I too make clothes thinking about how I want them to move when I wear them . I liked seeing you draw out your plan as you talked it through. Also thank you for showing how it wasn't a straight line from plan to finished garment. I love that the trial and error is in construction and not in trying on many different garments in a store.
Lovely skirt! I just finished a very efficient fabric skirt also in wool which I’m very happy with (inspired by your walking skirt but adjusted to be a more modern half circle skirt with pleats XD ) and swooshy skirts are definitely the best!
I imagine you in a little historic village where everyone is making their own clothing. Do you live in a large city and just dress in a history-bounding way?
That is some A+ cut planning.
The skirt looks so nice and comfy!
It is very comfy! I love it! 🥰

Yeah, it never is a straight line from A to B in this house. 😅

Ah, I’m so happy it inspired you! And I have to agree. A good swoosh is just so happiness-inducing!
Gosh the construction of this looks so effortless in your hands even with the minor mistakes you encountered haha what a beautiful end result :D
Haha, thanks! Efforts might appear lighter in the video than in reality. 😂
I love your pattern drawing technique!
Thank you! I do so love trying to reduce waste when I create things.
That looks soooo cozy!
It is my new favourite skirt! 😁
@@KristineVike I love it when a project turns out to be an immediate wardrobe essential. So gratifying.
As always, I love this.
Yay, thank you! 🥰
Love it!
