Didn’t like falling, don’t enjoy watching it. When you’re younger you can still cope with it, but that doesn’t justify providing the opportunity for it for viewer consumption.
@@geoffbickford This is so dumb, it hurts. By this logic, Gravel racing, MTB, Cyclocross should all be forbidden. Maybe educate yourself a little about the history of the sport, it used to be 400km gravel ONLY stages. Everytime i read pure Boomercringe like this, i'm a little bit embarrassed to enjoy the same sport
What would he have done anyways ? Poor form and has never been better than Pogacar, all he can do is pace Vingegaard and others can stay on the wheel just as well
What an amazing place to ride. You guys are so lucky.
Great video, but I do have a question- will this stage be at all like the Strade Bianche?
199km with 7000ft? stick to metric please 😉🤣
124 miles with 7000ft. fixed 😉
199 km with 2100 m . Now fixed
How many furlongs and cubits is that?
1m+ 39.6 in... Not hard...(7000x12in Divide 39.6)
This is going to make this race so much more interesting but Pog will probably just blow it away!!!
When you’re riding by yourself it’s one thing, but with a crowd of other riders the risk of danger and wiping out is very high. I don’t like it.

@@patrickbateman7444 amen, well said
I love it. Bring on the chaos
MVDP, Pidcock,Pedersen, Mohoric, Philipsen it’s going to be one of them.
Or Pog.
Perfect stage for classics riders, and for Pogi this stage also could give some gains.
I m thinking Mohoric, Pidcock, MvdP, vanAert or .... Yates brothers😉😂
I like these two 😄🙌
You guys make the time cut?
😂😂😂😂
Given that from the main GC candidates, Pogacar is the better one on cobbles/gravel, this stage is one more for him to increase his lead.
I still don't like it.
Mvdp could do it if he wanted to but I don't think that's his goal
Too risky and way too much of an investment to take any time.
He'll stay at the front of the bunch is he is smart.
Middle aged men with guts on bicycles…I SALUTE YOU MY BROTHERS! 😅😂
It maybe a gamechanger for the above, but not for top pros
@@paulwebster4499 Gamechanger? Which one?
I hope it's not gonna be a disaster! Falling, withdrawn, injuries. 40km/h on that shit! It's OK on one day race, most of the bikers don't like it.
I really love the gravel stage addition. The gnarlier the better - introduce more skill and strategy into the race
Yeah; there's more to cycling than just watts, w/kg.....skill should be a factor as well. Roglic crashes because he's poor in handling his bike.....
@@Andy_ATB Cycling is more exciting to participate in than watch as a spectator sport.
I'm of an opposite mindset: this is the premier stage race in the world, and they're making the best in the world ride through utter garbage.
@@SirLionofBiff Paris Roubaix cobbles or gravel - which is more “trashy”?
GC van der poel confirmed
Last 50 km are flat, a good break will form with classics riders but it will probably end up in a mass sprint.
Cavencrash will have faked a crash or retired by this stage with any luck.
eat your words mate. He got his win. Stay bitter. Cav on top
With Sepp Kuss out, the winner is already obvious.
Anything can happen. Pogi could crash out in stage 1 you never know.
Given that "Benadryl" is a banned substance, Jonathan Vaughters, and bees, beg to differ.
What would he have done anyways ?
