I had the privilege of being around Ed briefly during my enlistment in the Marines. I was with 2/2. Ed lived next door to me in the barracks. He was our platoon Corpsman. I was one of the junior Marines. I remember when he left for buds. Next time I saw him was on tv receiving the Medal of Honor. Ed is an extraordinary individual. I'm not at all surprised by his successful military career. Good job Ed. Like I said it was a privilege to be around you.
Drago ??? Seriously, dude ?? How F'n awesome is it you were born and raised in another country, a communist country, a convicted convict in your country, came to America, learned our language, graduated from one of the toughest selection courses offered in America and then served our country admirable !! At the age of 33 no less !! Thank the both of you for my freedom !!
I have a relative that was on the tea pms with Drago… he had nothing but high praise and said that man is an absolute beast! Thank you for serving and not becoming some influencer that exaggerates stories!!
It is wonderful to see these two men together. Drago is always a joy to listen to, especially when he talks about his gratitude of being an American. Ed is always humble and does a wonderful job representing the Medal of Honor. These men are American heroes!
I`m an old fleet navy sailor. I never knew anybody in the teams until i went to recruiting duty in San Diego. The movie with Charlie Sheen had just come out "Navy SEALS" and everybody in the door wanted to be a SEAL lol. So, I would take them to Coronado where BUDS is and let them take a look at the training and talk to a couple of SEALs. I got to know a few and had them come to some high schools and colleges to talk to students. let me tell you, they`re really different; their mindset. Physically, they look like they`re in good shape, nothing crazy, but mentally, they`re just...different. Great guys!
Wow! Really really interesting! I watched the BUDS training show and live in San Diego so it’s really nice to hear this from guys who succeeded, especially a MOH recipient and Drago who came from Eastern Europe communism and wanted to give back to his new country. Impressive!
Well, I can say for me, at least, this, these 2 are damned heros to me and I'm damned mighty proud to have men like these 2 here in America yet today. America will not and can not fall.... ever
Does anyone have any more information about the class before Ed's that did only 3 days for Hell Week instead of 5.5 days? What does Ed mean when he says the instructors secured the class early and the Commander made the instructors own it?
With men of such character and courage as this in our country how do our political parties produce such useless candidates? Look around. It’s not that hard to find people who aren’t dingbats.
I think the biggest misconception about the Navy SEALs is that they're all high-level martial artists who spend most of their time engaged in elaborate martial arts activities.
Great interview. This is how they should be done: pose the question and just let them speak. Sounds simple but all too often on other formats there appears to be a push to get on to the next question.

That's pretty cool, reach out to him and see if he remembers you!

We need more of these SEALs on TH-cam than the other types that suck the oxygen out of the algorithm.
Drago Dzieran just makes people smile while watching this.
Drago is what we want as an immigrant. Become an American, give back. Don't just take. Two American heros!!!
Outstanding interview!!!
lol who is we?
I’m astonished at how ignorant that comment was. Even more astonished that you probably have no clue why.
Every immigrant i know works harder than most Americans. They are the only reason America is competing with other nations.

That guy drago is a guy you would pray to have on your team. Great guy
Drago is like a real life 1980's Jean Claude Van Damme movie
The real Drago I MUST BREAK YOU lol!!
Two very admirable men.
Drago is the man! Love his story!
Thankful!
2 very humble and outstanding American's--Thank you for your service!

-former Navy Nurse. Listening to these men made me fell safer all over again.God bless you and your families.

Great interview!! I'm very proud as a veteran myself that we have dedicated men and women willing to serve this country.
Ed Byers is one hell of an exemplary man
Two fantastic warriors and great men.
Both are humble warriors...
Great interview. Two very different backgrounds came together.
Fantastic mantra: embrace the suck
A great example of why some people should be more open minded.
Very interesting!
Drago - “56 degree water is not cold, I wash my bolls in ice vater”
Drago is awesome 👏
Love seeing these two in the room together! Awesome interview and conversation between two legends.
To Drago, BUDS was like vacation, lol
I don't know about you all, but watching this interview has never made me more proud to be American!
Well, I can say for me, at least, this, these 2 are damned heros to me and I'm damned mighty proud to have men like these 2 here in America yet today. America will not and can not fall.... ever
Being damned is a negative thing. Those that are damned usually go meet Lucifer.
It didn’t get your point across any better or enhance your statement
I wish i could train and go thru buds, etc and being 64 would i need a Presidential sign off to do it?
Two American legends and absolute badasses!

Drago Legend 💪👍❤️

Bravo Zulu!
I want to know what happened with the 3 day Hell Week
Thank you thank you thank you both!
Drago was on team 6
No he wasn't. He was on 2 and 4
No but Ed Byers was on Team 6

Ed. The guy that leaves ppl behind.
Drago is a Patriot. An example to any Immigrant who legally wants to become part of this great nation.
Went to prison in a communist country, immigrated to the US, AND became a navy SEAL? That is bizzare AF, but he definitely deserves to be in the USA!
The American people shouldn't even know these guys exist
He might be a hero but man that suit jacket really sucks
It's hard to believe them now that we all know how much they lie
Pretty common sight- two ex seals blowing each other...
Seek salvation:
John 1:1-14
John 3:16
Romans 10:9
Two American Legends for me.🥰😍🤗❤🤍💙💯
These are REAL MEN!!! God bless you for your service and patriotism!
Damned straight 👊
