Finally, I found the channel that I am into it. I love to read books by well-known people who contributed a lot. By reading their novel, I gained an enormous amount of words. Then I write an overview of it. Moreover, summarize the story. I developed an English language. Thank you for your service.

I agree with the other comments saying that this interview is BY FAR the best in terms of thoughtful questions being asked. what stood out to me was the question about the backgrounds of julia's parents. reading the book I could relate to the soulwrenching pain caused by parental (emotional) neglect and I tend to curse on my own parents as I would on her's for being such d***heads. and I know that I forget a lot of the time that my parents had it bad, too, when they were little. otherwise, they would not have failed so often as my caregivers. but what I was feeling as a child (and still nowadays) is that they withheld the things I needed as a form of punishment. it's kinda relieving to turn around the perspective and look at it like people cannot give you what they themselves never had, they cannot teach what they don't know. so I appreciate you asking that question specifically, to generate some context for how trauma is oftentimes somewhat generational and that we can end this cycle by becoming conscious of that.

I do think a unique aspect of the book is the theme of close female friendships , and I think the way she described abusive relationships and her own self inflicted enablement to continue w these men was very honest and a necessary narrative for women readers who have been there before . But honestly I think she could have written more about work ethic , on the final page where she concludes with the inspirational moral that even a weird girl like her succeed seems a bit tone deaf considering the very rare and lucky ways she made her money and was then privileged enough to make social connections at clubs /parties ect . Additionally it also bothered me that she boasts about not signing the nda with Kanye but other than learning he’s a bit of a love bomber I can’t say I’m too surprised by any of the behavior she wrote about in the book . Overall though I’m happy I bought and read the book and supported her , because it’s true often woman’s work is minimized and ridiculed and this book for me stands as a symbol for reclaiming what we woman want to celebrate .

I feel like Ashley is really dissatisfied with how the interview started. Clare made it sound a touch unprofessional that they’d just finished the book an hour before Fox walked in, and then Ashley tries to recover it and ends up asking a question Fox has “been hearing a lot” - so quite a weak opening as the next Barbara Walters of this generation. But.. keep at it.
