Gaming on the stealth is crazy good. Thanks for the review! Unfortunately this is a bit out of my price range. Are there any plans on reviewing the FT5 from FiiO? It's their first planar over ear headphone and costs around 500€ here in germany.
How do these compare in competitive gaming, “sound whoring,” etc compared to the AceZone A-Spire? I have hd800s, but the A-Spire’s DSP just make the noises hard to miss on top of perfect imaging compared to the HD800s. Sometimes the wide open soundstage and sound signature can make the HD800s have a bit of ambiguity of the location of a sound in some games. Also, have you played Tarkov? That's touch to answer because there are so many factors at play tbh. The Arya Organic, Sennheiser HD800 S, come to mind when it comes to details/technicalities. I'm certain that you'll get somebody who'll say a bunch of subjective dribble and point to some inaudible charts and graphs. I like the looks with that red and I like the headband somewhat more but that's about it. You'd be better off spending the money on a DAC / Amp. Audiophile stuff is spending 'huge' with the diminishing returns .. often insane amounts to get a fraction of 1% improvements.
I think the XS hurt some of their more expensive offering sales volume simply because of how good it is for the money. The Arya Organic is better, but I'm not sure it's 2.6x better. I find the Arya Organic to be more comfortable to wear. Bass extension is a little better, and it's a bit more resolving. Some mild EQ on the XS goes a long way though, especially if you don't mind how the XS feels on your head.
Edition XS is now 379$, so that make the Arya organic 3,4 X the price. I would be curious to see what eq @GadgetryTech have on XS. It is very informative to see the Arya Organic eq he does.
I got arya organic for test few days ago with about 100h on it already. Not sure how much amp/dac is in play here but on EF400 dac/amp + arya organic is much worse then HD800s and in my country i can get them in same price:) Resolution on HD is another lvl. Yeah bass is "more" but everything else especialy with EQ for bass on HD is much better :) So Games, movies and music HD800s All the way.
I don't know. I'm older and I have knock on wood incredibly good hearing, I prefer still a flat neutral sound. If I want increased -trouble- treble I can EQ it ..I don't want it built into my damn headphones. I like its looks the headbands a little nicer. Also in MW3 gone are the days of sound whoring .. also gone are the days of crappy spawns only to be replaced with infuriating spawns. Pretty much to the point where I hate the game. I've only hated a few Call of Duties.
.. I'm bored out of my skull with MW3. I got Interstellar unlocked before Season 1 and the weekly challenge this last time took one game to unlock. Boredom and infuriation is what I feel for this game.
I feel like they intentionally changed the spawns on smaller maps to make it more back and forth combat, rather than reward players who play more tactically as well. Shipment is a nightmare these days
@@GadgetryTech .. The end result is I refuse to spend any additional funds to reward Activision on this deliberate player sabotage. When I like a version of CoD, I'll easily drop hundreds if not more. I purchased $100 version and a few skins. I'm done until they change this. The spawns on shipment have always been bad but this takes it to a new level of WTFness, but the spawns on Rust and even some of the larger maps have been equally Daffy. It's a very deliberate thing Activision chose to do. The reason that I like smaller maps and in particular Shipment is because a lot of the Cheaters advantage goes somewhat away. I play Hardcore so you can imagine .. a bad spawn literally into gunfire compounded by looking / cocking your gun like some fool. Xclusive Ace just posted a video about this finally, but I've seen lots of other people have the same exact complaint, so we'll see what happens.
I don't get it, what makes them sound different? They're all built the same, they have the same Mylar diaphragms and the same magnet structure. What's physically different about these? All the reviewers just talk about the sound but never explain why they sound different! I just received the arya stealth and it sounds exactly like the old edition x version 2 that I had
Yes. It can technically plug into a controller if you have an adapter that brings the 6.35mm down to 3.5mm. I recommend something like the Schiit HEL+ or the new JDS Atom Stack though if you want a cleaner, more powerful sound.

I got arya organic for test few days ago with about 100h on it already.
Not sure how much amp/dac is in play here but on EF400 dac/amp + arya organic is much worse then HD800s and in my country i can get them in same price:)
Resolution on HD is another lvl. Yeah bass is "more" but everything else especialy with EQ for bass on HD is much better :)
So Games, movies and music HD800s All the way.
The ef400 organics? That sounds like a crazy headphone bro where can I find that ?
@@stevendavis1135 in china u can buy one, but now have ef600 and ef500,there are very cheap
I understood from your review The Organic has more treble and bright sound than The arya stealth?
A tad more yes, but it’s paired with a subtle bass lift as well.
@@GadgetryTech so what do you recommend for all genres of music? Stealth or Organic??
@@mohammedbazhair2000 I would still prefer the Organic overall!
Can these be used on PS5...??
Yes. It can technically plug into a controller if you have an adapter that brings the 6.35mm down to 3.5mm. I recommend something like the Schiit HEL+ or the new JDS Atom Stack though if you want a cleaner, more powerful sound.
Please test the Scullcandy ANC Crusher II! Theyre a lot of fun with shooters... And this one are waaay too big. Covers half of your face :D
👍🌟👍
What are your black headphone stands?
It's the Rooms Audio Line FS Pro. Now, if he could comment to let us know if it's the A or the B version, we can both buy one, lol.
Google's Circle to search feature surprisingly found it.
@@M3rl0x Thank You!!! I’m going with the B version. It’s the newer model (2018 vs. 2017) and only very slightly heavier. Otherwise, they appear to be identical. Plus their other versions are gorgeous as well. Thank you again!
The Hekse isnt better than the organic for gaming? Wow
I think hes still under the impression the HE1kSE is a $3500 headphone, not $1999. Also he's referring to competitive gaming I think (wasnt really clear on what made one better than the other and for what use case, but obviously they're both good)
Subbed and liked. New wz2 sonar EQ pretty please 😊
Your Arya stealth measurement doesn't look right, at all!
It's being fixed! The wrong pic/file ended up on my Squig which I add the photos after the recording is done. Squig is fixed, and the YT video is applying a blur so the video isn't misleading anyone else. I'll add a link to that part of the video as well to help people find the correct measurement. gadgetrytech.squig.link/headsets/?share=Harman_Target,Hifiman_Arya_Stealth,Hifiman_Arya_Organic
Hifiman packaging is garbage. Even Susvara ships in such cardboard box - i think that's insane considering pricetag.
Was thinking the same. It throws me off so much. It doesn’t make any sense to me.
Get a decent packaging and box HiFi Man.
This must be a new change, my Susvara has a rigid box along with my old HE1000se.
@@mikeg2491 you have a SUSVARA - my hero=) im only dreaming about it. maybe some day, maybe ill grab one))
how do you like it so far?
Why does that matter? It's either trash or you look at it for a day before it gathers dust in a closet.
@@Mariscos420 i have an audeze case by my side. I know its there and i can keep my cans inside safe and sound. In transportation purposes also. Hi fi and ESPECIALLY totl headphones has to have a case or at least a bag (like Abyss). Look at Meze - its beautiful cases - i love it!
Starbucks plug lol #GoT
haha normally I never drink Starbucks too! I have an espresso machine at home we use daily. My wife got me a hot tea for my throat just so i could talk!
