Absolutely loved watching this video of Mullion Cove and you collecting the sea glass to make into your wonderful artwork which I had just bought on Etsy the week before as a Christmas present for my sister and her husband. What a wonderful coincidence! She loved it! Thanks so much Sarah and Andrew!
Cornish walking Trails is a channel dedicated to reviewing coastal walks around Cornwall. So let’s review Andrew and Sarah’s Cornish Walking Trails review of Mullion Cove. If you like granite cliffs, tumbledown lighthouses, cute Cornish cottages, repeatable phrases in swirling Cornish accents such as "Across the bridge, follow the road, back to the church”, “Aren’t you gorgeous?”, “Fabulous walk, really enjoyed the walk”, and “Bless her!”, or if you like Echiums, old churches, sea glass, muddy paths, styles, pirate coves, ice cream and pastie shops, and coastal erosion and graveyards, then this channel is for you. Ten out of ten.
Once more thank you for another great video, going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment and can't begin to tell you how your video's brighten up my day and I'm sure many other people's. I haven't been to that part of the coast in Cornwall so will be putting on my bucket list🤗
Keep going, Margaret. The very pleasant innocent diversion of CWT's neverland of a happy place to visit is so pleasing. I cannot agree with you more. I too agree that these unpretentious weekly videos brighten my day.
What a lovely walk. Your little doggy is becoming more of a star each time. Had to laugh at Andrew chasing him around the beach trying to get the stick off him. Next time, buy him an ice cream of his own. He’s earned it.
Wow this video has everything....beautiful cliff scenery, cottages, beaches, seaglass, and churches with dog doors, I couldn't ask for anything more. So enjoyable to watch. Have a good weekend Sarah and Andrew!
And the handsome star of the show IS......well, I don't need to tell you do I?!! (Sorry Andrew!)...I'm glad you feature that fabulous doggy of yours so often. His face tells a thousand stories. And what a lovely October day it was. Bit different down here today....minus 1 and VERY woolly jumper weather! Such an interesting walk with lots of history along the way and a special doggy door to end the walk. Cornwall is full of interesting facts & mysteries about the past. I love the folklore. I long to come back. It's been too long. Lots of seaglass too as an added bonus. Lovely stuff. Makes me smile each week :-)) J xx
@@CornishWalkingTrails I thought of you on Thursday; we have a charity shop a few miles away that is 100% craft shop. They had hundreds of those threads you use for your seaglass pictures, all brand new - 30p each! You would have loved it!
Beautiful walk Sarah and Andrew and doddie. Thankyou ,it was lovely to hear you say the about the warmth from the sun on the water. It was such a beautiful October day
Well!! that was fun, THE STAR of this, WAS YOUR GORGEOUS DOGGIE, 2nd was, the spectacular scenery and thirdly. the facts, especially about the lighthouse and the dog door. If I was your doggie I wouldn’t have give you the stick either, but to beat that was the look on his face of complete expectation at the ice cream ha ha!! Another entertaining & enjoyable video - and such a lovely day to explore Mullion Cove with its super harbour. 10/10 guys, brilliant.
Thanks CWT for this video .It brought back happy memories of our cavalier who we lost in the second lockdown. That's her in my profile pic. The longing look at the ice cream and when it was offered .. gone in one mouthful! Loving your work .
Loved the Echiums, and good you got your ice cream, now you can call that walk the Echi-Yum trail. 'Coastal Erosion',it's not just a Bluff! Hey doggy, how did you feel about being kicked out of church- Ruff! : )
Yet another fun walk and I think Andrew is spot on with his slogan 'Get Lost with Cornish Walking Trails' get it printed on canvas bags mugs tea towels and t shirts. I would definitely buy a bag xx
Wonderful walk!...24ct entertainment. I think I've developed a fixation with Cornish granite!...something to do with the colours/patterns/solidity/resilience. A joy to see doggie's patience rewarded with Andrews ice-cream : ) Just the ticket for these strange times we're living through...bless you! 😊
A great lil video again guys, always cheers me up to see your smiley faces on your walks and its always funny when you play with your dog i have a proper giggle over that, im just hoping he improves on the terrible dad jokes haha 🤞🤣
Just subscribed to your channel. I love Mullion beautiful place. I'll be back in September and can't wait. Last time was a few years ago to visit Geoffrey wellum's grave and to lay some flowers. He is one of my heroes. Fantastic channel with great informative videos.
I am absolutely in love with your channel! I cannot wait to walk the trails where you two have such wonderful laughs, beautiful views, and share amazing historical facts. A very pleasant walk💯,spectacular cliff tops enhancing far reaching sea views especially when Sarah was walking along alone 'as comfortably as she could'! Haha can never catch a 🐕 with a stick in his mouth he's just awarded himself with!! Yes, never a good idea to build a 🏠 too near the coastline however tempting. Btw I watch all the ads for support. Does that help at all?
Lovely! Yes, the ads do help us, we are now covering the costs of parking! We are still way too small to be anything more than a hobby but it all helps! Thanks, Sarah :)
I like the slogan, "Get lost - w/Cornish Walking Trails!" Another lovely walk chock-full of interesting local tid-bits. Never knew dogs were allowed in church, lambs weren't allowed in school. Must've been quite wee dogs to fit thru those tiny door-flaps!
@@CornishWalkingTrails Never tried getting away w/it myself as I've never kept a lamb, but according to the children's song, "Mary Had a Little Lamb...it followed her to school one day, which was against the rule," causing this to happen: "And so the teacher turned him out, but still he lingered near," and so on... Bahhh.
A beautiful walk I loved it I been to Muillion for our holiday in 1996 last week in August and 1st week September laughing still at the dog door at the church so funny 😂 .Your dog eating the Andrew rest off his ice cream 🤣🤣🤣your boy enjoy that icecream canit look forward to your both next video walking trail stay safe .
Oh what a wonderful hike, fantastic pictures your rating 10/10 does not fit the hike is perfect. I have included them in my hiking navigation program and saved them for the next vacation in Cornwall. The sky in the Corona time is wonderful, we were on a North Sea island in September and had the same sky. It is extremely blue and the white clouds look like 3 dimensional. I haven't seen a sky like this since I took pictures (30 years). That is something positive about Corona. I'm looking forward to your next video. Greetings Günter and stay healthy.
10/10 to you two for this beautiful video interesting history and of course your lovely dog (no need for the dog door for this wonderful one) Thank you
What a beautiful piece of coastline, and Mullion looks absolutely lovely ❤ I have already made a note on Google Maps for a possible swim at Polurrian beach when I get there. And such luck you had to find a piece of blue sea glass 👌🏻😂 I enjoyed watching you and listen to all the interesting stories - including the one about the dog door 😁 Torunn 😍

I have that exact book and have done that walk. Although I would do the walk the opposite way round as then you go down the steep steps onto Pollurian beach and then up the more gentle slope path back up towards the village. I didn't read the info regarding the lighthouse in that book though, so its interesting to hear about that. I live in Mullion and never tire if the walks round here.
Hello Sarah and Andrew, so happy you didn’t have any run ins with mud! Looked like such a beautiful day and the sun just made the sea shimmer so gorgeously, as far as the dog door goes, only small dogs would have a chance fitting through there lol 😂 Every time I hear the name Tarquin, I think of Keeping up Appearances , Sheridan’s friend “Tarquin “ lol, hope you all are anticipating the Christmas holiday , we are in complete Christmas mode here, despite the Spring like weather! Sending much happiness your way!! Lori
Hi Lori, We are getting ready in a whirlwind! I have been so busy with the channel that I had that sudden moment of realisation that Christmas is looming and I had not done a thing! What a difference a weekend will make - the house is decorated and I finally made a Christmas cake, wrote the cards and started the shopping! Sarah :)
Always great to see another video from you. I wondered if you have walked the Lamorna coastal path starting at the Cove and heading up to Carn Barges, the Derek Tangye Minack Chronicles site, Tater Dhu lighthouse and the old quarry, part of which eroded away. It's an interesting walk. Pauline.
We have walked it, when the children were small, clambering over big granite boulders, but not filmed it for the channel! We aim to cover the whole coast path eventually so its on the list! Sarah :)
Interesting! I was thinking that the beach would have come first and then the coastal path when they were trying to quell smuggling! But I guess you need a path to the beach in the first place! Sarah :)
