that you posted, which is really freaky.
OK. I also play the 1st movement in 6 mins 25seconds . I think that's where the similarity ends ! (I haven't played for 6months ! Too much to do and l'm supposedly retired!)
