I prefer the oppo over the s21 ultra. It’s had a few updates. It does what the ultra does mostly. But it’s lighter and easier in the hand. And looks better. I think the screen is as good, as are the cameras.
i do not agree when it comes to the design, which is probably the worst aspect of this phone the back just makes it look like an incredibly cheap iPhone 12 Pro knockoff, especially with that blue color which is almost identical to the midnight blue

Honestly I love the idea of a company that doesn't just move forwards the more experimental the better because that way there will be a phone for everyone a phone that is specialised to that persons needs why not have shit cameras and an amazing screen? While Samsung devices are always overrated (at least for me), i agree with you that i'd rather choose Samsung because of the better design and almost everything else.. Just so you know, astrophotographers are (have been for years) shooting 14bit -16 bit images. The images are huge as far as taking up space, but needs the flexibility to bring out the details of faint objects, having double of dynamic range.
One of the best smartphones out there. It's refined, great color accuracy screen, great photos, super fast charging. Its a beautiful and balanced device. Proud owner.

I'm personally attached to this, because it's not trying to be all that. It's not all flashy and complicated, compared to some of the other brands. It has all the features I want, it does those features well, and it's not so boasting with price because it's new. It's standardized in a sense, when it comes down to functionality.
