I wouldn't be surprised if there are millions of channels that are just out right stealing content. What they do is just create army's of AI bots that each have their own channels and it's coming back to one person racking in millions that in my opinion should be taken right back from them because they did it against TOS and with plagiarism and could even argue against copyright. I was almost a victim. I saw a small spike out of nowhere about a year ago of 50 subscribers all at once join in then suddenly I start seeing my videos get clipped and remixed. I went to see the channels and they were all opened that day. No subscriber and just going through TH-cam and ripping content. I yanked the videos and deleted them to take them out of the hands of that person. Disabled clipping on the channel and stopped remixes. Suddenly those 50 subs dropped out. Thing is those channels made no changes at all they clipped and remixed my videos as is and just posted on their channel. I was able two report 2 of them before the rest dropped off. I have a normal slight paranoia so I'm always rechecking seeing. Looking to see what channels are clipping and remixing videos if any and just surfing TH-cam to see if any of my videos come up on other channel and typically once found I report it and report the channel as well. My suggestion to TH-cam would be if they could build some kind of content I'd system that in a way scans for similar videos it could be an idea where if the same voice, same words, and similar visuals are detected then the original creator can strike to or claim it and the bad actors get nothing out of stealing the content. Then train some form of AI on different methods and ways that content is stolen to be a step ahead and try to catch as much theft as possible. The whole point point is use the power of Google / TH-cam technologies and algorithms to devise a system that can be used similar to the copyright system so that if it's stolen at least the original creator makes the money instead of the bad actor. It's just a thought I'm sure the engineers and designers and program can enhance it much more but as someone who isn't any of that I can only provide a high level view of an idea. Hope this is helpful. Another thing what I've seen some creators do is water mark their content in multiple ways even with a moving water mark to make it as difficult as they possible can for the bad actors to steal. And If stolen it would be obvious. And could be easily reported with proof that it's stolen.
There are a lot of AI programs now that will create your 100% of your content, script, voice over, editing, music....we are about to see some crazy stuff happen. You're 100% right, the platforms need better detection.

Good video. This issue is basically a form of plagiarism. An issue that was bad in the analog world and is now worse in the digital world because anyone can do it. Plagiarism is a game of Whac-A-Mole. You never eliminate it, but you can reduce it. AI was created with plagiarism because it stole everyone's ideas and claimed them as its own. The result of all this copying will be a world that is less creative overall, because there is less incentive for people to create new ideas. Why bother when someone will just steal your new idea and make money with it…and you will get little to none. This means the internet will mainly consist of the same old recycled ideas. The net will become so boring that it may be more interesting to go for a walk in the park.

Yes but it's even worse because instead of just one spin off the same channel maker will take a video and upload to many channels that are all the same yet tweaked slightly - they all have a similar voice over and look and feel...it's what you mentioned on steroids with so many variations and all gaining views within a very short period of time...or they take someone like Joe Dispenza, do a voice like his and spin out content that's not what he would say at all...if it were that's one thing yet to have his voice updating what he actually believes is heart breaking...the end result is not just copying yet changing a lot of what the actual content is so that the message can be harmful recommending things that he and others like him wouldn't at all recommend...it's skewing the philosophy of a lot of the self help...now imagine this for history and many other things, it's impossible to see a clip and know if it's that person or not...what this means? Groups of people sharing channel makers who are actually people and bypassing the algo...keep it real and share the content with real people not AI.

Faceless channel creator here and honestly i don't like channels that do what you're saying, but i also don't appreciate getting lumped into being just like those channels. Some of us just like privacy and that's fine, i don't agree with stealing others content and repurposing it.
Agree, if the faceless content is original and interesting entertaining, then who cares how it was created. So you better not use a computer to edit, you better go back and start cutting film and splicing with tape like a real man. You better be writing your scripts with a pointy feather.... My point is AI is here to stay, stealing is obviously wrong, but you can't bag on AI and faceless. If it is boring and not entertaining then bag on it. Like my content. I know it sucks. =) but I really want to talk about social justice and I don't have a production studio to make it happen so... ai it is.
@@NowForEquality but you CAN bag on using ai to scrape transcripts to rewrite scripts on a subject you don't care about, to create some easy content to put up to make money. That's the problem. Make faceless vids, I don't care. Just be original.
I've noticed this faceless channel copying trend too, and it's incredibly frustrating. I recently watched a video by Ruff and found it really insightful. It's a great channel in the self-improvement niche. To my shock, right after watching Ruff's video, TH-cam suggested another video with almost the exact same script. The hook, the content, everything was identical, except they used Studio Ghibli animation. It was infuriating to see this copycat getting so much praise and attention for stolen content. I ended up finding several channels doing the same thing. And they all use the same type of animation, Studio Ghibli. Only one of them credited Ruff in the description. It's not okay to copy almost 100% of someone else's work. As a creator of a faceless channel myself, I always make sure to put my own unique spin on topics. It takes a lot of time and effort to create original content.
Showing my face in the audiobooks niche sounds very cringy. Actually whenever I tried to do that, people start to unsubscribe. And the flood of AI-generated nonsense is just insane. They mostly don't get a lot of views though, so I'm betting on sitting out until this bubble will implode.
There will definitely be an implosion at some point. The cream will rise to the top, but the inherent problem with faceless is that it can be automated by AI....and that makes it really easy to exploit.
Are you that jealous of people making more money, because they are smarter and willing to put in the work than you? They found out an idea to make it successful, while you are here crying with the channel you know will never get any potential in the youtube scene.
I watched the video until the end and when I looked at the number of followers, I said, "Wow, what quality content." I am also a Turkish content creator. In the future, I will start doing it in English (with my own voice and accent). Please continue to raise voices on this issue.
I think humans will become increasingly hesitant to have faceless channels because of how much of that category is becoming AI generated. What do others think?
