I believe that your wild and dark interpretation of the very scant clues says more about you than it does about the prior resident(s). Still, your flights of fancy are always interesting.
It looks like they left in a hurry. They didn't even pack their stuff. Maybe the BLM ordered them off the land and they couldn't move the trailer. Imagine if one of the persons who lived there found this video by Wonderhussy and watched her go through their stuff.

You need to get yourself a Tyvex hazmat suit, gloves and respirator if you're going to be exploring places like that. It is cheap protection from the unknown.
That's why I was thinking. At least an N95 mask and some latex or Mechanix gloves... minimum. She is so bright yet sometimes she does shockingly dumb stuff. Especially walking on that stuff with flip flops. I mean, I get it, I'm from LA, I wear shorts and flip flops 24/7 too but I would never walk on stuff like that with them.

Why does living out in the middle of nowhere mean that anybody was abused? Or that anybody is abusive, for that matter? I understand that it happens and the clues all point to them most likely being poor. But not all poor people are abusive. I was brought up in poverty and my dad treated my mom like the Queen that she was and we may not have had much but we knew that we were loved and our parents did the bet that they could to provide for us. But the biggest clue I'd like to point out is the lack of any empty alcohol bottles or beer cans laying around. Alcohol is usually what brings out the abuse. And drunks don't haul off their empties. So, there should have been some sign of drinking and I don't recall seeing one empty. So I have to disagree with your assessment of the situation. My guess would be the man was a seasonal worker or a ranch hand and the owner moved his cattle and they moved with them. My understanding is that they graze BLM land for free and maybe his contract was up. Also, the mess that you see has most likely been done by people coming across an abandoned trailer and over the years, trashing the place. I'd have gone back in for that clown light switch plate though! That was awesome!
I believe the outside mess was a built on additional room and that’s why so much was outside but I’m very adhd and create my own conclusions to my abandoned location explores too. I’m in beautiful northern Colorado baby!
I lived in southern Colorado for a minute and its just like that, desert & mobile homes so i had a large water container buried with a pump underneath the mobile home but others just bought water bottles in town! A large Propane tank jad to be set out for heat and my goodness I never realized how expensive desert living is sooo after fixing it up, i sold it! Lol 😂
In 1989, I played Kings Quest IV all the way through while I was recovering from a broken leg. I still have a copy of KQ VI. PS: My wife has been preserving me (the husband) for 48 years.
Hi Jersey Bob. We used to live in the Wildwood/Cape May area. The cost of houses got too expensive for us .... our money was all tied with a semi truck...yes my husband was an over the road truck driver.....Maybe he KNEW "JIMMIE" The dead husband "Preserved" under the trailer 😑

I think the reason the kitchen is in the front yard is because the methies took all the pipes and wires to get more fixins. Also in defense of Jimmy, sometimes it's not that your shootin iron is too small it's that the holster is worn out. You can go to that saloon too, buddy.
I think that Jimmy was at the bar when he won the lottery...He went home and said " Honey I won the lottery. Grab the kid and the cat and clothes because we are out of here!" :)
You missed a huge clue on the guy. When you turned over the obituary page there was a guy that passed in 2005. Maybe he was the husband and she moved after.

And "Jimmie" was an "Over the Road " truck driver....he came home early unexpectedly and she got caught at the trailer with her boyfriend Shawn!
