Trev is back for his first hike of the year, and what better place to start than to visit some amazing Cornwall beaches and the SWCP (South West Coast Path). But despite the perfect conditions, and beautiful Cornish Coastline, things don't go according to plan, and once again he Trev'd it Right Up!

The walk around the fresh water lake at Loe Bar is a really nice walk in itself

Lovely. Nothing like a clear blue sky to lift the spirits, especially at this time of year. Hope you treated yourself to some fish and chips at the end of the trek.

Looked like a summers day and so nice to see a bit of sun again, perfect hiking weather, despite the blackened start! Shame about the footage you lost but what you did get was pretty good, love the coastline there, the beaches there always looks so nice and I know it is winter but so quiet as well. Being lazy at Christmas is what it is all about but I felt it on my first hike of 2022 last week and paid for it the next day lol. The beach, the waters and the location all looked superb but if I was given a choice of there or the Bahamas, I would be on the plane faster than you could shout Summit or Nothing, cheers Alan

We’re so lucky to have this on our doorstep, best place to live , work and play, other than all the camping i do these walks and hikes more than the backpacking on the moors lol, you must stop off and henrys campsire that way at some point your love it

So good to see you back on the SWCP. I love watching these as it's not a walk I can do living in the middle of the UK. So, I get huge enjoyment out of watching them. Such awesome scenery, we're so lucky to have wonderful areas like this on our shorelines. I'll be in the Porlock area in July and will certainly be partaking in a walk or two whilst there. A multi day coastal walk is definitely on my bucket list. not made it down to cornwall yet, only around the jurassic coast. what's your favourite stretch of coastline in the south west?
Hard to tell really - some amazing cliffs along North Cornwall, but has been equally as stunning in west cornwall too. As long as I can see the sea and theres not too much inland field walking or endless woodland then I am happy!
Jeez ,that's amazing you have covered that distance ,how do sort getting back to your transport ? Also ,have you thought of adding in some kettle bell training at home for super charging your fitness ,I use every day ,takes 10 minutes out your day for awesome fitness levels ,good luck
I am terrible for doing exercise at home, Andrew - have tried to get into the routine of it in the past on numerous occasions but I usually get bored of the thought of repetition training within days. Even tried the gym once.

What a glorious morning Trev, easily my favourite weather of the year .. a nice, slight cold, crisp clear morning honestly can’t beat it. Shame about the footage but hey ho, I honestly still loved the shots you got … your phone can’t half get some nice clear shots! Captured a brilliant morning beautifully. Hope you had a good Christmas and new year and ate load of food, best part after all?
Yea - I managed to grab more footage than I thought, and that phone is pretty decent, yea. The crisp weather certainly is something special, hard to stay in a bad mood when the weather is ike that!

The bits your missing in Cornwall amazingly I’ve done, as I’ve done most of Cornwall as I’ve spent a fair amount of time there.
Don’t be like me when you ascend out from fowey and end up getting shouted at by a farmer for walking around his field 🤣🤣🤣 I missed the way marker 🤷♂️
