I LOVED this! I'm 70 years old and have been thinking about creating a small wall-mounted dollhouse for my bedroom wall because I have always loved miniatures. You gave me so many ideas about how to make things myself. I'm SO inspired now. This has opened up a whole new window of creativity for me. Thank you! 💚
Your miniature rooms are beautiful. I with the help of my husband did a small miniature house with a shingle roof, this was from a kit. All the furnishings we made. It was so much fun. My husband put functioning lights. I was always on the hunt for things I could change into items for the house. I did also buy some items at a miniature doll house store. It was funny because we even had a disagreement about the wallpaper and flooring features of the house. I also started playing with doll houses in my childhood. I still have the one made of printed metal that I got one Christmas. Thank you for your fun video. 🏫🏤🏠🏚️
Well done Homeworthy for highlighting such a creative and awesome hobby. I enjoyed this tour so much. I have been decorating dollhouses for years. My current is the Mayfair from the UK. It’s such fun to decorate it for the seasons too. Amazing how detailed miniature things can be. If anyone would like to see my account you are welcome to message me.
Thank you for a wonderful tour from a dedicated miniaturist. Dollhouse (and doll store) decorating has been one of my favorite hobbies for decades. I appreciate all the design features, great hints, "high and low" sources in this gem. Clearly there is a lot of joy associated with her creativity. Best of all, it is in a family home, to be enjoyed. Will be sure to share the link.
Love this! I used to spend hours redoing my dollhouse. If I had known that being a designer was a real thing, I would have studied it in college. Still feel like I missed my calling.
Where can I buy a rotating dollhouse like this? Or even plans to make a dollhouse like that? My 10 year old and I are in love and want to make ourselves one as our Christmas present and into the new year.
Omg I love this video! Please continue to bring us more dollhouse tours!
Yes!
