I needed this so this is perfect timing. I have been in the IT field for almost a decade but always had a passion for design and I want to make a switch to UX. Definitely saving this! Thank you again. I think my biggest struggle with this is step 2. Definitely could use more advice on that.

I’m a software engineer and comp sci graduate with 3 years experience. While I love engineering and love building software, I feel my passions lie in a much more creative area like UX/Product design. While working with UX designers in my current role, and previous roles, I found the work to be super interesting and spark a joy in me.
This is all leading me to want to make a change into this field. This video helped a lot for understanding how to get started.

I’ve been doing ux for about 6 months and honestly I’m not in a rush right now I’m like honestly trying to learn as much as possible I switched my major to UX/UI like yes I want client work but I feel like learning in school will help me about more I’m a slow learner lol

I recently watched your video about how you became a self-taught UX designer in 3 months, and at the moment as I'm searching for a UX job, I'm having doubts as to whether or not I am fulfilling my purpose God has for me by fufilling this path. Could anyone recommend some good UI design courses? Most stuff i see (on Udemy for instance) is all-in-one courses including graphic design basics (which as a graphic designer i don't need) or full Figma/XD instructions. I wish to learn good practices on UI design, based on real knowledge, analysis and so on.
