Manic two minutes delivers double Olympics delight as Team GB swimmers smash USA and Murray escapes

It was double Olympics drama in space of just two minutes as Britain's men's swimmers nabbed Team GB's fourth gold of the Games at exactly the same time as Andy Murray pulled off ANOTHER stunning escape alongside doubles partner Dan Evans to delay his retirement from tennis for at least one more match.
Nathan Hales was roared on by his girlfriend Charlotte as he came from behind to set a new Olympic record, win the trap shooting and bag Team GB's third gold.
And that set the tone for the late drama as James Guy, Tom Dean, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott stormed to a stunning 4x200m freestyle relay victory - crushing second place Team USA by 1.35 seconds.
But British fans were left with an impossible choice between watching GB claim glory in the pool or seeing Murray and Evans save TWO match points against Belgians Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen to reach the men's doubles quarter-finals - just two days after they heroically defended five match points to beat Japan.
Gymnastics legend Simone Biles claimed her fifth Olympic gold for Team USA in the women's team gymnastics to cap her remarkable comeback from her mental health troubles at Tokyo.
But it was heartbreak for Team GB who celebrated wildly when they thought they had nabbed bronze - only to discover they had been cruelly beaten by Brazil by a mere 0.234 points.
