Thank you Sir. What you saw can't be unexplained. It was real!! I was stationed in Augsburg German from 1967 till October 1970. I went to Dachau and could not believe the way the people were treated. It was a Death Factory that I will never forget and this was 25 years years after they were liberated. God bless you and all the Veterans of WWII. Please let you all rest in pease.
Salute Thank you sir for your service..! Men from the Greatest Generation fought , died and survived - endured the Horros of Wars so later generations wouldn't have too...! " Lest We Forget..! "
I salute you Sir ! You and your boys were tough! Korean and Vietnam veterans were bad asses too! Much respect for all my brothers and sisters. Veteran First Infantry Division Fort Riley.
Thanks for your service. Some of those sites must have haunted you. Plus seeing how inhumain a so called human could treat another. I hope you found peace from these sites and thoughts !!
I visited Dachau on a cold winter afternoon in 1970. I had been in Vietnam three months earlier and had been traveling in Europe ever since. I arrived very late in the afternoon with two other visitors , a beautiful Braniff stewardess and her mother traveled with me, Charlotte Bodecker of Dallas. We almost got locked into the camp because the guards were eager to go home and didn’t realize there were any visitors. It was very eerie, the presence of evil.😅
The 42nd Rainbow Division suffered no alphabet soup or other such nonsense. They were the pot of gold to those they liberated. I miss this fine generation so much.
As soon as I heard "Dauhau" I knew it was going to be bad. That by far is what everyone called the worst camp ever. Even people who went to other ones.
God love him , thankful for him telling the story when some still say it never happened. God rest those people

For context, he’s seen the horror of war… and Dachau left an impression.
Yes, you can tell he's seeing it again while he's speaking.
This man saw hell, true warriors, the greatest generation of men that ever lived

I've got the highest respect for you and all the men and women who sacrificed their life to stop the tyranny .I wish I was there by your sides
My grandfather was in the 42nd. I knew he was with the first group to liberate that camp, but this guy said more about it than grandpa ever did.

The eye witnesses are almost all gone.
Greatest Generation, we wouldn’t be here if these brave warriors didn’t face down evil!🇺🇸🙏
