- This is the sequel to the Samsung UN58H5202AF tv that has no power and no indicator light. I will actually show you the full repair on this Samsung led tv so that you wont get any call backs after repairing the power supply board. We will disassemble the tv all the way down to the Led's inside. You will be stunned on how many leds are shorted, thus drawing a large amount of current to the led feedback circuit on the power supply board, and eventually blowing out the board.

Thanks so much for making these videos. I followed your videos and replaced the LED strips (ordered them from your link) and a power supply. Now my TV is good as new and I saved money not having to buy a new one. The picture is noticeably brighter, so a lot of the LEDs must have been shorted.

Thanks, I replaced all the LEDs from China, I bought everything works .... the job is delicate but I did, thanks, I spent $ 25

@@bigdog8882 hey man I bought the new led strips and put them on. Also bought a used power supply. When I received it there was some burnt parts. Now I have to order another one cus it didnt turn the led light.

No problem. You can go to Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. There usually in the glass removal and/or furniture touch-up section. About $12-$15 for a pair.

Have a 50 in Samsung smart TV changed the power board and the main board come clicking and flashing and stopped no pictures or sound why
Hello, I want to ask you to change the mosfet that you changed and after 5 days I put it back on short this happens poe that there are led backlight diados that are short, in advance thank you very much.

Just replace all the Led strips too. U should be fine.
@bigdog8882 I have a Samsung UN55J6201 that has no backlight or image. I've replaced the motherboard and the power supply board but haven't had any luck. I was checking for loose connections and when I touched the LVDS cable from the motherboard to the t-con board the backlights came on but still did not have an image on the screen. What would cause this?
Is it necessary to take off the paper if you can see the leds lights?
Thanks for the video" I am surprised that Samsung TV does not protect itself against faulty LEDs. most of the tv sets I repaired just stop and blink an error code.

In the tv menu there is an option. Under picture settings called back light. Bring them down to 50/60 and you shouldn't have a problem in the future.
