    I got the F750gs, same engine Less Money, yes I know differences, I say F750 more fun on the ROAD, still has enduro mode and does dine on moderate dirt roads, you can still put 80-20 tireson if you do that a lot, seen LOTS of videos with world riders exploring countrys on the 750 they love it. I hate they call it a 750

    The heat comes at stops in red light or heavy traffic in the summer. But only comes to adventure version because of the fariring and to tiger 900

    Thanks for the great review. I’m deciding between buying the 850 GSA and 900 Rally pro here in India. We only get the top spec versions( all packages included) and the 850 GSA costs about 10% less. Would love any perspective.

    I learned more about the 1250 gs than the 850, thanks. I dont get why people compare the 850 to the 1250 in reviews. Compare it to other mid size adventure bikes.

    I passed my test the other week on a 750gs. For my first bike I'm looking at Tracer 9 GT Plus or Tiger 900. I rode the Tracer 7 and Tracer 9 yesterday. The Tracer 9 was a better fit for me than the 7. I'll try and ride the Tiger next week.

      Note that the 2024 Tiger 900 will be more dynamic and handlebar's vibrations should be gone.

    about the f750gs... what cheep parts? the only differences would be:
    Wheels Sizing
    Mag wheels f750gs vs Spoked f850gs
    Shorter suspension travel on the f750gs
    Detuned engine - Its fast enough, but don't know why bmw decided to keep the power down. Its pretty annoying considering that tiger 900 gt pro and rally pro have the same amount of power.
    Thats all the differences that I see and considering the motorcycle is much cheaper and its meant to be on road bike I find it a real good value for short people and people that do 80%+ road riding like myself. I consider this bike 80+ road bike.

      There will be another review for 750 GS. It has pros and cons. If we talk about comparison with inexpensive Japanese competitors, the 750 GS interesting - rich package with cruise control, quickshifter, etc., increasing comfort. And yes, a great bike for short people!
      Suspensions are not only about reducing travel, the level of the fork lower at 750 GS.
      Comparison with the Tiger 900 GT... Triumph has a similar story with the Tiger 850, where the same engine as the Tiger 900 also has limited power. Actually, they tried to compete with the 750 GS, but not give a tasty price.

    • @mrsvetly
      @mrsvetly 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adv-moto this is true. They have different suspension, but for road and light offroad use is fine. It's a little soft but at the same time its not performance bike like the street triple (way different category bike) for example. Stiffer springs or oil would fix that problem. Will all the tech in the f750gs vs tiger 850 I would get the 750 (even tho I love the triple engine much more). If I had to choose between 750 and tiger 900 gt pro.... well the answer is obvious, lol. Again much higher price.

    this bike is most versatile in class, not to leave out by far most comfortable, best wind protection etc (speaking about F850GSA version), agree power wise it is not a rocket but I would not call it slugghish as I've ridden it for 30k km so far, and it overtakes as easy as feather with passenger and fully loaded with 3 full hard cases.... little too subjective....

    • @adv-moto
      @adv-moto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most versatile bike = bike, heavier than Tenere, 890, Norden, Tuareg, Tiger 900 Rally, Africa Twin 1100 & DesertX? Ok. Weak fork without adjustments? Ok.

    • @Igor12822

      @@adv-moto stronger and more comfortable then Tenere, Tuareg..... Not comparable.... Way more technology, refinement, power...
      Comfort paket
      Touring paket
      Dynamic paket
      Cruise control, quick shifter, keyless ride, full led lights, dynamic braking led light, electronic tyre pressure, tubeless tyres, dynamic esa, heated grips, enduro foot pegs, engine and tank crash bars, hand guards, 12V power socket, 6.5" TFT display, enduro pro ride mode chip, ABS pro - neither Tenere or Tuareg have 20% of this it's not possible even to compare those bikes to this ..890 yes, but it has way less comfort and wind protection as well as less reliable (especially 790), and Tiger and AT1100 are both fantastic bikes and same class and not much weight difference each has pluses and minuses, matter of preference... But GS whic goes to 20k euros with all afternarket equipment can't be compared with 10k euro bikes like Tenere , of course it's heavier it has million more things on it....

    Greetings, can I lower the front wheel of f850 gs? Seems every high to me.

    • @adv-moto
      @adv-moto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!
      There is a small mistake in the question. Lowering the front wheel does not lower the seat height, the seat drops when the shock absorber is lowered. However, when lowering front+rear suspension - not changes geometry of the motorcycle (fork angle). This is important thing.
      There are several options for lowering 850 GS:
      1. Simply buy low seat: -25mm (height 835mm).
      2. Lowered suspension option for BMW (front+rear), it makes sense when buying a new motorcycle: another -20 mm (height 815 mm with a lowered seat).
      3. Buy a suspension lowering kit (HyperPro, Touratech, etc.): -40 mm from the standard (height ~ 800 mm with a lowered seat).
      4. If that's a lot, the Honda Africa Twin 1100 is worth a look, which is pretty similar in specs to the 850 GS, but has more potential for lowering the suspension and seat. The final height of the seat can be achieved at the level of ~770 mm and it still bike with true offroad capabilities. Also a good option for a short stature is the KTM 790/890 Adventure, which can be achieved by lowering the seat by 780 mm, while the bike is much lighter with a very low center of gravity, it is easier to use in any situation.

    The 850 is NOT the 750 motor!

    • @adv-moto
      @adv-moto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Let's try from the other side. 850 GS and 850 GS for A2 license have different engines or the same?
      If the same, then what would be the difference between the 850 GS A2 and 750 GS A2 engines?
      If these are different engines, then when switching between Road and Dynamic modes, we will have different engines.

      @@adv-moto но здесь-то тоже акцент есть. У меня сильное ощущение, что это не носитель. Некоторые слова он просто коверкает (skills, grandma и много чего еще), если бы я не засмотрел до дыр русскую версию, то и не разобрал бы, что сказано. Плюс к переводу есть вопросы. Например, серпантин - это не serpentine, это grapevine (американцы скажут twisties). Да лучше бы просто winding road сказали. Сорри, что придираюсь - профдеформация, я сам переводчик. Не, в целом перевод нормальный. Просто нет-нет да мелькнёт русская конструкция в английском, неправильно выбранное слово. На любом другом канале пропустил бы мимо ушей. А у тебя топ-контент, поэтому слушаешь внимательнее и такие огрехи раздражают сильнее.
