Hey Jim, where did you get your bush pots? I saw what looked like the VERY same pot on an old Ray Mears video. Just curious. I'd love to buy a couple if they're available. I've been watching you since your Hess River expedition up in the Yukon. That's where I first saw this bush pot you use. Do you remember where you got it?
Jim, your videos bring me such peace and contentment. I love watching you and your brother adventure in the wild with none of the distractions of civilization. Cheers brother.
"Coffee the last drug we have"; hilarious. To sad that there is no powdered bourbon to take along, what a treat that would make!!! Amazing trip, thanks for taking me along! And everybody else too :). Charlie
How true for us old people. This is a great adventure for any age. You can go on a trip through an adventure tour group. A friend worked for one and said they have taken people in their late 70ies. Some have had knee, hip and back surgery. The guides did the heavy lifting. Look at raft tips they tend to be less strenuous.
Incomprehensibly beautiful nature ..I can imagine how you enjoyed, me and my love your pranks about singing some song and make a comedy out of it. Thx buddy for great video, you need to come to Alberta paradise .Greetings from Tonchy S. Hunter & outdoors man .Keep going 👍🍁🌿🦌🐺🐻🍁✌
Thanks a lot and I have a couple vids up here from Alberta. Me and my wife walked from Jasper to Grande Cache in 8 days. I caught cutthroat and Bull Trout along the way. It was very challenging but extremely rewarding. Here are the links to ep 1 and ep 2 th-cam.com/video/lBN1gL53USM/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/i6s7cnTKLGo/w-d-xo.html
Another superb episode big fella, I've paddled with seals 40kms inland here in the UK but 238kms, wow, and they had to swim against those rapids...mother nature is incredible.
I really look forward to your update on your adventure in northern Manitoba. That sunset on a glassy lake was so spectacular. Thanks for sharing and continue safely in your journey.
Hey guys you've done it again beautiful Lake , the fish wow everything looks beautiful thanks for bringing us along may the Lord be the center of your family be safe God bless🙏🙏.
Boys boys boys, that looks like a killer spot, and the sunset the night before was epic. Never had any grayling . Wish I was paddling beside you guys, lord I’m jealous. Anyway paddle hard, paddle fast & paddle on…
Your videos have taken me to places in our beautiful country that I know , for most, I will never see myself. Your videos are exactly what I need right now with all the going’s on in our country as of late. A beautiful, peaceful escape. Thank you for sharing with us all.
So glad you guys took some time to just explore & enjoy your beautiful surroundings. You are always on the go, so it's really good to budget out some of your time to just enjoy where you are ❤😊
@@JimBairdAdventurer It definitely was!!! Time well spent with good buddies and great memories. Can't wait to see more of the adventures you have!!! And from now on I am breading my fish by that dance.....it's the only way now...🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks guys - another awesome video of this series. As I have said before, these episodes stick with me for weeks after watching - they’re that well done. Everything from scenery shots and commentary to singing and cooking are a joy to watch - can’t believe how beautifully rugged this area is. I felt so bad hearing your last shots of rum leaked out lol - Thank you and cheers, Ed
Loved the song and dance from Ted! I enjoy Jim's voyager and made-up songs also. Been watching Ted and Jim for a long time and on ALL those portages I can't help but think "Better you than me!" And the BUGS! Jesus, Mary & Joseph! I would've run screaming (to anywhere) long ago. Don't know how you do it, but please carry on, wicked fun to watch.
I love your long episodes. Please drop more of them. I suffer from insomnia. I watch your long episodes over and again to help me sleep. Your videos take me back to growing up in Northern Minnesota.
Thanks! And glad I can help. N. MN is thst rugged Canadian shield country with so many lakes. Very similar to where I live and much of Canada for that matter
I love watching both you and Ted on adventures though I don't always get to comment. You see scenery that I only dream about. That pike sure cooked up nicely. 👍
Dude that video had everything. The scenery was great with all the blooming labrador tea at the first campsite and then the drone footage of that epic esker... wow. What a neat trip.
As with other viewers, I love living adventures vicariously through you! You bring the trip alive to us through your videography and narrative. The wilderness in Canada is a treasure, for sure! The publication of your vids is a highlight, whether I’ve commented or not. Just love each one!
Only bugs biting today are from my flea-bag doggie. Bugs on your trip are beyond belief, must be very hard to adapt! But all that great fishing, Hell Yea!!
Another great episode Jim. Loving this trip. I have watched many other paddlers videos doing what you guys do, and your episodes are far better than the others. Keep up this quality work and your viewership will continue to grow. Have you guys ever stayed at Hap Wilson and his wife’s Lodge?
Loved the 1st camp site and sun set. Just beautiful. The seals were really cool. The 2nd camp site was even better! I think a big foot decorated that esker with rocks but i didn't see any footprints. Gotta go cook a fish now after watching you eat them. I can't stop watching the freeom convoy. Good to quit seeing a city an go back to my favorite. Nature!!! FREEDOM
Very nice! When you said it was going to get worse ahead I couldn't imagine how, the flooding was super scary in the beginning. Creeped me out knowing you almost didn't have anywhere to go but then you found land-ho. The last few campsites must've seemed like paradise in comparison.
They really did! The Seal is truly a massive river and there is a lot more to come including some very impressive water with the very high water we had in this trip.
Beautiful scenery awesome footage your blessed to see the seals in their natural habitat id love that , then to be able to catch the greyling how nice , Epic Esker that huge pile of caribou antler,s was a cool find so interesting indeed and the views gorgeous from the top . This had to be one of the best parts of the series
Excellent Ep. 16! Those esker campsites are so nice, the view from the last one was wonderful! Too cool being greeted by the seals at the mouth of Seal River. I am looking forward to seeing more of the river, thanks for sharing. :) :)
So beautiful! You have some amazing footage here. I loved those shots of that gorgeous sunset. I will have to remember the secret ingredients to cooking great fish, Shake and Twist😆
