Ive watched this 6 times now and tears every time. Gets me when Tamu looks at the camera at the beginning. This is probably her way of getting through the turmoil right now. I think im more sad for the rest of the band than Saki leaving.
"Life" was the last song SAKI posted on their TH-cam channel. This is Tamu's answer. I think she is really angry. Nemophila was just on her way to fame and success. All gone. It's so bitter. 😖 Excerpt from the lyrics of LIFE: "Broken by the hands of others The future of those faded goals was also a continuation of it
Now it's set in motion, my life I turn my back on the jagged footprints that lead here I smile a thank you I will live on strong, with my head held high Even if you mess up It's ok unless you go back to zero again Even if you get hurt Forward, forward, forward, push on through now" 🥺
Tough times, but Nemophila and their fans will persevere like we did (Lovebites fans). Wish Saki the best in her next journey. Love to Nemophila and their fans. 🙏

@@HarveyAnk As long as she hasn't said anything about it, none of us know what she thinks about it and what has happened between the band members. I only know how I would react and I interpret her facial expressions as anger and despair. Saki wants to continue playing Nemophila songs and not just her own new ones. She has already announced a concert. Just without the other four. And it's not the first time she's suddenly left a band. She's already done that with Mary's Blood.
Hey Rick, This such a incredible performance. I love this band as much as the other and feel the pain. However, I thank Tamu Murata from the bottom of my heart for posting this. It makes the whole situation easier; even though I’m crying my heart out.
Tamu always reminds me of Jukka Nevalainen (-ex Nightwish drummer) in the way she fully embodies the music with her whole self - skillful, yes, and tightly controlled but at the same time there is something almost wild, almost feral. She doesn't just play the music, she throws herself into it. The first time we heard this song she was also crying, for a different reason...feeling the embrace of her new musical family. Now that family is changing, and there are tears again. Some of them are mine. Nemo will be okay in the long run, but there's no denying this hurts right now.

This track seems to make all of them emotional almost every time I see them play it, so I assume the same goes for this playthrough and Saki's guitar short as well. It also seems to be from their first single as well, so I am sure it's one of the first tracks they made together.

This song makes me emotional at the best of times but under the current situation it just hurts even more. I'm so used to having Hazuki on the left channel and Saki on the right. I think they will aim to replace Saki in the long term, not because Hazuki isn't capable on her own, but having two guitarists play off of each other is such a large part of Nemophila's sound.

the lyrics of the song fit well the mood I'm sad for her , I remember she said she was so happy when saki said she wanted to join the band , she said me too right away
Japanese bands work hard, and when someone has a change of creative ideas, this can be so difficult for others. Tamaru san has always been full of smiles, this is a woman who has put her heart on her sleeve with an emotional display of what she knows best, and that is to perform a song that means so much to her. I feel her emotional pain. I do hope that NEMOPHILA continues with the strength and power . Her smile will return and kowning the Japanese sense of team and of doing their best, they will rally together and support each other. I am a new English fan, and I love who they are and their incredible musicianship. Keep ROCKIN girls we as fans support always ❤
This was the song they made when she came back from having a baby they told her the drum parts the video shows them as sisters in this video eyes glassy she’s mouthing the lyrics and you see her take breaths to not break down and cry
It's nice how everyone is trying to support Sake. But there has to be a bunch of hurt for the rest of the girls to deal with. As well as confusion on top of it all. Best wishes to them.
@@manutdrule91 But that is pretty much the saying most musicians say when they leave a band. I been in a number of bands in my life. There is more to it than musical direction. Always is. Also it might not be something bad either. Saki been wanting to do more music she likes and she has spoken about it in the past. It does not mean the music the other 4 are wanting to do will be bad just Saki feels like she is done and can offer no more to that style. Which she is wrong she can. She always can offer something. But if her heart is not truly in it no more than moving on is probably the right thing for here and the rest of the band.
The video description the phrase "yoroshiku onegaishimasu" which has various possible meanings depending on the context. I took it to meaning "please take care of me" in the context of her being sad Saki departed and she's hoping the fans will keep Nemophila in their hearts as well as Saki.
You know on some level that the only thing she hears when she is doing this is every single note that Saki is playing. It is so sad when someone like this, or Akane, who do nothing but smile through everything they play have to go through something like this (or worse).
I don't know how Nemophila will be able to play their current catalog of music with one guitar, Hazuki is incredible, however she's not 2 people, there's no replacement for Saki, however I hope that maybe they can take a hint from Lovebites and fill the position, and who knows, with what I've experienced over the last 8 years of Japanese rock/metal, one thing is clear, there's plenty of talent in Japan, just look a Tamu as one example, she can rival Hana at playing multiple instruments, she's even a substitute member of Gacharic Spin for those who don't know, I can only have hope for the future of Nemophila, and wish everyone involved the best.
I'm probably reading too much into it, and we'll probably never know, but at times in this video I get the feeling that Tamu is letting out more than just her sadness on the drum kit. The line between sadness and anger indeed seems to be a very fine one.... How this anthem suddenly has a completely different mood.... Yes, it's selfish of me, but not once to have had the chance to hear this song, which for me is generally one of the all-time greats, live in person, in its original version, hurts.
I don't think it's any coincidence she chose this song for this either. It's the embodiment of how they'll need to approach this to move on. I got really choked up when it hit Saki's solo because you can almost see in Tamu's eyes that she finally opened up right then. It's almost like the solo finally helped her figure out how to tell everything to her 9 piece therapist and start to get her feelings off her chest.
The responses I've seen to the news of Saki leaving from the rest of the band, they seemed shocked that she left. Like there was no warning signs or anything. I could be wrong. But that's how it seems to me. How they are going to do their music live now I have no idea. Like you said, they need two guitars. Hazuki is very good no doubt. But this could really put all the pressure on her now. Just as they were hitting their strid this goes down. This may sound cold on my part. But it seems Saki has a history of being in bands and bailing after a few years. Maybe I'm wrong on that, I don't know. That could make it difficult on the rest of Nemophila when it comes time to move forward on if they decide to pick another guitarist or not. I hope this don't spell the end of the band. They are too good for that to happen. Personally, I think they should stick to the two-guitar system they had going. Works really well for them. The trick is finding the right person to join the band. If that's the route they go. I do like her home electronic kit. I wouldn't mind having one myself. I wonder what brand it is.
I agree that they need another guitarist to keep their signature sound. The double lead brilliance is one of the things that sealed my love for them! Saki left some big shoes to fill. I'm sad that Nemo didn't fill all of her musical needs and aspirations. She will be missed.
Guys, I can't imagine a band like Nemophila ever playing with just one guitarist. I am convinced they will find a support guitarist. The 4 other girls are better than they know themselves to be. It will be like with Lovebites, there will still be great times for us fans with Nemophila. Women like Miho or Saki have been in bands for 15 years. They have put their private lives on the back burner and have always been there for their bands. As the years go by, you can understand that these women need a little more free time for their private lives. That's completely understandable from a human point of view. 🧐
Guess Tamu gets to beat the drums in style to express her frustration. She'll be fine. Hope the other members are doing fine too. This wish extends to Saki (who I have this niggling feeling, may not have really wanted to part ways but I can't prove this obviously, it's just a feeling). Eventually, everyone will be ok, but yeah, these are tough times.
SYNERGY is so important with a musical group. The risk going forward lies with Saki, not Nemophila...they will be fine and even STRONGER after this trial.
Get on Tamu's new drum cover she just put up of ZEN. I think its for all the people who said she didnt smile on her last upload. Which she did do a little, she even bites the head off a ginger bread man 😅😂😂
No wonder she is emotional... I believe she is a bit sensitive too? Maybe not as much as Mayu. Still... Saki leaving at this stage might create some tension and fear that somebody else got the same thoughts? They say they would continue as a 4 piece, but still be cool if they pulled in a session to fill the sound a bit. Though i believe the style is a bit of, maybe Lisa-X could step in? Since it would ease things considering scheduling concerts etc? Still.. sad to see her leave.
Everyone loves Li-sa-X. Hazuki knows Li-sa very well. They play together in KOIAI. Li-sa could certainly do it if she wanted to. Everyone would support that move. But I think Hal-Ca would be a really good fit for Nemo.
Looked like a therapy session. You know, Nemophila's Wikipedia page says Tamu only decided to join Nemophila after Saki joined. I'm afraid for what that implies.
Every successful band in history has gone through line-up changes. It happens. Nemo will find a replacement, and come back strong. Hal-Ca gets my vote.

Thank you I am happy someone said it haha. People are assuming and projecting there own emotions through this. Sure the band is sad and figuring some things out. But it is kinda silly people on here saying how yes I can see this is how she is feeling or she is mad or blah blah. I can see it in her eyes or her drumming. I can smell it in the air. lol ok that last part I added. I like this band a lot and they will eventually move on and figure everything out. But damn the fanbases are so dramatic.
@@Reaper77-wn7ot exactly. Some of these fans are reminding me of BabyMetal fans and that’s not a good thing. The other thing I’m sick of hearing is fans trying to predict who’s gonna replace saki. Ummm. They stated that they will continue as a four piece. What about that didn’t they understand??
@@TheRobsam well that is the nature of any fan base honestly. Yes they did say they will continue on as a 4 piece. That could always change. Im not going to lie. I am one of those that think and hope they eventually bring in someone new. Why? Because all their music up to this point has been a twin guitar attack. How are they gonna play those songs live? Backtrack is good for some things but not dueling solos and the solos this band plays. Maybe they bring in someone like Marys Blood did. These kinda of speculations and questions I dont mind. But the guessing game with different names is silly on who could replace is. I have no doubt these ladies as 4 can crank out great music. But how do you play all the current songs with just one guitar? We will find out in time what they decide to do.
@@Reaper77-wn7ot Hazuki can easily play everything Saki played. It’s a matter of beefing up Hara chans bass to cover the missing rhythm guitar. It’s not as hard as many are trying to make it. They won’t be using any more tracks than they already run.
@@TheRobsam No doubt Hazuki can do it and yes more beefed up bass can help in some situations. But a number of their songs don't have straight up rhythm guitar during solos. Its was Saki and Hazuki soloing off each other while Haraguchi and Tamu kept the beat. I see where you are co ming from but for those songs to have any power like they previously did a second guitarist at least live would make it much better. If not they reform the solos and cut them short. Hazuki plays a mixture of hers and what Sakis was and it ends up being a shorter solo section. But that is one of the best things about Nemophila. That two guitar attack which is missing in so much of todays metal. I will support them whatever they decide to choose but there is a ton of talent guitarist in Japan that can feel that role.
DID SAKI GET INTO TROUBLE FROM THE LABEL BECAUSE SHE DRESSED SUPPER SEXY DURING THE LIVE ALBUM REVEAL? SHE ALSO DID THE "KANJI" CALLIGRAPHE SAYING SHE WAS A SEXY ROCK OR METAL CHICK?
people should let Saki be left alone there is 100s who leave bands and start new every year and all those jmetal bands had 10s of members Saki belongs to Mary's Blood not a teenager punk metal band
Nemophila is a highly respected super group and the members have formed deep connections through their journey. Its not just business. People going through breakups don't feel better by just hearing that people break up all the time... There always needs to be a process and emotions. Saki did not say she quit to go back to Mary's blood. Her ultimate dream is to become like Steve Vai or Yngwei Malmsteen
Stupidest thing I read all day. Saki always smiled off and on. She was the same way in Marys Blood too. Plus you have no fing clue what is going on in the band right now. SMH

@@powbobsshe left because of the music direction that the band was going. It was mentioned in their announcement

A small woman needs little space for big emotions
The video description the phrase "yoroshiku onegaishimasu" which has various possible meanings depending on the context. I took it to meaning "please take care of me" in the context of her being sad Saki departed and she's hoping the fans will keep Nemophila in their hearts as well as Saki.
Not one smile.
Tamu and Saki are good friends.
I wonder what will happen.
You know on some level that the only thing she hears when she is doing this is every single note that Saki is playing. It is so sad when someone like this, or Akane, who do nothing but smile through everything they play have to go through something like this (or worse).
Sad news indeed, wish saki all the Best.
No giving up - this struggle is the mark of life
I don't know how Nemophila will be able to play their current catalog of music with one guitar, Hazuki is incredible, however she's not 2 people, there's no replacement for Saki, however I hope that maybe they can take a hint from Lovebites and fill the position, and who knows, with what I've experienced over the last 8 years of Japanese rock/metal, one thing is clear, there's plenty of talent in Japan, just look a Tamu as one example, she can rival Hana at playing multiple instruments, she's even a substitute member of Gacharic Spin for those who don't know, I can only have hope for the future of Nemophila, and wish everyone involved the best.
Oh man..😭❤️🔥
Welcome to the cheap acoustic guitars smashed in anger/despair club 😣. Her dignified prestation says ten times more than any long speech.
This song is another example of the need for two guitars in Nemophila. They gotta get Narumi. She matches so well with Hazuki, it's a no-brainer.
Hal-Ca gets my vote. She will bring fresh energy to the band.
@@TheCyberMantisDisagree, Haruka's playing style and creativity would be completely stifled playing in this band.
@@guitarzen5999 Not if they let her do her thing. That would be a condition of her joining the band.
Narumi (or Li-Sa X, sometime suggested) has few stage presence. Hal-Ca is a great performer, not only an amazing guitarist.
@@christophedelvaux8881 Bingo. You are correct.
TAMU !!! 🔥🤘
I'm glad I got to see them on their U.S. tour, but I took for granted there would be more.
There could very well be more. You dont know/.
@@Reaper77-wn7ot I hope they stay together and get a replacement. But I'm glad I got to see them before Saki left.
This Little Pounder Can Play In Any Band I’ve Been In! Who Is She Watch For Her In The Next Band Maids Or Upcoming Band!
it's as if she's all cried out.
What a great song. Like everyone, I sure hate to hear this news. Thanks for the video.
Roland V-Drums.
@@TheCyberMantis thanks
I agree that they need another guitarist to keep their signature sound. The double lead brilliance is one of the things that sealed my love for them! Saki left some big shoes to fill. I'm sad that Nemo didn't fill all of her musical needs and aspirations. She will be missed.
Tamu Tamu Tamu!
I highly doubt Lisa-x is going to join someone else’s band.
@@powbobs If the band is mega stars, and the money is big enough, never say never. But I don't think NEMO is at that level yet.
Wave how about playing "Brightness" just to drive home how great a musician Saki really is.
Looked like a therapy session. You know, Nemophila's Wikipedia page says Tamu only decided to join Nemophila after Saki joined. I'm afraid for what that implies.
Qué tristeza más grande del mundo siento! Lo siento amigo pero no puedo escribir 😢
Every successful band in history has gone through line-up changes. It happens. Nemo will find a replacement, and come back strong. Hal-Ca gets my vote.
Not All.

Nah we're seeing pretty much the same in her eyes
😢
Seems to me that people are seeing a lot that isn’t actually there. The projection of what you think she feels doesn’t make it true.
I will support them whatever they decide to choose but there is a ton of talent guitarist in Japan that can feel that role.
reminds me when yui left babymetal .
I wonder if NEMOPHILA will be looking for a new guitarist?? Or the band will continue like this without a new guitarist.
Maybe Lisa X will replace Saki....
Nope. I still can't get through the whole of it.
