@@BeingDaphne I was on a mission to sell so I could pay for Egypt. I coulda just not spent as much and that would have worked too but ya know......choices
I don't buy a lot of physical books, but I do have KU and Storytel that I pay for every month. I added up the physical books I bought and the subscriptions, + the credits I bought for Audible with BF deal. Grand total is $388. I'm proud I did not overspend this year, but I sure was tempted 😅
Oh wow, this was very interesting. I'd like to track my book spending next year after watching this. I think I have probably saved over £300 this year by using my library for audiobooks! 🤑
I did a low spend year and I only allowed preorders, I still spent £111.43 on choices made by me of the past 😺 I’m just aiming to spend less next year 💕
Hands down - I think I spend more than you on books bc I’m very frivolous with my book budget. I’m gonna do this with my 2024 purchases and I’m SCARED to see the total….
I am keeping track next year of what I am spending on books, and I am not gonna lie, I am slightly scared. Question though. Does this include books bought on gift cards that were gifted to you? Trying to decide if that is going to be in my total or not.
@taratalksbooks yes, I subbed to fairyloot ilumicrate and owlcrate at various points this year and included those costs. Some months I skipped a lot so it wasn't too bad. I just made a note of what the box cost when I got the invoice or saw my cc had been charged
@pardonthisbookaddict I enjoyed it for not knowing anything about it. A few times I thought, "does this sentence need to be sung" I got teary once but didn't cry like a lot of people. I'll go see part 2
The Pango profit is impressive!

Pango has been a huge game changer for me!
@@ReadingwithRylanne I've earned more from selling on there than when I take my books to the used bookstore

I definitely spent more and I definitely need to track next year 😬

@FirstLadyReads no I didn't count gifts or giftcards, that wasn't my money spent lol
@ that is how I was thinking of it but I was just double checking
This was interesting to see! I was curious; Did you include your book subscriptions if you have them? 💸

@BecxReadz Okay, thanks! I am thinking about tracking my book spending in 2025. 🙂
My list for books I want to buy after my next payday is already $100-something 😂
@careottjuice I don't even ever know what I want to spend my money on
I have not but I think I should try it next year in 2025 bc IDK how much I spent on books.
