I love this community i recently started a gaming channel and i see how my shorts grow and videos. I like the proces and have patience. I wish u all good luck in life and if u also have a channel keep it up 😊
about 8 months ago i noticed a huge decrease in my views. it was like a literally switch was flipped. they stopped showing my vids on search all together and all i can get is reccomendations now and its significantly lower than before. I feel like youtube shorts has alot to do with this. has this happened to anybody else?
Any idea what’s going on with algorithm? In this month every uploaded short takes 24-48 hours to get shown in the feed . And it shows it slowly for 48 hours that I have to admit is helpful when doing my Friday upload. But it always cuts me off around 500 views even with over 100% retention rates. But it can also be problematic when uploading time sensitive info about autumn sightseeing timing in mountains here in Japan . So yesterdays upload is going to colIide with my usual final Friday episodes of arctic nature series on Friday that my few followers looks
Here's an update we need: how about not letting disgraced sexual predators return to the platform without consequence? How about not having an exclusive bias towards the biggest/wealthiest/most lucrative creators when it comes to enforcing policy and copyright strikes? What about the algorithm? Why can't they tell us how it actually works and what their logic is regarding its implementation? How about bringing back custom thumbnails for nonmonetized channels? TH-cam STILL doesn't care about small channels. You have to pay money for advertizement and algorithm bias. It still sounds like a load of shit to me.
I have noticed the push in the app for super thanks. They have turned the airplane send button into a super thanks heart until you start writing a comment this prevented me from commenting on a videos for a long time. I hate the super thanks system.
10:07 is that their goofy version of a hype train on twitch? Also, I think you would be surprised how much money viewers throw at streamers on twitch. It kind of sickening honestly. I’ve watched thousands of dollars of subs come in for streamers in a matter of just five minutes. Streams set up for media share where the whole stream is just viewers paying $2/second to have the streamer watch a video. I’m surprised you aren’t aware of this.

My main channel (Don Lyfe) used to get hundreds of thousands of views, now I’m not even pulling in hundreds anymore.
Yep happened to me too. A sharp drop and I didn't do anything different. YT is getting harder not easier with so many changes.

Custom thumbnails only need you to verify your phone number... No need for monetization
