Another tip is be prepared to take a year to get your first Tier 10 tank and if I had to recommend one I’d say go after the mk6 chieftain the line is highly up and down but once you get there you’ve got arguably the single most versatile heavy tank it can do anything great dmp workable armor and it’s very fast

Another good tip for all players, is using the square map! You see the entire battlefield, and can make better tactical decisions based on where the enemy is, and where your team is. Check the map constantly!
Get better fast , with a tier 10 op tank for the thumbnail 😂🤣😂👍 Please do a series for the new players, start with 1 skill cre and grind a line. Show the new players how it's supposed to be done, I could really have done with that when I started and not just a how 2 with 9skills and fully loaded it only helps those that have been around a little while. Eclipse, I remember you mentioned a while ago that you have a second account that has not been used for gold and such. Would be interesting for us to see, and for you to do, to pick a tank line and work up it with a younger crew (imagine, 1-3 skills to start with) and make it up as able, including the grinding for silver to equip the tank. I feel (strongly) that while much advise here and elsewhere is great, new players can not benefit yet because they do not have the crew and silver to even try to emulate it. It may also give you a different perspective for some of your videos.

There is still a "help" request on the radial command. I am forced to use it quite a bit. It seems I am always on team color blind, deaf, and extremely dumb.
According to the Wargaming stats, I am categorized as an "above average" player. Which surprised the hell outta me since I have so often died within the first 2 minutes. Turns out my Conqueror has the most battles out of every tank I have owned and still own. I won't put a tank in battle unless it is fully equipped, with a commander and consumables. I got a bunch of tanks I haven't even tried yet.
You also are in a 1k Sq kill box In essence a tank nursery brawling while there's a place for it gunnery at range is the most important thing to learn see a red move to shoot it if you can your tanks gun is a very important tool to victory don't sit shoot and move but do it smart it you have multiple shots take them hunt down the other guys shoot from a sneaky spot don't rush know the difference between rushing and wise movements
Watch gameplay. Whether you stay in games, go back and watch replays, or watch streams. Watch gameplay, both good and bad. Watching your own is very helpful. It helps you understand what you did right and what mistakes you made.
Still waiting for wg to actually add a tutorial to the game after 6.0 update. Biggest issue for trying to do this is lack of having enough silver for equipment for all tanks and having enough experienced commanders with more than one skill slot.
So true, they did have those war stories but removed them. Kind of helpful in a sense...but you only get better the more you play. You get to know the maps and can typically gage where ppl are going to go etc. Can't help.those games where ur team just get hammered in the first 3minutes
honestly, there is no point worrying about winrate in the current 4 min curbstomping game, but nice of you to atleast try to make some of the zombies pay attention. I just focus on trying to have as good games as possible these days
Well when i started playing this game about a year ago my win rate was 46 and now after a year it is 51 . A very slow process and i dont play any other game. I want to reach above 60 as quickly as possible but i guess the harder i try the more difficult it becomes. By the way eclipse can u get easy on me because eveeytime u see me a clan member ur whole attention is sending me back to gargae.

I have the fv4005 and I’m trying to 3 mark it. It’s just becoming a pain😂. I’ve watched your one video with it and tried it out it helped but it’s still such a grind.
I'm actually not too good at world of tanks even though I got all the premium tiger tanks even the two King tigers with gold but the problem is I don't know what time to choose that would at least get me plenty of XP so I can finally get the tank I want the e100 tank aka the ultimate tiger tank but what tank should I get on the premium store that would at least do the most damage against tanks and give me the best armored protection because grinding is not as easy as I thought it was and to do that I need a really good tank is there one that does the most damage at least maybe possibly with the best armor as well at least one that'll get me enough XP to get the e100 tank???🥺
Recently when I've been playing it says there's enemies aiming at me but the position I'm in its literally impossible for an enemy to be aiming at me, does tht mean artillery is aiming or bugged
Just because your gun may hit harder doesn't mean you will survive longer. TDs with heavy front armor, you are not a heavy tank. You are not ment for the front line unless you are in a hole with allies around you.
True…that said: I have played in a 3 man platoon with the Diamondback when we earned them last year and they were a brutal wall and we could keep the reds away from our sides with good teamwork.

Would not recommend it without teammates you know and trust.

Then I had some friends over (kind of a LAN party, if you are old enough) and looking at my friends screen I saw a ton of enemies in her map that I could not see in mine. I have updated the radio since, because looking at her map I saw where all the medium tanks were so I knew where I could move to get in position.
All of those count towards the base xp however light tanks always get more xp than other tanks in game so that's most likely why they ranked higher, either that or its because they were a lower tier than the person with more damage etc.

This is some rough advice….DPM is good dnt get me wrong but do the math ur using equipment that fractionally effects the reload compared to better equipment to use. Crew perks are what really makes the difference if ur copy pasting crew perks from 1 crew to the next ur doing it wrong. So many tankers using the wrong perks an dnt realize it.
In a lot of the clips I see of you playing, you are lucky as you seem to get players around you moving and engaging and helping. Unlike in a lot of the games I move up in my heavy tank and get to similar to where you did at the start of the game and there are 3 or 4 heavies and 2 TDs 3 still camping base e mins into the game and no one moves to help or do anything positive and just sit and wait and camp. It doesn't matter how good you are or what consumables you have on etc., Those games you are never winning. For example today in 3 games I did on average 2000 damage per game and lost them all because there were 3 or 4 heavies down the bottom of the table with just 500 or 600 damage a piece firing just 4 or 5 shots at the end of the game because they were camping base all game playing at sniper instead of as a heavy. And lost them ALL .
YeH Communication is pretty bad now. They need to bring back neea Target and have like Track this target. That would be great if folks every followed ther request…. Did you know that default Audio Setting is set to Platoon Only? Why would you do that WG?
Hi Eclipse, I would like to feedback that the recent new light tanks with missiles are ruining the game. The RNG is horrid enough to put six M60A2 and Sheridans in one game while another team has none. In the end, the game end in favour to the M60A2 and sheridans team as group up Wolfpack and follow behind heavy armor tanks around killing enemy in seconds with double/ triple missiles killing any full health tank with two hits. This is so unfair.
Bruh, the new CW light tanks are outta control. You cant hit/pen them. You can't out traverse them. They break your turret, set you on fire, kill your driver, or ammo rack you with every third shot. It is a nightmare right now.

I'm a decent player, but last night Wargaming saw fit to give me 10 awful teams in a row. The worst matchmaking I've experienced in years. It literally felt like 5v15 every match. They kept putting unicum platoons up against rubbish players with just a few of us who are actually good players. It was just massacre after massacre. I'm forever stuck at 57% WinRate 💩😵
My win rate isn't as good as yours. But 8-12+ consecutive losses are not uncommon. And so I have been told by other decent players. My worst streak was 29 losses with 2 wins mixed in. So 27L 2W before I finally gave up. Even if I was absolutely shiting the bed (which thankfully I don't very often) or completely afk for 29 games you would expect a better win rate than that.
Win percentage means ABSOLUTELY nothing. It's hard to win consistently with Wargamings messed up matchmaking. Plus, you have 14 others on a team. You can be the best player in the game and lose everytime with crappy mates.
Your advices don't work. I did almost everything you said and still my win rate less then 50%. BTW on the battle you showed - the opposite team played stupidly. I wish my opponents play like this all the time. Also Crew skills and equipment should be different for different types of tanks (Light tank one set of skills, Medium - another, heavy - another, tank destroyers - another).
W8 RATE doesn't mean shizz...I can platoon with 2 others..in T3..never do dmg..winning 10 games my W8 would be alot higher than if I played T8..lone wolf..avg dmg per game 1800..winning half the games..that's why W8 MEANS absolutely nothing..it is a zero reflection of player skill..W8 IS OVERATED BULL SHIZZ..I'd rather have a toon mate who can dmg..than can win..fact...alot of high W8 players can't even carry their own tank hit points in dmg

If you haven't fully upgraded your tank, please don't worry about your winrate. Some tanks are miserable with the stock loadout.

Sixth sense has saved me so many times when I didn't think I was spotted. No. 1 skill followed by BIA.
True about SS, but internet speed is a huge factor… so, not worth getting…. My sixth sense pups up immediately after a KO 😝

I p8ck say a tier 5 and go up against tier7. Tier 8 against tier 10. Only tier 4 seems to play it's own tier though I have been up against tier 6.

@eclipse i definitely agree with you when you were talking about an 88% win rate in something like a panzer V IV and said disgusting. Honestly it's such a gross tank i automatically dislike anyone who plays it. It's cheap wins in my opinion with that thing

players in a partoon should not count, since they usually have a way higher win rate
I'm a decent player, but last night Wargaming saw fit to give me 10 awful teams in a row. The worst matchmaking I've experienced in years. It literally felt like 5v15 every match. They kept putting unicum platoons up against rubbish players with just a few of us who are actually good players. It was just massacre after massacre. I'm forever stuck at 57% WinRate 💩😵
My win rate isn't as good as yours. But 8-12+ consecutive losses are not uncommon. And so I have been told by other decent players.
My worst streak was 29 losses with 2 wins mixed in. So 27L 2W before I finally gave up.
Even if I was absolutely shiting the bed (which thankfully I don't very often) or completely afk for 29 games you would expect a better win rate than that.
It's just Wargaming trying to balance ⚖️ me out. I just came off of a 17 game win streak, my highest to date. So I was anticipating a slump.
Win percentage means ABSOLUTELY nothing. It's hard to win consistently with Wargamings messed up matchmaking. Plus, you have 14 others on a team. You can be the best player in the game and lose everytime with crappy mates.
Your advices don't work. I did almost everything you said and still my win rate less then 50%. BTW on the battle you showed - the opposite team played stupidly. I wish my opponents play like this all the time. Also Crew skills and equipment should be different for different types of tanks (Light tank one set of skills, Medium - another, heavy - another, tank destroyers - another).
W8 RATE doesn't mean shizz...I can platoon with 2 others..in T3..never do dmg..winning 10 games my W8 would be alot higher than if I played T8..lone wolf..avg dmg per game 1800..winning half the games..that's why W8 MEANS absolutely nothing..it is a zero reflection of player skill..W8 IS OVERATED BULL SHIZZ..I'd rather have a toon mate who can dmg..than can win..fact...alot of high W8 players can't even carry their own tank hit points in dmg

Fv4005 was probably the worst tank to use for a thumbnail. Since if you land 2 penetrating hesh shots, you're close if not over 3k already. Lol

This is a good video. its a crying shame we are not allowed to stream world of tanks anymore. if you download the russian addition of the game and stream it, it works, but youtube now takes them down. its a shame videos like yours cant be done on live anymore. why would wargaming do this to its community, it streamers, and to all its customers who buy gold to have good tanks s when they streamed it made the game look good; but not now. its sad that only russians can stream now and i think this game may die within the next few years because of this. now I can still make videos of war of tanks but it is a real crying shame i cant play this game live anymore. its a great game and would become more popular if they would continue to allow live streaming outside the USSR. there is also talk this game is being discontinued on xbox at the end of this year. whats up with that??
