Dooku turning to the dark side is such a tragedy. Imagine if Qui-Gon had lived, and Qui-Gon, Dooku, and Yaddle had enough of the Jedi Council's incompetence and so took Anakin, left the order, and went out into shadows of the galaxy to form a new Jedi Order, one that held to the true ways of the Jedi. When Palpatine takes over, they would appear again one day, with new true Jedi, and retake the Galaxy from Sidious, and guide the galaxy under the true will of the Force.

The prequel era Jedi Order alienated many great characters. Sifo Dyas, Qui-Gon, Ventress, Dooku, Barriss Offee, Ahsoka, Anakin. The bigger tragedy is the Council not seeing this.
Tales of the Jedi truly felt like original Star Wars. Last time we got content similar to this was Revenge of the Sith. Just subtle things like the scoring, framing, lighting, it all really felt like George’s operatic style. Really hoping Disney is smart and gives Dave another season. Would love to see other Tales some day!
Thing is if Yoda showed up Dooku wouldve definitely NEVER turned back to the light. From a story perspective Dooku would be way more willing to join Sidious instead of joining Yoda against him as he had disdain for Yoda.
If Dooku joined Yaddle and killed Sidious, Darth Jar-Jar would take Sidious’ place and convert Mace Windu to the dark side. Then you have all the same events as Episodes 1-3, except with Windu and JarJar taking the place of Dooku and Sidious. Support for this theory is the Windu-JarJar arc when they take down an entire, interplanetary magic cult.

Here’s a ‘what if’ I thought of after watching Tales. What if Dooku and Qui Gon started a new order together? Rather than Dooku bringing Qui Gon to the dark side, Dooku denounces the Sith and the Jedi order. In this scenario, Qui Gon is ALMOST killed by Maul. This is what causes Dooku to go directly to his old apprentice. Mace Windu spearheads a campaign against Dooku for the crimes he’d already committed up to that point. Sidious sees Dooku as a loose end in his plot to defeat the Jedi. Dooku, Qui Gon, and their new order based on truth must fight against both the Jedi and the Sith.
Where does that leave Obi-Wan and Anakin? Would they have joined this order? Anakin would probably go with Qui Gon, but would Anakin? They didn't always agree. Ahsoka would've not become Anakin's apprentice either. Would Plo-Koon have been her master?
@dissy I'm certain he would because he's ten years old,.and the Jedi don't want him. The only reason he was trained in the first place is that Obi-Wan refused to break his promise to fulfill Qui Gon's dying wish, despite the council's objections. I'm wondering more if Obi-Wan would've left the order if his master left and asked him to join him.
I think that more likely scenario would be that Yaddle would die (as you said, she lost even against Dooku) and that Dooku wouldn't manage to kill Sidious, nor win against him, however I do think that he'd be able to recognize when he's outmatched and would escape the situation, just like he did when he was outmatched by Yoda. He'd topple part of the building on top of Palpatine, and while Palpatine would try to save himself, Dooku would jump to the platform with Yaddle's ship (his own ship is to close to Palpatine, Palpatine might manage to cut its' engines with lightsaber) and escape. What he would do after that I'm not sure of. Yaddle as well as Qui-Gon are dead so he has noone that he could trust, and probably very few who would tolerate his crimes at that point. So it's pretty safe to say that he wouldn't go to the council right away. I think he'd try to get few Jedi whom he felt he could trust (I can think of only Kenobi) and talk to them about this first, and Palpatine would try to get rid of Dooku in some other way. He'd probably work out accusation against Dooku that he is the sith lord and that he's responsible for Yaddle's death.
@@thomasthetank827 Yaddle definitelly wouldn't. She didn't step back even when she was against Dooku and Palpatine. But Dooku already displayed enough wisdom to run from a fight that he realized he couldn't win. And considering that he ran from Yoda when he was more skilled in the dark side, then he'd definitelly try to run from Palpatine at this point.
@@fanta4897 no becauee in the new canon Dooku specifically mentions that he learned about strategic retreats from his master, Sidious. "Stories of the light and dark" canon book has Dooku covering the Dooku captures episodes. He talks about Anakins anger, and how that he could play a role in their plans. And yes again he mentions retreating, as something Palpatine taught him.
The fact that there’s only a handful of Sith saber victories made this even better. The way they took prequel characters and evolved them was so amazing
Part 2 idea: Maul and Sidious storm the temple, but Anakin, Obi-Wan and Mace are all still there of course, likely at the forefront of the battle first but then retreating to protect the younglings when they realised they could defeat the sith then and there. I think, come the time that Maul and Sidious reach the council room, Sidious would be able to distract Anakin with promises to save Padmé. While Skywalker is occupied, Maul would launch an attack from the side, bowing in the masters, younglings, adn jedi knight. It would be very close, but Maul and Sidious would take down Mace without significant injury, and then round on Kenobi. As skillful as Obi-Wan was with soresu, even his defense eventually fell to Sidious' attacks (at this point Anakin was busy defending a small group of remaining younglings from Maul). Anakin would see Sidious preparing to strike the final blow and force push maul against the far wall, similarly to how Sidious did in the main timeline. Anakin would use force speed to rush across to Kenobi and block Sheev's blow - inches from Obi-Wan's face. Sidious would back away, having seen Anakin's treatment of Maul, and try and use mindgames, threatening to end the younglings if Anakin didn't strike down his master and join Sidious. Right before Anakin had a chance to decide, Yoda appeared, green saber humming softly. Palpatine turned to face his rival, and engaged his own saber, only now drawing his second blade, not having needed it previously. With a flick of his wrist, he disarmed the distracted Kenobi (in both senses). Maul rushed at Anakin, Yoda rushed at Palpatine, and the room flashed with the power of their collision. Kenobi would grab the younglings and run, escaping via an unsupervised Y-wing. After a prolonged battle, Anakin would defeat Maul, in much the same way Kenobi had, over a decade prior. Grabbing Maul's fallen saber, Anakin went to the Grand Master's aid. All the time that their proteges had been battling, Sidious and Yoda had been evenly matched - perhaps with Sheev taking superiority by a whisker -, but now with Anakin's help, perhaps Yoda might win?... TBC
Oooh!~ I'm looking forward to Part 2. Although, I had a different scenario in mind for "Dooku joins Yaddle." Rather than the two of them simply taking Sidious head-on and getting utterly annihilated, maybe they retreat after realizing how outmatched they are so they can warn the Jedi council with holographic evidence of Sidious fighting them, or maybe the fight causes so much noise and commotion that the Jedi take notice and send in a platoon to investigate, forcing Sidious to flee.
I'd absolutely love to see more explored with Jango surviving! Maybe he ends up being arrested shortly after, so Palpatine organises The Bounty Hunter's Guild including Cad Bane, Aura Sing, Bossk and even Boba Fett to break him out Maybe he even sees Jango as a liability, so orders the three bounty hunters to use Boba to get to him, before attempting to kill them both So many opportunities could open up even without Jango being arrested! Hopefully you give this a read and like what you see, really looking forward to the next part!
Would love to see a version where Dooku or Yaddle order the other to go warn the council while they hold off Sidious, and see where that goes. The one to stay would definitely die, but Sidious would be forced to flee and completely change his plans
So here’s my take on the fanfic so far: There is a slim chance that Yaddle and Dooku could have survived this duel with Sidious because while I do agree they could not defeat him, Yaddle was on the Jedi High Council and those on the Council aren’t on there just because they were recommended by outside influences (looking at you Anakin). Also, Dooku is not only one of the best swordsmen in the Order, he’s also a powerful force user. While he might not be on the same level as Anakin, Sidious or Yoda, he could have done something.
Good points! Personally, I think that Dooku is calculating enough to realize he was in trouble as soon as Yaddle went down, and rather than attack Sidious in rage, Dooku would have tried to escape (and might have managed it). The question is where would he go from there? Obi-Wan would listen to him, but is too inexperienced and doesn't have enough cred with the council yet. Would he go to his other former student, and either present to the council together or form a third, rogue element? Or would this have shaken him enough that he would go to his own former master and confess his crimes to Yoda (personally and privately) in the hopes of rallying the kind of force that could take Sidious on? So many ways we could take this, lol
Great fan fiction! For part 2 I would like to see what you suggested at the end. For another one, maybe we could see Dooku and Yaddle escape from Sidious instead of defeating him.
I just hope he doesn't fan boy over sidious in a part 2 and act like maul + sidious could take out the entire temple, especailly with yoda, mace, anakin, obi, and everyone else present this time instead of being off world.
I think Palpatine was either very careless by meeting Dooku in person while leaving the door to the hangar open for anyone to spy on them or jump them, or he was fully prepared for such an outcome with either a foolproof escape plan or a way to stack the deck in his favour if it came to blows.
Maul would be extremely powerful, had his training continued, Sidious's training was so tough yet effective, it made Maul powerful at only 22 years old.
This is great!! I love your idea for part 2 Id have different face offs between the characters. Going from Anakin and obiwan fighting Maul, and then having Mace fighting Palpatine for a time. They would interchange who they were fighting. I don’t know how the face offs would go but it would be great to see
I suppose that with Maul having received teachings from Sidious all the way up to the events of order 66, he will be able to take upon any jedi maybe except for Yoda. Maybe he even got a hold of using Sith lightning, instead of just being extremely tolerant to it 🤔
I always wondered what would have been if when anikan said I’m going to turn you in, if the emperor would have called to execute order 66 and then anikan (the chosen one) would defend the Jedi at the temple, probably still fail against the clone army but then years later after restarting the Jedi order raise and army of Jedi to help the rebels against the emperor
Something bothered me, why this time palpatine finds maul? he didn't sense him in the original timeline. I believe he would've taken another apprentice after dooku's death, maybe a nightsister this time or even morher talzin herself, seems to me that he wouldn't go back and search for maul but rather explore different options
@@vikingsword3485 Talzin was stronger than Palpatine, she declined being his apprentice before. Hence he stole Maul. Palpatine kept this in mind and made sure to fight her with Dooku, Grevious and an army. She stalemated both Dooku and Sidious force lighting with her force magic.
Yaddle was a Soresu user, master of defense (as opposed to Yoda's more offensive Ataru), and Dooku a Makashi user, master lightsaber duelist. I'd say they were an ideal counter for Sidious' abilities and he wouldn't have had nearly so simple a victory.
@@apartec7792 Dooku has advanced Jedi Powers, he is able to block Force Lighting with his bare hand if you recall AOTC. He and Yoda are the only ones who we see doing this, though one has to suspect Yaddle might be able to do so too.
I don't have much for part 2, but I doubt Anakin's going to be falling to the dark side any time soon at this point. When he gets back to the temple, he finds it's under attack, and that he's been betrayed, perhaps with Maul even taunting him during their duel that he squandered his chance at greatness. Now I'm not saying Anakin wouldn't dip into darkness during all this, but he wouldn't fall, because he would see this as the ultimate betrayal by someone he trusted more than anyone, and would resist the fall out of pure rebellious stubbornness on his part, which we see is another major part of his character throughout the clone wars. Point is I don't see Anakin going to the Dark Side in this timeline.
With Tales of the Jedi being released. I am curious what Sidious' plan was since he was already working with Dooku before Maul "died" Was he planning on having 2 apprentices or was he maybe just using Dooku and planned on getting rid of him but decided to keep him since Maul was "dead"? Maybe Theory could do a video on this.
Back ups. In the dooku jedi lost novel, we see that Palpatine was keeping an eye on Rael Aveross, Dookus 1st padawan. For a few years he had his eye on him, untill he officially met Dooku. Then he starting looking at Dooku ,most likely feeling his immense power

What if Anakin, soon to be a father himself, was unable to go through with killing younglings at the temple? What if Darth Vadar was able to sense that Leia was his daughter in A New Hope? What if Padme actually loved Obi-wan and cheated on Anakin with him, and Luke & Leia were really Obi-wan's children? What if Anakin risked being expelled from the Jedi Order (or actually was expelled) and jumped off the airship after Padme in Attack of the Clones? And what if he went on to found a new Force order that didn't forego attachments?
Impossible. Revan only ever made one Holocron, and Darth Bane destroyed it after learning everything he could from it, this is in the first book of the Bane Trilogy.
Great fan fiction. For part 2 I think that Yoda and Mace Windu would fight Sidious and with this overwhelming force and the help of shatterpoint I think Mace would end up killing Sidious. On the other hand, Anakin and Obi-Wan would fight Maul and Anakin would kill Maul. This would lead to the senate going against the Jedi and the Jedi would go back to who they were a millennia ago before they were pawns of the senate. They would become what Jedi should be similar to Qui-Gon Jinn.
Maul and Sidius fighting together would be EPIC! I think they would sweep all the jedi away in a flurry of blades and force lightning. Question, with Maul learning more from Sidius, would he learn Force Lightning? He has the rage for it and his hands are intact.

Just cliff notes but I think the gist is: Maul dies during the duel against Anakin, Mace, and Kenobi Kenobi is knocked out of the temple (but survives thanks to bail who goes to investigate) Palpatine convinces Anakin to betray Mace so he can save Padme) Mace dies. But more jedi manage to escape since Anakin was busy dueling. After the battle Anakin tried to go into the master archive but cant get access right away thanks to a security hack placed by the still living Jango on Palpatines orders. Anakin is sent to Mustafar. Obiwan and a few other jedi survivors meet up with Yoda. They review the footage but thanks to the audio they hear what Palpatine said to convince Anakin. Now knowing the Motivation, Obi-Wan goes to find Anakin to turn him back to the light on the promise of looking for a way to keep Padme alive via the master archive. Yoda and a couple other Jedi survivors go to confront Sidious. Anakin talks with Obi-Wan. Hes elated to see hes alive and thus He doesnt immediately go into a rage because Padme isnt there to make him think hes being betrayed. The brotherly bond of Obi-Wan is just enough to talk Anakin down. Yodas jedi help all fall one by one to Palpatine until its just the 2 of them. Both master exhausted from the battle, Palpatine uses the clones to come in and drive Yoda away. Anakin and Kenobi go into the archives and find the sabatoged security. After getting past it with R2's help they search the records. They find force healing. Seeing this chance Anakin is relieved. There is a chance to save Padme. A wounded Yoda arrives and tells them they must leave. As the try Palpatine arrives with Jango. Its time for the final choice. A final duel begins. But who wins? Who dies?
Great fanfic, something I realized while watching was that since Maul is Sidious's apprentice, there is probably no Siege of Mandalore in this timeline. This means Ahsoka might've gone with Anakin and Obi-Wan to rescue Palpatine, and possibly became a Jedi again after that, meaning she would be present during order 66.
Or if Yaddle stayed hidden until they left and then dropped the others in it. However, these beautiful films have really shown the tragedy of Dooku's fall.
To be truely honest Dooku and Yadle would have a really big chance of winning. Yadle was pretty good duelist with her speed and acrobatic movements (not as good one as Dooku and Sidious but she wasn’t that bad) and Dooku was the best duelist in the galaxy by that time (even better than Sidious like you have said), plus with all respect that burning shenaningans someone with lightnings is pretty “stupid” (yeah maybe he did it in some comic or book but he never used it in movies or TV shows so I just don’t see this as canon) plus if Mace Windu and even Rey could defeat Sidious (not just in duel but also in the Sith lightnings scenerio) I dont see a reason to Why wouldn’t Dooku be able to (he was defenetly at least as powerful and gifted in the force abilities as Windu so…). I get it you wanted to have Maul again in the picture (for some reason) but Dooku would defenetly be able to defeat him in that moment, I can see a possibility of Sidious escaping after his defeat.
How about - What If, instead of collapsing forward and into The Works, Yaddle collapsed backward and fell out of the building with the big, heavy door keeping Dooku and Palpatine from getting to her for at least a little bit of time?
You got it wrong. Dooku does know how to use force lightning at that point. Right before I stopped reading (well, listening to) Disney Star Wars novels, I remember in one of them Dooku as a teenager used force lightning and this Jedi who had been a mentor to him and Sifo Dias didn't rat him out. Dooku had literally been using force lightning since he was a kid. He was a natural at it.

Light side ending seems logical because Anakin is still a jedi. And maul has a big mouth he would not let palpatine have all that power to himself, as we saw in season 7 of the clone wars. I'm not very good at fan fics but I think we have a prime anakin who would feel betrayal and anger against Palpatine. Making anakin do what he would have done against Dooku. It's tough though because I could also see how he turns anakin still because as you said the force visions are still there. I'm stoked to see how this plays out however you go it always works out awesomely!
When Maul and and Sidious go to fight Yoda Mace, and Anakin. Anakin potentially persuaded by Sidious join him and Maul offering the power to save the one love. Anakin will actually stay will the Jedi this time creating a 3vs2 situation. The battle between some of the most powerful force users ever know to man begins. Anakin, Yoda, and Mace confident in their abilities press forward the attack on Maul and Sidious. Eventually both Anakin and Yoda were force pushed away creating a 2v1 Maul and Sidious Mace. Sidious and Maul having too much force power make quick work of Mace disarming him and electrocuting Mace. Anakin and Yoda join back in on the trying to protect Mace from force lighting. But was too late Maul struck down Mace while the belting electricity rains down on Mace killing him. With Mace dead, Anakin and Yoda continue to fight Maul and Sidious. Yoda against Sidious and Anakin against Maul Anakin presses forward the attack on Maul. Quite evenly matched are Maul and Anakin along with Yoda and Sidious equal in power as well. Sidious moving like a blur presses the forward on grand master Yoda. With Anakin noticing that Yoda was struggling came over to help Y ida to defeat Sidious. Yoda and Ankin decide to switch opponents. Yoda disarms Maul and strikes him down. Yoda and Anakin now fighting Sidious 2vs 1gain the advantage over Sidious. Anakin got separated from Yoda and Sidious. Yoda left an opening and Sidious took advantage and stroke him down killing Yoda. Anakin now rage induced fighting against the guy who plotted to kill his wife. But hope remains for his cause as his master Obiwan arrives from defeating Grievous on Utapia. Obiwan the master of Soresu along with his padawan’s forceful attacks disarm Sidious bringing him to justice. Obi Wan and Anakin some the only Jedi left after the attacks of order 66 rebuild the Jedi order. Palme gives birth to twins Luke and Leia. Luke and Leia get powerful quickly by the age of 20 rival the of their Uncle Obiwan. The galaxy continues on with peace until one day when Kyle Ren rises to power.
Good fan fiction. Part two i would like to see most of the jedi dying but obi wan, mace windu, yoda, and Anikan being the only surviving jedi at the temple either escaping together or something. Also obi wan and maul both injured from dueling each other anikan force pushing maul away to basically save obi wan and escaping by yoda and mace collapsing the roof or a bridge in the temple and the clones and sidious and maul couldn't follow. Sidious being enraged but silent and maul pounding his fists on the rubble yelling kenobi. And the sidious tells commander fox to find them and he says yes my lord and a bunch of clones follow him. Yoda, mace, obi wan and Anikan find a safe place on coruscant to hide for the time to plan their next moves. Anikan against their wishes leaves to find Ahsoka and brings her back and they escape coruscant together with bail organa and bail brought padme along as well assuring Anikan through the hologram at a meeting they all had just before he left to find Ahsoka saying what about padme and Ahsoka at this meeting. Bail says I will find and bring padme and then mace says we need not worry about Ahsoka she is a citizen no longer a jedi. Anikan looks at him mad and says some kind of remark as he turns his back to go find her. After escaping they go to that moon they did at the end of revenge of the sith and while there padme gives birth with Ahsoka, Anikan, and obi wan at her side. and both Anikan and Padme confess their marriage and their that the babies are both theirs and naming them luke and Leia. Yoda says we must protect these children at all costs and Mace says this is an outrage Anikan can no longer be a jedi and yoda says perhaps not or perhaps he is the chosen one and will still bring balance to the force and Obi wan says he hasn't failed me yet. Anikan also budging in at some point saying he doesn't mind leaving because now padme and his children are all that matters. So then they plan their next moves anikan and padme and obi wan take luke and Leia to a safe planet and make up new names for themselves. Yoda, Mace and Ahsoka find any serving jedi and bring them to a safe planet with ancient and secret jedi temple that only yoda knew about. They hide for years eventually luke and Leia being trained by Anikan and obi wan. And they plan an attack to kill emperor palpatine and all the surving jedi on the planet yoda is on have rebels that have been brought there by bail organa and they eventually attack palpatine when he goes to his palace on naboo. The rebels take out the guards at the gate and Yoda, Mace, Anikam, Obi wan, Ahsoka, Leia, and Luke confront palpatine he laughs and says yes good I have foreseen this day. He tells anikan you should have joined me you would have become more powerful than anyone in this room. This enraged Anikan he initiates the first blow palpatine blocking perfectly and the rest join and surround him, palpatine force lightnings all of them and jumps into the 2nd level and tries to tempt luke into joining him he says I will never join you I am like my father a jedi. Palpatine laughs and says then you shall die with the rest of them as he lunges at luke. Luke scared freezes and Mace windu blocks palpatine from killing him and starts to duel him away Leia gets up and runs to luke saying are you okay while the rest lay unconscious. Windu gets palpatine back to the glass wall and used his ability to see palpatines weaknesses but can't find any and Anikan and the rest get up and luke says they went this way come on they all get to the room palpatine and windu are fighting in windu looks at them and nods his head and he sees palpatine weakness which is his confidence so he turns off his blade and kicks palpatines lightaber out of his hand but palpatine force lightnings him and throws him out the window while Anikan sneaks up and stabs him in the back just before palpatine throws windu out the window.
There's no way Palpatine could remain a senator even if he fought with his cloak on to hide his identity. You'd have to change the story a bit. Because at this point in your fan fiction Anakin knows, and you elude to Palpatine and Maul storming the Jedi temple. I don't think it's likely he'd storm the temple to fight all of the Jedi and Anakin doesn't say anything at all to Mace Windu, Obi Wan, Ashoka, or Yoda leading up to the fight. Someone would know before the fight
Dooku and Yadel could have escaped instead. As for part 2, here are some ideas: Obi-Wan kills Maul the same way he does in Rebels. Sideious kills Windu. Then he tries to tempt Anakin. But Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, the credit mostly goes to Ahsoka, manage to keep him in the Light. Together, the 3 of them duel the Sith Lord. He knocks Kenobi out of the fight. He holds firm against Anakin’s push with his lightsaber. Ahsoka run at him from behind. Palpatine stops her with Force Lightning. She fails to block it, but walks on through the lightning. Much to Palpatine’s surprise and fear. She lands a strike, distracting him with pain. Anakin uses this opportunity to deal the killing blow. The Sith are defeated. The War ends. Anakin is made a Master on the Council. The Code is changed. Anakin can freely be with Padme, and Obi-Wan can be with Satine. Luke and Leia are born. Ahsoka is made the god mother. Obi-Wan and Bail Organa are made the god fathers.
Pt. 2, The 501st were a special force in the eyes of the emperor as you talked about in your how did the clones know that Anakin wasn't a jedi in order 66 vid. Lord Vader would no longer be the commander as it states in the old BF2 during knightfall. Maul would lead the clones into the temple with Sidious entering from his shuttle following the initial surprise, Maul, Anakin, and obi wan already engaged in battle as Sidious approaches. Maul backflips as they all stop. Palpatine says, "Anakin stop, witness the power you will have to protect your wife" Palpatine raises all of the Jedi in the area aside from obi wan because hes too powerful as the clones gun down the surrounding jedi palpatine had forced choked in the air. Enter Mace windu "you're going to pay for that sith lord" Palp, "Now, Master jedi, you will experience the full power of the dark side" Anakin in shock freezes as Palpatine launches at Windu while maul and obiwan re engage in battle. Palpatine tried to turn anakin over, but this time obi wan was there and Anakin was not turned, igniting his lightsaber. Palpatine says, "Stop" opens a hologram of a pregnant padme surrounded by the 501st as it was there mission to capture padme. This fueled anakins rage as he leaves the jedi temple to go save padme even against the advice of Windu and obiwan to let her go. Eventually, palpatine and maul kill obiwan and windu in a hard fought duel. As order 66 eliminates many jedi, its anakin, yoda, and padme who have to go into hiding from the emperor. Yoda is displeased, but accepts Anakins marriage due to the need. They form a much stronger rebellion and real threat to the empire with Anakin as Luke and Leia are raised. When the children grow older, the skywalker family with yodas help eventually beat the emperor, maul, and the inquisitors restoring peace to the galaxy with both yoda and anakin sacrificing themselves in battle for the victory.
Part 2: Yoda and numerous other Jedi are absent from the Jedi Council due to their involvement in the clone wars, which sidious and maul will take advantage of when raiding the temple. Maul will arrive first similar to Anakins arrival in revenge of the sith. He will start right away killing the jedi. Windu, Anakin, obiwan, and the other Jedi who confronted sidious in revenge of the sith will take on maul, while the rest of the Jedi fight the clones. Once maul is preoccupied fighting those masters the clones would have a significantly harder time fighting off the numerous Jedi in the temple and many would survive, however, Jedi throught the galaxy would still die to the clones Maul would put up an insane fight against mace, anakin, obiwan, fisto, saesee tiin, and agen kolar. But they are hardly a match for mauls since he has been able to spend another ten plus years training under the most powerful being in the galaxy. Maul had learned force lighting and used it in his fight against the Jedi- he would kill saesee tiin- yet windu’s vaapad was gaining the upper hand and maul would not last much longer. Luckily for maul, sidious arrives to help him finish the job. Yoda who had also survived order 66 would start his journey back to the Jedi temple. Sensing the conflict in the temple. The Jedi masters are no match for the two sith! Maul being the killing machine he is takes the life of agen kolar AND sidious takes the life of obi wan considering it was his entire goal through revenge of the sith to kill kenobi. Anakin and kit fisto fight maul while mace fights sidious. Maul slices fisto from head to toe and then with a mixture of force lighting and force push he sends anakin crashing through a window to the outside, nearly killing him. Mace and sidious work their way to the top of the temple where the high council meet. Their duel is similar to the one in palps office. Yoda and maul both arrive at the top of the tower to join their respective sides. Sidious uses his purple sith lightning to overcome maces lightsaber and disintegrate him. Yoda is outmatched by the two sith. Yet no longer are maul and sidious on the best terms with each other, while they both want yoda dead, sidious is mad at maul because he thinks maul killed anakin, his prized pupil. Maul is angry with sidious because he believes sidious would have replaced him with anakin, maul thinks it is time he overthrows his master and becomes the master himself. Maul and sidious now want each other dead. Sidious knows he is no match for both yoda and maul, but luckily for him, when maul offers for yoda to join him yoda plays an Ashoka and refuses saying, “only for you to take his place”. Yoda slides under maul and cuts off his leg, palpatine takes the opportunity to slice maul at his neck, instead of his waist like obiwan did. Now sidious and yoda stare at each other with lightsabers ignited (remember yoda does not yet know sidious is the senate). Their battle would continue similar to their one in the senate building, with sidious throwing the yodas own chair at him. They would also fight on top of the spike, where yoda would struggle to absorb sidious purple lightning and be pushed off the spire. Yoda would flee, to go help surviving Jedi in the temple leave to head off world. Anakin would recover and join them. Palps would convince the senate to reorganize into an empire to protect themselves now that the Jedi have evacuated. Secretly Palps would start looking for a new apprentice to help him continue to hunt down many remaining Jedi. (I think palps still believes anakin is dead) (and I think most Jedi who were in the temple at the time would have survived since the clones had neither maul nor anakin leading them for a good portion of the raid.) Padme would probably die because of sorrow during childbirth after hearing the love of her life had died to maul. I’m going to stop here for now because this is very long but a civil war would break out: Jedi v.s. imperial senate/leftovers of the grand army of the republic. The Jedi still do not know that sidious is the head of the empire but they Should quickly connect the dots
I think if Anakin, Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, etc. would all have been alive and at the Temple when order 66 was executet, even with Maul there, they would have won for sure
Dooku turning to the dark side is such a tragedy. Imagine if Qui-Gon had lived, and Qui-Gon, Dooku, and Yaddle had enough of the Jedi Council's incompetence and so took Anakin, left the order, and went out into shadows of the galaxy to form a new Jedi Order, one that held to the true ways of the Jedi. When Palpatine takes over, they would appear again one day, with new true Jedi, and retake the Galaxy from Sidious, and guide the galaxy under the true will of the Force.

The prequel era Jedi Order alienated many great characters. Sifo Dyas, Qui-Gon, Ventress, Dooku, Barriss Offee, Ahsoka, Anakin. The bigger tragedy is the Council not seeing this.

Tales of the Jedi truly felt like original Star Wars. Last time we got content similar to this was Revenge of the Sith. Just subtle things like the scoring, framing, lighting, it all really felt like George’s operatic style. Really hoping Disney is smart and gives Dave another season. Would love to see other Tales some day!

If Dooku joined Yaddle and killed Sidious, Darth Jar-Jar would take Sidious’ place and convert Mace Windu to the dark side. Then you have all the same events as Episodes 1-3, except with Windu and JarJar taking the place of Dooku and Sidious. Support for this theory is the Windu-JarJar arc when they take down an entire, interplanetary magic cult.

Here’s a ‘what if’ I thought of after watching Tales. What if Dooku and Qui Gon started a new order together? Rather than Dooku bringing Qui Gon to the dark side, Dooku denounces the Sith and the Jedi order. In this scenario, Qui Gon is ALMOST killed by Maul. This is what causes Dooku to go directly to his old apprentice. Mace Windu spearheads a campaign against Dooku for the crimes he’d already committed up to that point. Sidious sees Dooku as a loose end in his plot to defeat the Jedi. Dooku, Qui Gon, and their new order based on truth must fight against both the Jedi and the Sith.

Where does that leave Obi-Wan and Anakin? Would they have joined this order? Anakin would probably go with Qui Gon, but would Anakin? They didn't always agree. Ahsoka would've not become Anakin's apprentice either. Would Plo-Koon have been her master?

The only reason he was trained in the first place is that Obi-Wan refused to break his promise to fulfill Qui Gon's dying wish, despite the council's objections. I'm wondering more if Obi-Wan would've left the order if his master left and asked him to join him.
I think that more likely scenario would be that Yaddle would die (as you said, she lost even against Dooku) and that Dooku wouldn't manage to kill Sidious, nor win against him, however I do think that he'd be able to recognize when he's outmatched and would escape the situation, just like he did when he was outmatched by Yoda. He'd topple part of the building on top of Palpatine, and while Palpatine would try to save himself, Dooku would jump to the platform with Yaddle's ship (his own ship is to close to Palpatine, Palpatine might manage to cut its' engines with lightsaber) and escape. What he would do after that I'm not sure of. Yaddle as well as Qui-Gon are dead so he has noone that he could trust, and probably very few who would tolerate his crimes at that point. So it's pretty safe to say that he wouldn't go to the council right away. I think he'd try to get few Jedi whom he felt he could trust (I can think of only Kenobi) and talk to them about this first, and Palpatine would try to get rid of Dooku in some other way. He'd probably work out accusation against Dooku that he is the sith lord and that he's responsible for Yaddle's death.

But Dooku already displayed enough wisdom to run from a fight that he realized he couldn't win. And considering that he ran from Yoda when he was more skilled in the dark side, then he'd definitelly try to run from Palpatine at this point.
@@fanta4897 no becauee in the new canon Dooku specifically mentions that he learned about strategic retreats from his master, Sidious. "Stories of the light and dark" canon book has Dooku covering the Dooku captures episodes. He talks about Anakins anger, and how that he could play a role in their plans. And yes again he mentions retreating, as something Palpatine taught him.

The fact that there’s only a handful of Sith saber victories made this even better. The way they took prequel characters and evolved them was so amazing
Part 2 idea:
Maul and Sidious storm the temple, but Anakin, Obi-Wan and Mace are all still there of course, likely at the forefront of the battle first but then retreating to protect the younglings when they realised they could defeat the sith then and there. I think, come the time that Maul and Sidious reach the council room, Sidious would be able to distract Anakin with promises to save Padmé. While Skywalker is occupied, Maul would launch an attack from the side, bowing in the masters, younglings, adn jedi knight. It would be very close, but Maul and Sidious would take down Mace without significant injury, and then round on Kenobi. As skillful as Obi-Wan was with soresu, even his defense eventually fell to Sidious' attacks (at this point Anakin was busy defending a small group of remaining younglings from Maul). Anakin would see Sidious preparing to strike the final blow and force push maul against the far wall, similarly to how Sidious did in the main timeline. Anakin would use force speed to rush across to Kenobi and block Sheev's blow - inches from Obi-Wan's face. Sidious would back away, having seen Anakin's treatment of Maul, and try and use mindgames, threatening to end the younglings if Anakin didn't strike down his master and join Sidious. Right before Anakin had a chance to decide, Yoda appeared, green saber humming softly.
Palpatine turned to face his rival, and engaged his own saber, only now drawing his second blade, not having needed it previously. With a flick of his wrist, he disarmed the distracted Kenobi (in both senses). Maul rushed at Anakin, Yoda rushed at Palpatine, and the room flashed with the power of their collision. Kenobi would grab the younglings and run, escaping via an unsupervised Y-wing.
After a prolonged battle, Anakin would defeat Maul, in much the same way Kenobi had, over a decade prior. Grabbing Maul's fallen saber, Anakin went to the Grand Master's aid.
All the time that their proteges had been battling, Sidious and Yoda had been evenly matched - perhaps with Sheev taking superiority by a whisker -, but now with Anakin's help, perhaps Yoda might win?...

Although, I had a different scenario in mind for "Dooku joins Yaddle." Rather than the two of them simply taking Sidious head-on and getting utterly annihilated, maybe they retreat after realizing how outmatched they are so they can warn the Jedi council with holographic evidence of Sidious fighting them, or maybe the fight causes so much noise and commotion that the Jedi take notice and send in a platoon to investigate, forcing Sidious to flee.

I'd absolutely love to see more explored with Jango surviving! Maybe he ends up being arrested shortly after, so Palpatine organises The Bounty Hunter's Guild including Cad Bane, Aura Sing, Bossk and even Boba Fett to break him out
Maybe he even sees Jango as a liability, so orders the three bounty hunters to use Boba to get to him, before attempting to kill them both
So many opportunities could open up even without Jango being arrested!

Would love to see a version where Dooku or Yaddle order the other to go warn the council while they hold off Sidious, and see where that goes. The one to stay would definitely die, but Sidious would be forced to flee and completely change his plans

So here’s my take on the fanfic so far:
There is a slim chance that Yaddle and Dooku could have survived this duel with Sidious because while I do agree they could not defeat him, Yaddle was on the Jedi High Council and those on the Council aren’t on there just because they were recommended by outside influences (looking at you Anakin).
Also, Dooku is not only one of the best swordsmen in the Order, he’s also a powerful force user. While he might not be on the same level as Anakin, Sidious or Yoda, he could have done something.

Personally, I think that Dooku is calculating enough to realize he was in trouble as soon as Yaddle went down, and rather than attack Sidious in rage, Dooku would have tried to escape (and might have managed it). The question is where would he go from there? Obi-Wan would listen to him, but is too inexperienced and doesn't have enough cred with the council yet. Would he go to his other former student, and either present to the council together or form a third, rogue element? Or would this have shaken him enough that he would go to his own former master and confess his crimes to Yoda (personally and privately) in the hopes of rallying the kind of force that could take Sidious on?

I think Palpatine was either very careless by meeting Dooku in person while leaving the door to the hangar open for anyone to spy on them or jump them, or he was fully prepared for such an outcome with either a foolproof escape plan or a way to stack the deck in his favour if it came to blows.
Maul would be extremely powerful, had his training continued, Sidious's training was so tough yet effective, it made Maul powerful at only 22 years old.

Id have different face offs between the characters. Going from Anakin and obiwan fighting Maul, and then having Mace fighting Palpatine for a time.
They would interchange who they were fighting. I don’t know how the face offs would go but it would be great to see
I suppose that with Maul having received teachings from Sidious all the way up to the events of order 66, he will be able to take upon any jedi maybe except for Yoda. Maybe he even got a hold of using Sith lightning, instead of just being extremely tolerant to it 🤔
I always wondered what would have been if when anikan said I’m going to turn you in, if the emperor would have called to execute order 66 and then anikan (the chosen one) would defend the Jedi at the temple, probably still fail against the clone army but then years later after restarting the Jedi order raise and army of Jedi to help the rebels against the emperor

Something bothered me, why this time palpatine finds maul? he didn't sense him in the original timeline. I believe he would've taken another apprentice after dooku's death, maybe a nightsister this time or even morher talzin herself, seems to me that he wouldn't go back and search for maul but rather explore different options
I think he would have used another Jedi to turn the public against them. Maybe Rush Vader by arranging the deaths of a few loved ones
@@vikingsword3485 Talzin was stronger than Palpatine, she declined being his apprentice before. Hence he stole Maul. Palpatine kept this in mind and made sure to fight her with Dooku, Grevious and an army.
She stalemated both Dooku and Sidious force lighting with her force magic.
Yaddle was a Soresu user, master of defense (as opposed to Yoda's more offensive Ataru), and Dooku a Makashi user, master lightsaber duelist. I'd say they were an ideal counter for Sidious' abilities and he wouldn't have had nearly so simple a victory.

I love when maul reaches his potential
I don't have much for part 2, but I doubt Anakin's going to be falling to the dark side any time soon at this point. When he gets back to the temple, he finds it's under attack, and that he's been betrayed, perhaps with Maul even taunting him during their duel that he squandered his chance at greatness. Now I'm not saying Anakin wouldn't dip into darkness during all this, but he wouldn't fall, because he would see this as the ultimate betrayal by someone he trusted more than anyone, and would resist the fall out of pure rebellious stubbornness on his part, which we see is another major part of his character throughout the clone wars. Point is I don't see Anakin going to the Dark Side in this timeline.
I love your fan fictions. I actually prefer Yaddle’s death in Legends because of the tremendous impact it had on Anakin.
With Tales of the Jedi being released. I am curious what Sidious' plan was since he was already working with Dooku before Maul "died" Was he planning on having 2 apprentices or was he maybe just using Dooku and planned on getting rid of him but decided to keep him since Maul was "dead"? Maybe Theory could do a video on this.
Back ups. In the dooku jedi lost novel, we see that Palpatine was keeping an eye on Rael Aveross, Dookus 1st padawan. For a few years he had his eye on him, untill he officially met Dooku. Then he starting looking at Dooku ,most likely feeling his immense power

Great fan fiction. For part 2 I think that Yoda and Mace Windu would fight Sidious and with this overwhelming force and the help of shatterpoint I think Mace would end up killing Sidious. On the other hand, Anakin and Obi-Wan would fight Maul and Anakin would kill Maul. This would lead to the senate going against the Jedi and the Jedi would go back to who they were a millennia ago before they were pawns of the senate. They would become what Jedi should be similar to Qui-Gon Jinn.

It's not clear in canon if it's teachable, or in your DNA. So far it seems to be related to bloodlines. Palpatine dynasty (palpatine, rey) and serreno (dooku)

Just cliff notes but I think the gist is:
Maul dies during the duel against Anakin, Mace, and Kenobi
Kenobi is knocked out of the temple (but survives thanks to bail who goes to investigate)
Palpatine convinces Anakin to betray Mace so he can save Padme)
Mace dies.
But more jedi manage to escape since Anakin was busy dueling.
After the battle Anakin tried to go into the master archive but cant get access right away thanks to a security hack placed by the still living Jango on Palpatines orders.
Anakin is sent to Mustafar.
Obiwan and a few other jedi survivors meet up with Yoda. They review the footage but thanks to the audio they hear what Palpatine said to convince Anakin.
Now knowing the Motivation, Obi-Wan goes to find Anakin to turn him back to the light on the promise of looking for a way to keep Padme alive via the master archive.
Yoda and a couple other Jedi survivors go to confront Sidious.
Anakin talks with Obi-Wan. Hes elated to see hes alive and thus He doesnt immediately go into a rage because Padme isnt there to make him think hes being betrayed. The brotherly bond of Obi-Wan is just enough to talk Anakin down.
Yodas jedi help all fall one by one to Palpatine until its just the 2 of them.
Both master exhausted from the battle, Palpatine uses the clones to come in and drive Yoda away.
Anakin and Kenobi go into the archives and find the sabatoged security. After getting past it with R2's help they search the records. They find force healing.
Seeing this chance Anakin is relieved. There is a chance to save Padme.
A wounded Yoda arrives and tells them they must leave.
As the try Palpatine arrives with Jango. Its time for the final choice.
A final duel begins. But who wins? Who dies?
Great fanfic, something I realized while watching was that since Maul is Sidious's apprentice, there is probably no Siege of Mandalore in this timeline. This means Ahsoka might've gone with Anakin and Obi-Wan to rescue Palpatine, and possibly became a Jedi again after that, meaning she would be present during order 66.
I feel like Dooku has a good chance of getting the upper hand or escaping at least. Idk he seems underestimated considering how strong he really was

To be truely honest Dooku and Yadle would have a really big chance of winning. Yadle was pretty good duelist with her speed and acrobatic movements (not as good one as Dooku and Sidious but she wasn’t that bad) and Dooku was the best duelist in the galaxy by that time (even better than Sidious like you have said), plus with all respect that burning shenaningans someone with lightnings is pretty “stupid” (yeah maybe he did it in some comic or book but he never used it in movies or TV shows so I just don’t see this as canon) plus if Mace Windu and even Rey could defeat Sidious (not just in duel but also in the Sith lightnings scenerio) I dont see a reason to Why wouldn’t Dooku be able to (he was defenetly at least as powerful and gifted in the force abilities as Windu so…). I get it you wanted to have Maul again in the picture (for some reason) but Dooku would defenetly be able to defeat him in that moment, I can see a possibility of Sidious escaping after his defeat.

You got it wrong. Dooku does know how to use force lightning at that point. Right before I stopped reading (well, listening to) Disney Star Wars novels, I remember in one of them Dooku as a teenager used force lightning and this Jedi who had been a mentor to him and Sifo Dias didn't rat him out. Dooku had literally been using force lightning since he was a kid. He was a natural at it.

Light side ending seems logical because Anakin is still a jedi. And maul has a big mouth he would not let palpatine have all that power to himself, as we saw in season 7 of the clone wars. I'm not very good at fan fics but I think we have a prime anakin who would feel betrayal and anger against Palpatine. Making anakin do what he would have done against Dooku. It's tough though because I could also see how he turns anakin still because as you said the force visions are still there. I'm stoked to see how this plays out however you go it always works out awesomely!

When Maul and and Sidious go to fight Yoda Mace, and Anakin. Anakin potentially persuaded by Sidious join him and Maul offering the power to save the one love. Anakin will actually stay will the Jedi this time creating a 3vs2 situation. The battle between some of the most powerful force users ever know to man begins. Anakin, Yoda, and Mace confident in their abilities press forward the attack on Maul and Sidious. Eventually both Anakin and Yoda were force pushed away creating a 2v1 Maul and Sidious Mace. Sidious and Maul having too much force power make quick work of Mace disarming him and electrocuting Mace. Anakin and Yoda join back in on the trying to protect Mace from force lighting. But was too late Maul struck down Mace while the belting electricity rains down on Mace killing him. With Mace dead, Anakin and Yoda continue to fight Maul and Sidious. Yoda against Sidious and Anakin against Maul Anakin presses forward the attack on Maul. Quite evenly matched are Maul and Anakin along with Yoda and Sidious equal in power as well. Sidious moving like a blur presses the forward on grand master Yoda. With Anakin noticing that Yoda was struggling came over to help Y ida to defeat Sidious. Yoda and Ankin decide to switch opponents. Yoda disarms Maul and strikes him down. Yoda and Anakin now fighting Sidious 2vs 1gain the advantage over Sidious. Anakin got separated from Yoda and Sidious. Yoda left an opening and Sidious took advantage and stroke him down killing Yoda. Anakin now rage induced fighting against the guy who plotted to kill his wife. But hope remains for his cause as his master Obiwan arrives from defeating Grievous on Utapia. Obiwan the master of Soresu along with his padawan’s forceful attacks disarm Sidious bringing him to justice. Obi Wan and Anakin some the only Jedi left after the attacks of order 66 rebuild the Jedi order. Palme gives birth to twins Luke and Leia. Luke and Leia get powerful quickly by the age of 20 rival the of their Uncle Obiwan. The galaxy continues on with peace until one day when Kyle Ren rises to power.

Good fan fiction. Part two i would like to see most of the jedi dying but obi wan, mace windu, yoda, and Anikan being the only surviving jedi at the temple either escaping together or something. Also obi wan and maul both injured from dueling each other anikan force pushing maul away to basically save obi wan and escaping by yoda and mace collapsing the roof or a bridge in the temple and the clones and sidious and maul couldn't follow. Sidious being enraged but silent and maul pounding his fists on the rubble yelling kenobi. And the sidious tells commander fox to find them and he says yes my lord and a bunch of clones follow him. Yoda, mace, obi wan and Anikan find a safe place on coruscant to hide for the time to plan their next moves. Anikan against their wishes leaves to find Ahsoka and brings her back and they escape coruscant together with bail organa and bail brought padme along as well assuring Anikan through the hologram at a meeting they all had just before he left to find Ahsoka saying what about padme and Ahsoka at this meeting. Bail says I will find and bring padme and then mace says we need not worry about Ahsoka she is a citizen no longer a jedi. Anikan looks at him mad and says some kind of remark as he turns his back to go find her. After escaping they go to that moon they did at the end of revenge of the sith and while there padme gives birth with Ahsoka, Anikan, and obi wan at her side. and both Anikan and Padme confess their marriage and their that the babies are both theirs and naming them luke and Leia. Yoda says we must protect these children at all costs and Mace says this is an outrage Anikan can no longer be a jedi and yoda says perhaps not or perhaps he is the chosen one and will still bring balance to the force and Obi wan says he hasn't failed me yet. Anikan also budging in at some point saying he doesn't mind leaving because now padme and his children are all that matters. So then they plan their next moves anikan and padme and obi wan take luke and Leia to a safe planet and make up new names for themselves. Yoda, Mace and Ahsoka find any serving jedi and bring them to a safe planet with ancient and secret jedi temple that only yoda knew about. They hide for years eventually luke and Leia being trained by Anikan and obi wan. And they plan an attack to kill emperor palpatine and all the surving jedi on the planet yoda is on have rebels that have been brought there by bail organa and they eventually attack palpatine when he goes to his palace on naboo. The rebels take out the guards at the gate and Yoda, Mace, Anikam, Obi wan, Ahsoka, Leia, and Luke confront palpatine he laughs and says yes good I have foreseen this day. He tells anikan you should have joined me you would have become more powerful than anyone in this room. This enraged Anikan he initiates the first blow palpatine blocking perfectly and the rest join and surround him, palpatine force lightnings all of them and jumps into the 2nd level and tries to tempt luke into joining him he says I will never join you I am like my father a jedi. Palpatine laughs and says then you shall die with the rest of them as he lunges at luke. Luke scared freezes and Mace windu blocks palpatine from killing him and starts to duel him away Leia gets up and runs to luke saying are you okay while the rest lay unconscious. Windu gets palpatine back to the glass wall and used his ability to see palpatines weaknesses but can't find any and Anikan and the rest get up and luke says they went this way come on they all get to the room palpatine and windu are fighting in windu looks at them and nods his head and he sees palpatine weakness which is his confidence so he turns off his blade and kicks palpatines lightaber out of his hand but palpatine force lightnings him and throws him out the window while Anikan sneaks up and stabs him in the back just before palpatine throws windu out the window.
There's no way Palpatine could remain a senator even if he fought with his cloak on to hide his identity. You'd have to change the story a bit. Because at this point in your fan fiction Anakin knows, and you elude to Palpatine and Maul storming the Jedi temple. I don't think it's likely he'd storm the temple to fight all of the Jedi and Anakin doesn't say anything at all to Mace Windu, Obi Wan, Ashoka, or Yoda leading up to the fight. Someone would know before the fight

As for part 2, here are some ideas:
Obi-Wan kills Maul the same way he does in Rebels. Sideious kills Windu. Then he tries to tempt Anakin. But Ahsoka and Obi-Wan, the credit mostly goes to Ahsoka, manage to keep him in the Light. Together, the 3 of them duel the Sith Lord. He knocks Kenobi out of the fight. He holds firm against Anakin’s push with his lightsaber. Ahsoka run at him from behind. Palpatine stops her with Force Lightning. She fails to block it, but walks on through the lightning. Much to Palpatine’s surprise and fear. She lands a strike, distracting him with pain. Anakin uses this opportunity to deal the killing blow. The Sith are defeated. The War ends. Anakin is made a Master on the Council. The Code is changed. Anakin can freely be with Padme, and Obi-Wan can be with Satine. Luke and Leia are born. Ahsoka is made the god mother. Obi-Wan and Bail Organa are made the god fathers.
I have to say, you’re stunningly good at impressions. Above all else, your Anakin impression is fantastic :)
It really bugs me how Yaddle was so stupid and could have just ran away to tell the Council. The arrogance of the Jedi is insane.
Pt. 2, The 501st were a special force in the eyes of the emperor as you talked about in your how did the clones know that Anakin wasn't a jedi in order 66 vid. Lord Vader would no longer be the commander as it states in the old BF2 during knightfall. Maul would lead the clones into the temple with Sidious entering from his shuttle following the initial surprise, Maul, Anakin, and obi wan already engaged in battle as Sidious approaches. Maul backflips as they all stop. Palpatine says, "Anakin stop, witness the power you will have to protect your wife" Palpatine raises all of the Jedi in the area aside from obi wan because hes too powerful as the clones gun down the surrounding jedi palpatine had forced choked in the air. Enter Mace windu "you're going to pay for that sith lord" Palp, "Now, Master jedi, you will experience the full power of the dark side" Anakin in shock freezes as Palpatine launches at Windu while maul and obiwan re engage in battle. Palpatine tried to turn anakin over, but this time obi wan was there and Anakin was not turned, igniting his lightsaber. Palpatine says, "Stop" opens a hologram of a pregnant padme surrounded by the 501st as it was there mission to capture padme. This fueled anakins rage as he leaves the jedi temple to go save padme even against the advice of Windu and obiwan to let her go. Eventually, palpatine and maul kill obiwan and windu in a hard fought duel. As order 66 eliminates many jedi, its anakin, yoda, and padme who have to go into hiding from the emperor. Yoda is displeased, but accepts Anakins marriage due to the need. They form a much stronger rebellion and real threat to the empire with Anakin as Luke and Leia are raised. When the children grow older, the skywalker family with yodas help eventually beat the emperor, maul, and the inquisitors restoring peace to the galaxy with both yoda and anakin sacrificing themselves in battle for the victory.
Maul wouldn't stand a chance against Anakin or Obi Wan. He didn't learn anything from there first battle, That's why Old Ben Wiped the floor with him.

Dooku would have been smart enough to keep some dueling tricks up his sleeve. Moves he never showed Palpatine (or anyone else for that matter).
Sideous is probably one relatively few Force Users still exceptionally dangerous when actually fighting him EVEN when totally "disarmed".
Part 2:
Yoda and numerous other Jedi are absent from the Jedi Council due to their involvement in the clone wars, which sidious and maul will take advantage of when raiding the temple.
Maul will arrive first similar to Anakins arrival in revenge of the sith. He will start right away killing the jedi.
Windu, Anakin, obiwan, and the other Jedi who confronted sidious in revenge of the sith will take on maul, while the rest of the Jedi fight the clones.
Once maul is preoccupied fighting those masters the clones would have a significantly harder time fighting off the numerous Jedi in the temple and many would survive, however, Jedi throught the galaxy would still die to the clones
Maul would put up an insane fight against mace, anakin, obiwan, fisto, saesee tiin, and agen kolar. But they are hardly a match for mauls since he has been able to spend another ten plus years training under the most powerful being in the galaxy.
Maul had learned force lighting and used it in his fight against the Jedi- he would kill saesee tiin- yet windu’s vaapad was gaining the upper hand and maul would not last much longer.
Luckily for maul, sidious arrives to help him finish the job. Yoda who had also survived order 66 would start his journey back to the Jedi temple. Sensing the conflict in the temple.
The Jedi masters are no match for the two sith! Maul being the killing machine he is takes the life of agen kolar AND sidious takes the life of obi wan considering it was his entire goal through revenge of the sith to kill kenobi.
Anakin and kit fisto fight maul while mace fights sidious. Maul slices fisto from head to toe and then with a mixture of force lighting and force push he sends anakin crashing through a window to the outside, nearly killing him.
Mace and sidious work their way to the top of the temple where the high council meet. Their duel is similar to the one in palps office.
Yoda and maul both arrive at the top of the tower to join their respective sides. Sidious uses his purple sith lightning to overcome maces lightsaber and disintegrate him.
Yoda is outmatched by the two sith. Yet no longer are maul and sidious on the best terms with each other, while they both want yoda dead, sidious is mad at maul because he thinks maul killed anakin, his prized pupil. Maul is angry with sidious because he believes sidious would have replaced him with anakin, maul thinks it is time he overthrows his master and becomes the master himself. Maul and sidious now want each other dead.
Sidious knows he is no match for both yoda and maul, but luckily for him, when maul offers for yoda to join him yoda plays an Ashoka and refuses saying, “only for you to take his place”.
Yoda slides under maul and cuts off his leg, palpatine takes the opportunity to slice maul at his neck, instead of his waist like obiwan did.
Now sidious and yoda stare at each other with lightsabers ignited (remember yoda does not yet know sidious is the senate). Their battle would continue similar to their one in the senate building, with sidious throwing the yodas own chair at him. They would also fight on top of the spike, where yoda would struggle to absorb sidious purple lightning and be pushed off the spire.
Yoda would flee, to go help surviving Jedi in the temple leave to head off world. Anakin would recover and join them.
Palps would convince the senate to reorganize into an empire to protect themselves now that the Jedi have evacuated. Secretly Palps would start looking for a new apprentice to help him continue to hunt down many remaining Jedi. (I think palps still believes anakin is dead)
(and I think most Jedi who were in the temple at the time would have survived since the clones had neither maul nor anakin leading them for a good portion of the raid.)
Padme would probably die because of sorrow during childbirth after hearing the love of her life had died to maul.
I’m going to stop here for now because this is very long but a civil war would break out:
Jedi v.s. imperial senate/leftovers of the grand army of the republic.
The Jedi still do not know that sidious is the head of the empire but they Should quickly connect the dots
I think if Anakin, Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, etc. would all have been alive and at the Temple when order 66 was executet, even with Maul there, they would have won for sure
