Hydroponics is the type of hobby that once you get interested in it you can help but think, why doesn't everybody do this. I bet you feel the same way.
    Such enjoyable videos. Thank you

Exactly!! It solves the fresh food problem with so much less effort than any gardening I did in the past. I want everyone to join the journey!

Apologize for the typo. I meant to say can't help but to think, why doesn't everybody do this.

Hi Stephanie, I love gardening!!!!! I stopped because I now live in an apartment. I just found your platform and have been praying for North Carolina. How can I continue to garden while living in this apartment. Thank you and God Bless.

Well Stephanie...you've re-motovated me! We had a disastrous summer of record heat...too hot for blossoms to set...but we worked like crazy to at least keep everything alive.
So, the Tower Garden has struggled but it seems to be recovering & tomatoes are blossoming...I've decided not to throw a temper tantrum and tear everything out.
Sprouts and/or microgreens???? Very interested. We need a little sense of victory.
    Thanks for the emotional re-fresh!😉

Summers are no fun with any garden......I'm filming a garden tour today and you will see the hot mess that towers can become after a season! lol. Fall gardening is so nice though so good job not giving up!! Start some new fall loving crops too.

I stumbled on your channel in the middle of our property search in western NC last year. It definitely motivated us to pull the trigger on a property that we found and ultimately closed on in the summer. Raw, unimproved land with so many possibilities!
What became crystal clear to us after moving up from FL is that the food system we are still reliant upon is fundamentally broken. I will spare the theology points, save to say that a tree can be known by its fruit. And a lot of what is peddled to the uninformed consumer is rotten to the core.
Resiliency is the name of the game in these times. The more one can decouple from the systems that keep us sick and broken, the better off we will all be. Blessings and thanks for all you do and share!

Thanks Stephanie! You have really inspired me on so many levels. I’ve sprouted, grown micro greens but never got into hydroponics. Now thats going to be a new challenge for me. Also, because of you, I bought a few mushroom blocks at my local farmers market! Keep up the good work!

You are so right about the fake food the meat is now so weird my husband and I are so afraid of becoming ill, we are in our mid to late 60s and so many of our family members have heart disease, cancers, and other autoimmune issues
I lost 2 brothers recently 60 and younger Who lived in California, I worried about my grandchildren 6, 13, 14, and 17 my grandson (6) loves being in the garden with me and will eat the veggies we grow, and the 17-year-old she loves veggies too and is very selective on what she eats that’s her artwork on my profile for youtube. Thank you for taking the time to educate us.

Great video and encouragement. Do you use the TowerGarden nutrient solution or have you figured out a DIY using typical hydroponic solutions? I never like getting locked into one supplier which is why I am asking. Thanks -

    • @theaeroponictowerchannel
      @theaeroponictowerchannel  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Thanks! I still use TG nutrients but I have started the journey of learning other things now that I have a 2nd hydroponic system I'm working with. I'll keep you posted via videos as I try things.

I’ve used a few and did some grow and cost comparisons mixing 5 gallon pails of a few to understand the EC readings of what was being called for. TG nutrients are fantastic but the cost is high once a tower is full grown and water consumption is 2/3 refill per day. I ended up settling on master blend running a standard EC of 1.2 with good results across all veggies and the cost per refill is pennies. Any of the hydroponic formulas will work in the towers. You just need to see what works best for the crops you grow. I run four towers in total. Two have the additional herb topping kits. This season feb-current I’ve used 6lbs of a 10lb kit. Hope this helps with your question.
