    It's crazy how good an almost stock Power Wagon on 35s or 37s is compare to any other full sized truck in this particular terrain.

      Love mine, 2019 stock disconnecting sway bar, front and rear lockers. Only thing I did was 37s, a tune and high clearance bumpers. Love them! Traded my raptor for it and never looked back

      @@WinningDeadlyEncounters it was the 2011 6.2L, I know there have been a lot of improvements made on them but I have a family of 6 and I wanted a capable truck (I live on a mountain in Oregon), that was loaded and we could all fit in, PW was the best option for me and no regrets! 😁 I had been a Ford guy my entire 42 years but part of the decision was because I bought the wife a new explorer sport with twin turbos, it blew 4 turbos in less than 45,000 miles even though all maintenance was kept up on and it was a family car. Ford finally said they weren’t dealing with it anymore after the fourth went out so I bought me the PW and the wife a Hyundai Palisade lol

    For the 2011 Tundra with Patagonia MTs, I'm curious to know what you think of those tires. I've never tried them myself, but every time I see them, they seem to spin and struggle more than I would expect from a popular MT, but as the owner what is your opinion of them?

    I got 4:56 gears in my super duty, currently have 37’s but want to run 39’s / 40’s. Anyone got experience with that setup or thoughts on if it will work? My truck hauls ass with 37’s and the 4:56. It’s a regular cab long bed with 6.2 gas V8 so very light

    Power Wagon is the best. The locking differentials are the key. The only problem with the new power wagon is that is too big for small trails. I have a 1978 Power wagon an it is unstoppable.

  • @Jackmerius_Tacktheretrix
    @Jackmerius_Tacktheretrix 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The guy in the black tundra needs to stay on the gas longer. He kept letting off as soon as he got wheel spin and not carrying enough momentum.

  • @scottyellis3442
    @scottyellis3442 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    That was surprising, Toyota's struggled, power wagon just walked right up like it was at home, & the black Ford needed some different tires.

    • @FuJiNF
      @FuJiNF 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Any truck that slowed down too much had a tough time going up hill. The trucks that went up at ease kept a good speed for momentum, which also helped bumped them off the larger boulders too. The Tundra at 8min in went up when the trail was wet. He needs to be steady on the throttle on not keep letting off. The trucks with lockers makes it easier to climb since that eliminates left/right wheel spin.
